PhilZ Recovery Help! :( - Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So I have a problem
My old good friend TWRP Recovery is not working
when i try to enter twrp Recovery my phone is stucking at the blue Text (recovery booting...) and my S4 get very hot and then Reboot.
But now i'm using PhilZ and i want to flash a custom ROM.
I have the ROM and Gapps in my Download folder.
(because i dont have that small mini sdcards )
When i click on Factory Reset there is written :
Data and other stuff like cache...
But i have the ROM in my Download folder and the Factory Reset would probaly erase the Download folder, too where the Custome ROM is
Can someone tell my how to flash Custom ROMs in PhilZ without erasing download folder?
I'm using S4 GT-I9505 Jfltexx DBT
And on the FW NK4
Knox already 0x1
Rooted
Sry for my Master (Bad [emoji23] ) English

Normal reset doesn't wipe the SD card
Just wipe and flash it

Flash the zip in internal memory(your download folder) in Philz and do a wipe afterwards.
Best to buy a SD card and flash the .zip from there

Wiping afterwards has no point. You would wipe the rom you just flashed.

install rom manager and download / flash latest CWM for jfltexx (international which I`m assuming is what you have) and try again
so...
1) Install 4.2, get it running
2) Root device if you haven`t rooted it
3) Download Rom manager from play store
4) Flash recovery for jfltexx (it is only listed after you press menu and view all devices / recoveries)

for official firmwares Here
if u want new bootloader install lastest MK or ML series
if u want to stay on old bootloader than install your own 4.2

DONT ODIN FIRMWARE FLASH 4.3!!! YOU WILL UPGRADE YOUR BOOTLOADER!!! KNOX BAD!!!
Try the official CWM from ROM manager. Trust me.
Go into ODIN mode and if you see knox then you are on new bootloader.
If not, don`t flash a 4.3 image with ODIN. You will not be able to go back to 4.2 easily

Any errors in recovery when you make full wipe?
If you have a "emmc"error ... the flash of the phone is ruined and the is no software solution for this just hardware
If the are no errors try to flash the bootloader or root the phone (it will voids your warranty)and try to flash a custom rom
If the phone is not rooted and still have warranty .. send it to cusomer service centre..it will replace the mother board
Cheers

You should try to:
Download SM-N910C_WanamLite.OH4_BL_Modem.tar.md5.zip and SM-N910C_WanamLite.XXU1COH4.V3.0.NO-WIPE.zip from here
Put SM-N910C_WanamLite.XXU1COH4.V3.0.NO-WIPE.zip in your external sdcard
Reboot the phone in recovery mode. From TWRP go to Wipe/AdvancedWipe/ and tick DalickCache, System, Data, Internal Storage, Cache and "Swipe to Wipe".
Always from TWRP go back to the first page, hit "Install", search for SM-N910C_WanamLite.XXU1COH4.V3.0.NO-WIPE.zip in /external_sd and install it, after Wipe Dalvick and Cache.
Reboot in Download mode
In your PC launch ODIN and put SM-N910C_WanamLite.OH4_BL_Modem.tar.md5.zip in the AP button (untick autoreboot)
Connect the phone (in Download mode) to the PC via USB cable

When you download just the bootloader you have to put it in the BL button. But what I've linked is a modem/bootloader package and it has to be flashed from the AP button.

@k2828 am cen percent sure. am not telling to format system. if u format the system then only u will lose the current Rom.
check that is is saying that "Can't install this package on top of incomparable data run a factory reset"
when format the data the u will not lose the the current rom u will only lose the user data such as installed app, contacts saved in phone etc. actually formatting data means factory reset which will turn ur phone ROM into brand new u have to start over form the beginning. if u want to be safer side first do an nandroid backup of current stock ROM man then only u can restore that at any cost
look at the following step posted by @Rox
1. Download the ROM from the link below
2. Download GAPPS
3. Transfer the zip files to your SD card
4.. Reboot to recovery mode ( Vol UP + Home + Power )
Note: It is highly recommended to use TWRP recovery
5. Optional: Do nandroid backup
6. Wipe data / Factory Reset
Note: Needed if you are updating from other andorid version or stock
7. Install CM zip and GApps zip
8. Reboot to system
in the first you have to do Wipe data / Factory Reset the only u have to install the CM zip
still if u not believed me in the sense
