I'm having a weird issue, and would appreciate your help or input very much.
My issue is with Samsung messeges.
When I receive an SMS, I get a sound notification, followed by a preview, and than the SMS disappears... The notification card in the status bar and lockscreen is not displayed.
If i miss the sound notification, and I don't check my SMS's, I don't even know that I received a new one.
Is anybody else having an issue of this kind?

Hi, I'm hoping someone can help me. Everytime I receive a voice mail, the message indicator appears in the status bar, but then disappears after a while even if I have not checked my voice mail Does anyone one know if this is a bug or a setting somewhere? Any help is appreciated.

A few days ago I had to restore my phone and I wanted to get my original SMS notifications settings back but I couldn't figure out how to...
I want:
-stock SMS notification on notification bar
-custom vibration pattern
-reminders with custom vibration pattern and custom time interval/number of reminders
-no 3rd party notification on notification bar
I was using handcent and stock, and it was working fine.
Now, I either have no vibration/notification from handcent, or vibrate with the notification in the notification bar...really annoying....
I tried using some apps like SMS alert, SMS notifier, and they couldn't serve the above.

I am on stock firmware latest version. AOJ5. The notifications on my status bar don't clear even after opening the application itself and reading the message. For example, when I receive a whatsapp message, or new e-mail I see the notification for them on status bar. Until 2 days ago those notifications cleared themselves as soon as I opened my whatsapp or e-mail and read the new message. Now they don't anymore. As a result I always have a notification on status bar telling me I have new message. To get rid of it, I have to manually clean all messages from the bar. How can I fix this?

Ok, I solved it. It seems another application was intervening, I uninstalled it and all is back to normal. Sorry about this. This message can be deleted.

since I have installed some of galaxy s7 edge nougat roms, I'm experiencing strange notification bug. When I dismiss one notification by swiping I delete all from this group from status bar. For example I have got 2 mails in notifications I delete one, both disappear. Any ideas? Will be greatfull for Your help

I have issue with notification for SMS at my d802 (newest official LineageOs 14.1). When i get notification about SMS and i'm replay in notification field all open apps in background are getting hided and notification is still visible. Did you have this issue too? I can add that other apps like whatsapp are working correctly.
