Might be because we're still running on KitKat and not Lollipop?

I have 5.0.31 on both Note 3 (v4.4.2) and Nexus 7 (v4.3)
I think you just need enable Internet connection for a long time enough for it to auto update.
When I tap on it - app says I have the latest version. But for sure it's not the latest.
My device is 910C. Lithuania.

Note: most apps of Google are NOT released to all handsets at oncem but have a "staged roll-out"! Eventually, the latest version will appear on your device too!
I update manually from apkmirror site.
But still very interesting why it didnt happen automatically.

Might be.
But few days ago I had galaxy nexus with cm11 (latest snapshot version). And Play store was always updating same day when new version was released.
Now I inserted same SIM into Note4.
Lets see how it will update in a future.

It worked!!!! After I manually upgraded to 5.0.37 yesterday it autoupdated today to 5.0.38 as well.
Problem solved.
PROVEN: Autoupdate works after manual update.
Mine still stuck on 5.0.31

Lol. It's a bug. It doesn't affect your device in anyway more than aesthetically. When backing out of a folder in your apps drawer very quickly you get a flash on the screen.
From what I've been reading on the thread, this is a very good update. I updated instantly just because I know a lot of people say many good things about it. To update or not to update? That is the question... that only you can answer haha.

Upgrade. It is really good firmware just that one animation glitch
FWIW, I received it per OTA like two hours ago (10 am CET), so it appears they finally are starting to roll it out this way, too.

Not completely sure what you mean, i know changelists, but no "changelist number"...
Did you mean "Build Number": JZO54K.N7100XXDLL7
One thing I've noticed is that in certain apps now when I click on a link it automatically opens it with the pop up browser. I don't know if that's an updated app (taptu is what I'm using). Before it would ask me to open it in the app of my choice! :banghead: any ideas?

same problem here, I'm from Italy and I have the same spec as you. I bought Nexus 4 just a couple of days ago.
I have googled the problem, but this is the first question I see that coincides with my problem.

Go to Settings | Apps | All | Select Google Services Framework select Force Stop then clear data. Then check for updates again...it might take a few tries to get it to go.
Or you could always do it manually read this

It does have DTIgnite. I disabled it. Settings\Application Manager -> 3 dots on right top -> show system\DTIgnite -> disable

I did this as well and once a day it still prompts the install and you have to defer it.

I have to do factory reset to get back Ringer and reinstalled all APPs so to sync properly to my Google account.
However I have problem to download a APPs (so far): SMS Backup and Restore.
So can i download from other source if can't download in system update?
Are in-app purchases working for all of you?
I keep getting error DF-AA-06, and I'm not sure if that's my device or if it has to do with our device not natively coming with Google Play.

If anyone sees this and have yet to update, download the update, take a copy of the update.zip that shows up on your phone's storage and upload it on Google Drive/DropBox/Mediafire or any other site. That way anybody with a TA-1000 who cannot find the update update regardless and I think a lot of people would appreciate it.
Unfortunately mine is already updated so I can't get the file any more.
I have no such problem. Did you add in and configure your Google Account?

A YouTube Red subscription is required for PiP to work with the YouTube app. Currently YouTube Red is only available in select countries
You can play a non-youtube video in Chrome or a preview of a movie in Play movies and use PiP
For Chrome, PiP works with videos playing from sites when the video is playing in the fullscreen mode
