Do you have security->screen lock turned on?
Did you ever use Magisk? Try installing/uninstalling Magisk.
See if this gives you any leads (google):

just to clarify, you selected oem unlock in developers option, flashed a custom recovery and then tried to root which lead you to a error? Did you flash a custom kernel ?

Your Device is Corrupt. It can't be trusted and may not work properly.

Can anybody tell me if this is a problem for me? I've unlocked the bootloader, rooted with 2.62 SU and installed CyanongenMod

You think it's possible to actually remove this message from bootup?

On my N5X I have replaced those images with boot logo. I am sure this will get worked out in no time for N6P as well.

This message actually is something to worry about, it isn't the usual "your device can't be checked for corruption" message.

Just ignore it , its because your not running stock Kernel, CM would have to patch it or try a different Kernel that's been patched .
I believe its due to unlock bootloader. I locked my 6p and dont get any message like that, unlocked and got this message everytime i reboot my 6p.

Yeah, this is a different message than what I get. I get "Please lock your bootloader" message, not this one.

Learn how to act on forums and you'll get a lot more help. Once unlocked you'll get that warning unless you cover it up by flashing a new logo.bin as shown in the above post. You should also do a lot more reading before flashing anything.

Did you flash 9.0.11 or older? If you flash any newer than 9.0.11, you cannot unlock bootloader.
Hope it helps.

What command, in fastboot, did you type? It should be 'fastboot oem unlock'.
Remember this will wipe all your data on the phone, so make a back up.
