N900 Not Rebooting System After Flash - Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi all,
I've recently been gifted the note 3 n900 and rooted it. I also installed TWRP and CWM as well, and when i go to install a ROM, it does say successfully and then at reboot, it shows the samsung galaxy note 3 screen, after that it goes blank. I've to do a battery pull to get it back and then restore a backup. I've tried many ROMs and also did rooting again, still nothing.
I've been using the galaxy s4 i9500 for about 2 years now and that is rooted and i've been flashing roms on it all year long with no problem. I'm just not sure what's going with this.
I'm currently on 4.4.2 official stock as I can't do much. Lollipop has not yet come to my region i think.
Any help would be widely appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

Same Issue here but I am even not getting a samsung logo or a custom rom logo.

Hi
I had this problem for a couple of days, I found out that I flashed a incompatible rom via Odin. Can you can go into fast boot mode and tell me what it says at the top? Mine said " Couldn't do normal boot " which means the rom I flashed was not supported for my device. I went to the Samsung website to download a rom that was compatible with my device, I flashed it via Odin and it worked.
Thanks

I Just got my error fixed. U need to flash your bootloader via odin

I found that flashing the Stock Lollipop Rom worked, just as mentioned above by the above post. Yes, just by updating the bootloader i think it works. I've done it by getting the Russian stock rom from sammobile (even though i'm not in Russia), works like a charm. Really love the new feel to the note 3 n900. Just need to find a way to get permissive kernel now and ites perfect.

[Q] How to go back to official samsung rom ?

Hi all,
I have a Galaxy S4 GT-I9500 with a carrier rom and I want to have the samsung official rom.
I downloaded the stock from from this link: http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/3/?download=29362
I tried flashing it with odin V3.09, but when the phone loads it is still with the carrier's rom...
How can I completely remove the carrier's rom and have only the Samsung offical stock rom ?
Should I use Philz recovery to install the rom from zip after a factory reset ?
I'm not 100% sure, but I think you can't because the bootloader is locked down.
There's still no way to unlock the bootloader right now.

I'm not sure what you want, exactly. The 'carrier' version of TouchWiz isn't super different from the 'standard' TouchWiz. Maybe a few apps are added and the correct APNs and stuff are included. But the base ROM is still TouchWiz.
You can get custom TouchWiz roms that have more features than the stock one, but that look and perform just like the stock one. Those are carrier debloated (usually)
Or you can just root the phone and manually remove all the carrier bloat that you don't like and give yourself a 'pure Touchwiz' rom.
If none of that appeals to you there is also AOSP roms, which have none of the TouchWiz UI and look like like a Nexus device.

Hi mate ,
ILO is the unbranded version , should not have any of the carriers bloatware on it ..but it will have Samsungs....
Did the flashing went ok? if you still have philz recovery installed after flashing something went wrong
BTW bootloader is not locked.
Flashing went fine but with no change at all

Hi mate ,
After flashing what recovery you have installed?
Any Odin errors during flashing?
Check this guide
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2265477
Flash the rom with PIT file ( any of the ones you see there) then after you confirm that the flashing went ok flash the ILO firmware

[Q] Trouble flashing new roms afterLP stock flash. (N910F)

Hi guys,
I really hope someone can point me in the right direction here, I'd really appreciate it!
I've never had to ask for help before with flashing one of my devices, and have flashed hundreds of times with my previous phones, S3, S5 and Note3 .. However this one has me a bit stumped. I have the Note4 N910F and I see many awesome LP ROMS seem to require that you flash stock 5.0.1 via Odin before flashing the custom ROM.
I managed to do this successfully with the ROM listed at Sammobile called "Unknown 5.0.1 N910FXXU1BOC3 N910FTPD1BOC1" - Everything is OK, boots perfectly and I have cell signal and LTE. Rooting was also a non-issue. The problem I have though is that no matter which custom recovery I try, and regardless of ROM that I try, all seem to get stuck in a boot loop at the Samsung screen.
Am I doing or have done something horribly wrong?
Please help!
I think I may have answered my own question. The stock ROM I flashed was BOB3, it seems I need to be on BOB4, which is the German based ROM. Busy downloading that now!

N910C update to 5.1.1 failed

Good morning, my friends!
I have a little problem while I tried to update my note 4 910c turkey version via Odin.
I flashed the original 5.1.1 rom. Everything looked ok, but when the phone rebooted nothing happened. That's not at my first smartphone with android so I really have a pretty ideea how to flash something via Odin.
Also I tried a few weeks ago to flash another original ROM and the same thing happened.
Can you give me some ideas about that?
Thanks a lot for your attention!
Cheers!

Did you follow the instruction givin in the sammobile website?
Did you unzip the file?
check AP then add on it
if so maybe you should re download the rom.
i did the update over the 5.0.1 no issues .... then i decided to wipe and flash clean and that was super good
what do you mean by nothing happened? it still 5.0.1 firmware ??

Hi! anyone can post solution to convert N900V to N9005 please?
thank you!
Hi, I don't know if this has any relation to my problem but this is what has happened :
I wanted to add a custom rom to my SM-N900V so I upgraded it to Android 5.0 but I upgraded it to pl1 so I downgraded it to of1 and rooted using Arabic tool app. I flashed twrp through Odin and flashed hyper drive custom rom but that rom was rubbish. So I decided to switch to Aryamod rom and flashed it through twrp but after rebooting got stuck on Note 3 logo on searching I found out that the stock kernel has to be replaced with darklord kernel so I used Odin to flash it and on rebooting I got past the note 3 logo but got stuck on Samsung logo (it was blinking) after waiting for 20 min I again started searching on xda, I found out that before flashing Aryamod you have to be on stock 5.0 firmware. So I again used Odin to flash 5.0 but it failed so I tried again and this time it worked ,then I again rooted using Arabic tool and after successful rooting when I plug in my phone to my PC to unlock it's boot loader the phone only charges and I don't get and USB options on my phone, Odin does not detect any device neither does the Arabic tool and when I see the list of and devices there is none. I reinstalled the drivers of my phone tried many cables and different ports disabled and enabled USB debugging 100 times and even dialed ##366633# and disabled and enable dm mode from there also but all without any luck. I really want to connect it to my PC to flash stock firmware again. Pls help me.

Tab A6 Sm-t585 no charge, no boot

Hello, I have a Tab A6 2016 (SM-T585) that won't boot with the error message "could not do normal boot, invalid kernel length"
This came out of the blue, as its completely stock.
It's not rooted so I have no clue if I can flash a new oem rom to it.
Recovery menu is not available so I can't try hard reset, only download mode is available.
I'd like to fix it so my kids and girlfriend has a spare (I currently use an old outdated lenovo)
Anyone have a solution or workaround for this issue? Or do I just drop it off at the recycling centre?
You could try flashing stock rom with Odin. Helped me with similar problem. All data remains
