Moto G4 plus bricked - Moto G4 Plus Questions & Answers

So here's what happened.
I was on rooted stock, rooted with super su. Stock ROM version was Feb 2018 security patch. Because of excessive screen burn issue and because kernel adiutor stopped working, I decided to shift to RR Nougat. I flashed RR with gapps and set it up. Then I had to root it, so I switched off the phone to boot it into recovery. Then, bam. Phone isn't getting turned on.
Any fixes?

[Q] GT-I9505 with CM10.2 Bootup Sometimes Hang Issue

Dear all,
I followed the CM webpage wiki to install the latest stable ver 10.2 on my S4 i9505.
Heimdall in download mode to install CWM
then boot into CWM to flash CM10.2
It didn't went smooth at start so I did a few times with the Heimdall and flash CM10.2 a few times.
Now everything works except once a while when reboot the Bootup screen hangs there before entering the CM loop logo. It only happen once a while and need to long press power button to reboot. There was once the 2nd reboot also hang there.
Any idea what's the possible cause and how to fix it?

Thank you for the reply. I doubt that can solve the issue..
Could this be related to knox bootloader? I checked I got this void line 0x1 in download mode.

I think I might figured out the problem.
Might because I didn't do properly during rom flash. I forgot to wipe the system when flash cyanogenmod.
Could be because of this. I've switched to a different rom now, so won't be able to verify until decide switch back to cyanogen.

Used an older version through odin
This ended up being sorted for me, as it just booted after about a half hour. But how, if you hit this red screen can you reflash? You aren't getting to dowload mode or recovery with that perma-red screen
lol, I spoke too soon again, was reflashing twrp after going back to a stock rom, this happened again for me only its not budging from red screen now. I can't get into download mode as I mentioned above too
hey guys I have the same
the phone dont even switch off
how did you fix it?
edit SOLUTION : I managed to reboot the phone with adb
add reboot
then I flashed the version 3.0.0.0 of TWRP and it worked !
Help!

I am having the same problem. Odin is stuck in "Setup Connection"
Do you have any ideas?
Thanks
You have probably flashed a wrong kernel.
The solution is to flash the right kernel for your device.
I was flashing S7 root on S7Edge

Lol. I have the very same problem: Flashed The Galaxy Project ROM and hit "update bootloader etc...." and now all I have is this red screen..... - Though the ROM worked for a couple of hours, but when I tried to enter the recovery I stock with this red screen. Cant even go into download mode...
Any help? How did you solved this issue?
I didn't, ****ty Rom just bricked it.
Just reflash the recovery or flash stock. I can't, my pc doesn't recognize my s7 anymore.
He doesn't even bother to mention that bug...

Same here. Only in my case I use this ROOM for weeks

Got Stucked at Bootloader screen

I was rooting my device and was successful l in that. I flashed TWRP and Magisk and after that I decided to install a custom ROM. While going for it I again wiped the - Delvik Cache, System, Data and Cache. And when I tried installing that ROM it doesn't gets install. Moreover I can't boot into System anymore and now I'm stucked at the screen saying "Your device has been unlocked and can't be trusted." Also the screen is showing "ID:N/A"
So please please please help me with this problem ASAP. I can't use my phone now please and I regret for what I've done.
Try booting into fastboot mode. Hold down volume down and power for several seconds. If you can get there, you can flash the stock ROM and hopefully get back to normal. There are other threads that show you how to install. Make sure you use a version that is greater than or equal to what you last had installed.

When you installed a custom ROM your stock ROM was gone. That's how it works. But the reason you're stuck at the screen you're at, I don't know.
Restoring back to stock is the first thing I'd try to see if you can actually use your phone

It seems to only work when I’m on marshmellow but when I try on nougat it just shows black screen, I think I found out it was something to do with a backlight issue or something :/

Ok that would make sense because my SM-T350 is on 7.1.1 (Nougat) and TWRP works fine.

May I ask what ROM you're using? I am looking for a custom ROM for my SM-T350
Same thing is happening with me, SM-T350 on Nougat 7.1.1 and it black screens when trying to boot into TWRP. ADB shows the device is in recovery mode, though.
