Yes, you will need to Odin firmware PH1 or PI3 as they have the same bootloader version as Nougat.

my s7 edge running android 6.0.1 , firmware version (G935VVRS4APH1) and i want to flash firmware (G935VVRU4BQG1) this is android 7.0 nougat, both is stock verizon firmware, are any problem? may i flash this firmware with Odin??
If i downgrade from oreo to noguat am i going to trap knox ? and also is it even possible to downgrade through odin after having official oreo firmware in my s8 plus ?

My phone is 928c. But phone shown 928f.and currently installed android 6.0.1
Now i want to update it on 7.0
So how i flash/update it with 7.0 firmware.
