Riptide GP : Renegade keeps crashing after few minutes gaming - OnePlus 5 Questions & Answers

Hi guys
I have a little problem playing Riptide GP Renegade, I never had this problem before, but after playing it for 2 days, now my OP5 keeps crashing after few minutes gaming: it freeze and produce crazy constant sound from the speaker and then after few seconds OP5 reboots by itself… I tried continue gaming but after few mins it does the same.
So I’m wondering if it’s due to the game ? or hardware problem of my device ? very hard to check..
Do you guys have the same problem?
Cheers’ :highfive:

Phone non-stop vibrating when playing Zenonia.

Recently, I installed the game "Zenonia" on Acer Neotouch and while I was playing for a couple of minutes, the phone keeps on vibrating non-stop, and I had to do a soft-reset in order to stop it from vibrating again.
Can someone enlighten me on this issue? Or Acer Neotouch couldn't handle this game? (Which is unlikely!! I mean, it's 1Ghz Processor afterall).
hey, simply disable vibration in this game, and you will be fine
Oh gosh.
Yeah. Just as simple as that, haha.
So careless of me, thanks alot

[Q] Freeze and reboot

Hello everbody,
bought 2 weeks ago the Nexus 4 16GB and I'm very happy with it.
But i have the problem, that the device restarts when it is under load, means i play or watch something what needs
the full power of the CPU and GPU.
It happens a lot when i play Iron Man 3 The Official Game or Dead Trigger.
Than the device freezes, can't kill the app or even lock the screen and after 10~ seconds it reboots itself.
Active Wifi, Bluetooth, 3G or not doesn't make any difference.
The only strange thing is, what i discovered after a few crashes, is that the battery gauge stands still before the crash and after the reboot the gauge drops to it assumed level.
Screenshot as attachment.
System: Android 4.3 Stock (with this last mini patch from last week)
Does anyone have a idea how i can fix this?
I tried, to charge the battery while android is off and to turn android at 100% on, but this doesn't help.
Sincerely,

Did you undervolt the CPU?
If this is happening without rooting/etc... then I would definitely get a replacement. It sounds like the processor is overheating and causing a reboot rather than throttling.
Today i checked if the device is getting too hot.
But after 2 minutes playing Iron Man, by 9°C outside (i was on the way to the city, waiting for the train), it rebooted.
So i started the game, deactivated the display and put it on the table. After 4 hours i checked the game and played over 10 minutes without a crash.
So what i think is, that these two don't like Trim (most new feature with 4.3) or the are badly programmed and must reload/refresh objects while playing and Trim must work to clear temporary files.
And they are badly programmed, because i red at the developers page, that a few other people have the same problems.
So excuse me for wasting your time. But hey, to err is human.

[Q] GTA:SA Not working fluently

Hello. I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 octa (GT-i9500), i want to play Grand Theft Auto San Andreas on it. The thing is i was playing it before I updated my device. When my device was on 4.2.2, it was running really smooth. Now I updated it to 4.4.2 and installed on it, not it's not fluent. Every 3-4 seconds, it freezes for like half a second and continues from where it was. Now I tried lowering the graphics and also turning frame limiter on/off but none helped. Even on the lowerst quality, it still does the same thing. What can I do about it? Please help.
Thanks.
