Notification issue is still here.... None of social media apps gets real time notifications except if you have locked them in recent apps list.... That's too bad...

I love how the iPhone does it it... by showing a number next to the application updates icon showing you how many and which apps can be updated. A simple click or two and your app is fully updated.
Will Android be able to do something similar? I don't see anything currently on notifying us of updates in the OS. There is a downloaded section in the android store that shows which apps you have downloaded and installed. I guess in here it could say "Update Avalble" next to an app that has been updated?
I really hope this feature is already there or will be added ASAP. There's going to be a tone of software hitting the store soon and most devs will probably release updates every 1-2 weeks. Right now, I don't think it's even possible to see what version of some apps you have installed.
So far what I encounter is that once I open and application and an update is available it asks if I want to download the new version. No so sure about the OTA build update...
Actually, it's quite annoying, for the apps I've had that are updated the update box pops up every minute or so until I hit update. This is only for marketplace apps.
My point is, don't worry. If you have an app that needs an update you're gonna know.
That's good news. I'm glad they thought of this. It's one of the things I disliked about WM. I'd have to open each app and check the version number, and then visit the devs website to see if there's a newer version available. I really like that I can now spend more time working (or playing) and less time checking on things like the latest updates.
That would be pretty annoying to have it pop up every minute or so... hopefully they'll fix that in one of the next updates. But if it were me I'd just update it right away so it wouldn't effect me.

I had the following apps for the past 2 days that had updates but Android never notified me of the new updates:

FatSecret
I had to visit the marketplace and scan for apps be newest release. If I clicked on one of my installed apps and there was a newer release it would have an "Install" link instead of the normal "Open" link.
Just received an OTA update to my legend. Claimed to be a update for the camera. Updating now......

Seems to be a new market app as well, now missing apps are showing up

This is not fixed in this release:
1)My contanc photoes which are synced with google do have a wrong resolution after syncing with google contacts!
2) HTC browser app doesn't fit google services web sites like (buzz gmail reader) correctly withing a browser window, it zooms them greatly so they become unreadable. Also an address bar covers a web page while page is loading and its very annoing!
3) Search in people app works only in english! I need it to be reachable in Russian also.

I have tried manual install via Settings-About Phone-System Software Update!
Now I can see many apps that were not available before in Market!
no update in germany with vodafone branded legend... hope this changes soon... or do we have to wait for vodafone to release a branded version??? hope not!

It's just a small bug fix for apps not noticing the camera...nothing else, move along people..

Just updated over the air.
can see all apps in market now. Not any noticable diffrences.
It did how ever fix a weird bug i had. My Stand-bye was always showing twice the amount of time of the unplugged time and showing like 80% battery use its now back to normal wonder if it also makes a difference for my actual battery usage.
Updated on unbranded Legend in Spain.
Finally, Layar is available in Maket and working correcly.
Hungarian Legend updated as well.

My wifi is fine: working and locating several networks. Also correctly enable and disable from wifi widget.
Market is not able to recognize and update "manually" installed apps. Need to install from Market again (it keeps user settings) to update to new versions.
Hi everyone. I've used for a while MiFavor 5.0 on my U device. But I have some issues. Maybe you have same ones and you find a solution..
1. Root Explorer is not working.
2. Fun Run 2 is not working. (It works after installed but it is not working anymore if you close from recent apps.)
3. Sliding is not smooth on Google+ & Twitter.
I've upgraded my Chinese Axon 7 to MiFavor5.0(A2017V2.0.0B08) And it has some bugs and glitches associating with google apps especially google play games, it doesn't sync and it is stuck on this page(see screenshot) .It also doesn't sync to Chrome. Another issue is that if you go to settings/google/sign in and security it gives this error(second screenshot).Please help if you know how to fix these issues. This update has really messed up my Axon7.(I have reset factory both before and after the update)
I don't experience your issues.. the only thing that bugs me is when I'm using VPNs. previously on B01, when I close the vpn app on the tasks, it also closes the vpn connection. But on B08 when I close the app, the vpn connection still remains.
I can't download any apps from Google Play Store from my Chinese Axon 7.

May be its because of test version. I faced similar issue when upgrading from marshmallow to nougat.
I manually upgraded the play services , even then I am getting the same error and its showing as uncertified device.
Can't connect my account to any apps like YouTube ,Maps etc its giving network error.

Everything could be possible, but I didn't any beta test from official Google play store. I got problem yesterday.
The strange thing that Calendar, Chrome, Translate, Gmail are working smoothly.

Same here Chinese version, i suggest to wait rather than start installing & un-installing things... alternatively impotent Apps can be updated with side load.

found an article today, that there are problems with certifications, but mine shows me it's certified.
I also have an old Samsung S3 with a different google account. This works pretty good on google play.
Than I made a cross change of the accounts. S3 still worked, Axon 7 not.
same here, error code 404. I've phoned UK Google play support tonight to alert them.
I was able to update 1 app today .... They other still error 404 ...

Exactly same here. Some apps can be downloaded or updated but others give you error.
Maybe something is changing, I got google synthesis voice right now and no the other..
All my apps are up to date now but i still can't download some new app ...
Same here can confirm some Apps does update and some don't.
one more update, all of my applications are now updated, the store keeps on failing and retrying (automatically) but at the end applications are updated.
is it annoying to the eye, and i assume all of the failed installations cost data but at the end the issue seems to be resolving itself slowly.

I have the same issue with the BBC iPlayer app. It has arisen very recently. No idea how to fix this. I suspect an update might be needed (for the M3 not the app). This is the only android I've had where most apps are flagged up as not being optimised for this device.

it was weird, If go into the bootloader I cannot get past an old EMUI update. that tries to load and crashes. However my Pad was not loading 3 or 4 Apps and all of a sudden it straighten itself out and the problem stopped. I really feel there are no really good Android Pad and unfortunately I may be headed to an IPAD when this Bricks.
Had the same issue and saw a story on Android Authority about problems with Google Play services and Huawei. Followed instructions for a beta version of Google Play services, installed and this fixed my issues with apps not loading.
