GPS issues Graviton v3.0 - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshootin

I have installed Graviton v3.0 and safestrap v3.72. My phone couldn't lock my GPS position in my phone. I never tested until yesterday when I needed directions and I was lost for a while wandering on the roads because the phone didn't lock my position. I was at least lucky that my car had navigation.
Did anyone face this issue or am I the only one having this problem ?

Isn't there a solar storm going on right now that has been disrupting GPS on and off?
Outside of that I never had any problems when I was running Graviton.

I am not sure, but I haven't got this working since last Friday. Even today it doesn't lock my position. I have set the location to high accuracy with still no luck. Any debugging that I could do to fix the issue?
I have restarted more than once to see, if it had something to do with the OS or something.

GPS cuts out?

Was testing out my gps for the first time while going to work and I had the gps cut out 2 times. It wasn't trying to get a gps lock but the whole GPS was turned off. Google Nav and Google Maps wasn't able to start up the gps. Disabled wireless and checked settings and it was enabled. Had to disable and re enable to get it to work again. When it did work however it was flawless... Hopefully this is just a one time deal. Will test again while going home.
I just got my atrix today, and i'm here sitting at my desk which is inside a concrete room with me being 8 feet from a window and i got an instant lock and it doesn't seem to drop it
I used nav as soon as I got in my car after purchase this morning to test it. It locked within a few seconds and never dropped on me. Audio is really loud and clear which is a major difference from the Inspire I exchanged to get it.
I got a lock today inside my company's steel/concrete building. After my captivate that seems like a real miracle.

[Q] [Samsung i9506] GPS bug - drops out regularly in morning

I have a strange bug on my Samsung Galaxy S4 i9506 and am hoping other people here have experienced and are able to solve the following:
I use my phone extensively for navigation whilst driving. I use Sygic as my sat nav app.
I have noticed that the location on the navigation app has been freezing at the location for a period of 2-10 minutes and then regains location for a minute before freezing at the last location again. This seems to happen every morning on my morning commute to work, however 95% of the time it works flawlessly on my return trip home!
I have tried using other nav apps such as Navigon and even Google Maps to isolate the nav app as the problem but they also seen to experience the problem. GPS Toolbox also loses location and regains when used.
I have found that if I exit my nav app and then re-enter it, the location appears to update for up to a minute before losing gps connectivity again!
I am running stock Android 4.4.2, Baseband version: I9506XXUCNF3, build number: KOT49H.I9506XXUCNH4. Phone is NOT rooted.
I am based in Brisbane, Australia if is a location-based issue?
I have even tried doing a factory-reset and reinstalled only the apps I use and the problem still appears!
I would really appreciate it if anyone could help here with useful suggestions and solutions as this has really been frustrating me for the past couple of months and searching for help!

[Q] GPS doesn't work after flashing CM11

So I recently flashed CM11 on my LG G2 (Verizon). After some initial troubles, I managed to get everything working just fine, except for the GPS. Even when I turn on high accuracy location services, the GPS will place me within a few hundred feet of my location at best when I'm not connected to WiFi. If I try using maps to navigate somewhere, all I'll just get a GPS lost notification soon after I start it, and then my location will randomly hop around as I drive within a few thousand feet of my actual location. I'll never actually get a GPS lock or have it be accurate enough to give me directions. This all worked perfectly fine on stock, so it can't be a hardware issue of any kind. Has anyone experienced a similar issue or have any idea how I may go about solving this?
Thank you
bump
I'm having a similar, if not the same issue. New D802 Intl LG G2, GPS was fine in stock.
I installed CM11 Snapshot M11 and GAPPS, and Google Maps is unable to use the GPS. Interestingly a 3rd-party apps such as the popular "GPS Status" and Co-Pilot apps work fine.
When I load Google Maps and it sits there looking for a location, the location icon doesn't appear in the notification bar. However when I use "GPS Status" the notification icon appears instantly and gets a lock quite quickly.
I notice a few mentions of GPS issues on the CM11 bug tracker but they say resolved -- https://jira.cyanogenmod.org/browse/NIGHTLIES-199
I just tried the latest nightly 20141022 (dirty update), but still the same issue.
I only just spent the necessary couple of hours to get the phone setup so I'm a little unwilling to do it again until the weekend.

GPS not locking on after 5.1.1 update

After updating to 5.1.1, the GPS on my N910G is useless for navigation. If I am still, it can pinpoint my location on "High Accuracy" setting but when I'm moving i.e. when using navigation, it never locks on. Setting location to "GPS Only" does not help either. Does anyone else have this issue?
I have a similar issue. After a reboot, the GPS locks for 2-3 minutes, and then stops locking until next reboot.
I just posted a thread about this!
I also can't get a lock after the update.
I tried so many things and I gave up , everything was fine before
I had terrible fix issues with my GPS. I switched from wanamlite rom to sweet rom, now my GPS works again!

S4 i9500 - Unable to get a GPS Fix - Even with enough GPS satellite visibility

Hello,
So the subject says it all . I am running KitKat 4.4.2 Ozcan ROM 6.3. Things were fine and my i9500 was serving as the primary GPS device with Google Maps to let me navigate through my daily driving in the new city. Suddenly for a past week or so I noticed that it started losing GPS signal quite often and GMaps was hung up with no or laggy updates with a message "waiting for location".
And today it has refused to lock to a gps location. I can see using various apps that it has enough satellite visibility (as shown in the attached screenshot), however it just keeps looping trying to get a fix without success. I have tried cleaning AGPS cache and redownloading it using "GPS Status" PRO, however to no avail.
I am almost out of ideas now as what could be the reason for it. Also have tried opening the back cover to ensure the GPS antenna contact points are clean and raised to have enough contact with the pins on the inner side of the back cover.
Any other ideas, or should I consider the mainboard has gone faulty and try to have it replaced.
I still love the SGSIV and want to keep using it as the GPS navigator and my music player.
Thanks.
A very similar problem with S4 (GT-I9506) on Lollipop 5.0.1. kernel 3.4.0-6069869. Until recently all was fine and now even though GPS Status shows lots to get fix from in the sky the phone is not getting location info. No idea how to get this fixed.
Try recalibration. Also, be outside when you try to get a fix. It doesn't always work inside.
