Hey guys! First of all, sorry for my english, i'm from Argentina. I bought a used G2 last month, and in the box says it's a D806 (Argentina version), but in the options menu into de OS, it says it's a D802. I thought the guy who owned it before flashed a kitkat rom for D802, it worked fine. Then I installed CloudyG2 without problems, but today I asked myself if the phone was really a D802 or not. So I installed D806 KK baseband and a stock KK D806 rom through twrp, and when the phone started it didn't have any phone signal. I mean, I can't call, it says 'Service Disabled'. IMEI it's null too, but I have an efs backup.
When I try to get into twrp I realize I can't get into it. The white hard reset screen doesn't appear, I think I pressed the button combination (Vol - + Power) like 30 times. Then I tried to install twrp with the pc and debugging mode, the installation looked OK, but then the phone rebooted and the android robot animation appeared.
I'm stuck here guys, please help me out. It just stays there, I can't get into recovery mode, I only can get into download mode, but I also tried to install a kdz file with lg flashtool but at 2% of installation it crashes. An error appears and I can't do anything else.
I readed something about TOT files, but I'm really tired now, tomorrow I will keep trying, no recovery, no phone, no kdz flashing, I'm desperate.

Ok im stuck here, Totally messed up my G2. :crying:
Ive been on CM11 for quit some time but as the G2 recently got updated to 4.4.2 decided to go back to stock, I was rooted with iRoot 25 and had TWRP v2.7.0.0 installed.
I done the stupidest thing ever, Set my phone to download mode and ran LG Flash tool, The flash tool updated my D802 but now im stuck in boot loop, I see the LG logo then my carrier logo for a few secs then a repeat of that, I left it for about 15 mins but just kept doing the same loop!
I can access download mode fine!
Any suggestions?

Hi,
I'm living in Spain but in a trip to the US I got a LG G2 from sprint LS980. Everything was fine until I installed Xdabbeb's Camera/Video, the phone when dead, only showing the LG logo, nothing more. Tried a few thinks but nothing, so I send it to a repair shop. Big mistake!!
They flashed the LS980 with a Spanish D802 rom.....
Actual situation:
Bricked in lg logo.
Cannot access download mode since in the D802 rom doing vol + and power goes to the factory reset.
Can access to recover but when I do the adb sideload, I always getting the can't read message. Tried everything (new pc, adb in hard drive root, zip.zip....)
I did a lot of research but nothing apply to my case, since I can't access the download mode and no TWRP.
Don't know what to do more

have you tried VOL up + inserting USB while phone is shut?

Yesterday I was installing simple kernel on my LG G2 European version 32 GB with the latest nightly from Cyanogen 11. I had twrp recovery and stupidly used Clocwork mod Rom Manager app to go in recovery, I didn't know these two were not compatible. After that the only thing I had in the screen was the LG logo, so I tried everything to restore it and finally with LGMobile Support Tool I succeded in reinstalling the original Rom. But after I boot up I get the screen I uploaded, where it is asking me some kind of pin or password, but I really don't know what is it talking about. While on this screen I get a click periodic sound every 2 seconds. I tried to boot in recovery or hard reset, nothing happen. I'm totally lost right now. what can I do? Thanks in advance

I flashed with LG Tool stock rom. Flashing stopped, dont know why.
After this I have no download mode and no recovery mode.
Only LG logo appears and after that the screen turns dark.
Please help me.

When the flashing stopped did your phone shutdown or did you turn your phone off?
Did you use a site like LG Firmware ROM to download your KDZ? Just to make sure you flashed the correct .KDZ for your device.
I find it weird how you've lost access to Download Mode. I've had my LG Flash Tool stop half way through a Firmware Upgrade but Download Mode was always still accessible.
Have a look at this guide. It requires you to have access to a UNIX environment.
I am on this Rom: International Lollipop Stock G2 D802
I want to go back to stock, I flashed the stock 20h kk rom X times and nothing happened.
Now the upgrading stopped (I see on phone) at 19% and a retry window appears on pc.
I press retry and the process stopped again at 19%. Begins itself at 1% up to 19% again. severell times until it said I have to take the battery out of the phone and retry the process. I take out the cable, power off the phone and try again, but I have no download mode anymore.
It was correct kdz file.
I am not sure if the thread is correct for my situation. Can I use the lollipop international rom also?

i bought an lg g2 d802 32gb , whene I checed its imei it said that it is a d800 model
in the first time the phone start crashing from itself , without doing or installing anything
then i update it to 5.0.2 when the screen start acting crazy ( whene i try to click a button the click goes somewhere else on the screen like whene i hit home button it open the menu etc ...)
than i thought its because of the update and i tried to go back to 4.4.2 , and that whene the phone wont boot to download mode and goes to qhsusb_bulk(qualcomm 9006) mode instead
, i tried to flash image files with the d802 images but they didnt work , than i tried the d800 file and oops it did work and i flashed 4.4.2 but the screen still crasy and a new problems came out
like sim is not readable and it consume battery life very quick (a full battery doesnt last a day in standbay ), and the size became 16gb instead of 32
I couldnt find any solution for my probleme , please help

I know that I may have to reflash partitions but I dont know how, but think that d802 partitions wont work , and d800 causes a lot of issues , any ideas ?

having the same problem for three weeks. After flashing a new rom the screen has gone crazy. Cannot use recovery mode because the screen has its own life....
Downloadin any KDZ file I have found using download mode doesnt help. The screen is still crazy.
Solution ??
First step, get an otg cable and connect your mouse. Second of you're rooted, then be ready to download a reboot app from the play store and reboot to TWRP.
From there backup everything and then reflash a rom.
See if that fixes your problem
