[Q] .TIP files - Galaxy S 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi all
I have a problem (and maybe someone else will have), that my galaxy S5 does not boot, and does not allow any type of interaction via odin and return the error:
"Error: There is no pit binary."
As I researched, I need a .pit file for this. Where to find these files?
I specifically have the SM-G900MD.
Does anyone has this model and, if possible can extract the pit file from the phone to post here? or any place where to download it? I already downloaded the official stock firmware, but it is not possible to install because of this error.
Thanks
Oseias

[Q] Urgent Help Soft Bricked GT-i9507

I desperately need the correct .PIT file for an i9507. I have successfully rooted using i9505 method and run a few different unofficial CM11 ROMs designed for i9505 without any issues and working perfectly, however tried to flash another rom and have failed miserably :crying:
I have the stock firmware (i9507XXUAMH2 region OPS) but when I take all the necessary unroot steps and flash with Odin it fails and says "get PIT for mapping" I've found the i9505 PIT files but can't find the i9507 PIT files anywhere on the wen!!
Seeing as the phone roots and runs the i9505 method and ROMs, would it work if I used the i9505 pit file??
Also on my download mode screen its says the current binary: custom yet the system status: official
Any help would be amazing thank you

Dont make this "crazy tests" with your i9507 if u dont want a paperweight. If u have a i9507 use firmwares and ROMS for it, no for i9505.

Idd experimenting with a pit file from an other device is anything but wise
Thanks for reply guys, was just about to post to disregard this question because I got it all back up and running again. Turns out it wasn't the .pit file. I downloaded the original firmware from another source, flashed it and everything was good again. Have re-rooted and restored the custom 4.4 rom I had on there previously.
Again thank you and regards.

Could you please tell us what that other download source was for the original firmware that finally worked?

I know this question was posted long time ago .. But for those who still cant find the pit file for I9507
Download here
You can extract the pit file from the stock ROM archive. If the stock ROM is .tar.md5 just remove the .md5 from the end of the filename then extract with winrar or whatever you like, and then the pit file should be there.

SM-900F with invalid ext4 image error and stuck on Samsung logo

Hey guys, another rooting problem gone wrong
I've got the 'invalid ext4 image - volume size is too big' error which is preventing me from flashing firmware. Apparently I need to flash it with a PIT file simultaneously, but the few PIT files I've found online don't work with the firmware I've tried
Most of these PIT files don't even have the android version on them, let alone the full PDA/CSC
If anyone has a PIT file that matches something from sammobile or tsar3000 I'd be eternally grateful
I'm using a SM-G900F with UK 5.0 firmware at the moment

Need PIT file for SM-T337V

I'm working on a tablet for a friend, and apparently he messed up trying to root it. Now, it has either no partition or a corrupted partition so I'm unable to odin a stock rom. I have searched all over and cannot find a pit file for this variant anywhere. Is there anyone that happens to have a pit file for the sm-t337v, or someone who can extract one from theirs? It would be greatly appreciated.
Were you able to ever get it, I need it too.
Please, someone? Very much in need. Cannot find it anywhere.

16gb PIT file for i9500 request

As the title, all the links I've found are all dead so can anyone send me a working link for 16gb pit file?
Thanks in advance
You could probably extract it from your device, if it still boots.

Help, need pit file for T237P

Hi,
I need some help with my two T237P. I flashed Sprint ROM on my Virgin and Boost Tabs, now I have the Invalid Pit error every time I try to upgrade to newer OS. I downloaded the correct Stock OS for each now, however, I am still getting the Invalid Pit error.
Sprint tab 4 t237p
If anyone has or is able to extract the pit file from a tab 4 7.0 and upload it it would be greatly appreciated .
Thank You
