Hello there..!!
Can any1 plz help me recover my deleted files from the internal memory of Moto G. I accidently deleted a folder named emulator from the device and in result i lost all my data. Can any one plz tell me how to recover those files WITHOUT ROOTING my phone. I have tried many software but say to root my device first, but i dont want to do this cz it will void my handset warranty..?? Its urgent PLZ HELP...!!!!!

I think you have to root in order to do that.
Seems like you have deleted /storage/emulated, right?
I don't know any method that can save your data without rooting, next time be more careful about deleting things you don't know about.
Sorry for your loss bro. I hope someone comes up with an idea to save your data, but I don't think it's gonna happen without rooting.
edit: You can try this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2774016 to root without unlocking the bootloader (no warranty void) if you have 4.4.2

[Q] Best way to FULLY backup W/O Root

Hi everyone, not long ago I rooted my N7, all was well untill the 4.1.2 update came along. I updated my N7 and low and behold I've lost root.
I want to root again, but I don't want to loose all my apps etc AGAIN!
What is the best way to FULLY backup my N7 so that when I root again, I can restore it to its former glory?
Shall I use the in-built Backup function?
Copy and paste everything to laptop?
Any apps that make a FULL backup?
THANKS !
Im just using Mike's toolkit to backup, hope this is a good method
a bit off-topic.. rooting wont make u lose ur apps, if properly done of course..
only unlocking the bootloader factory resets the device.. since u have rooted before, ur bootloader should be unlocked already..

[Q] Can I recover data?

Yesterday, I unlocked my bootloader but did not back up the files, is there any way possible that I could recover those? I found a guide to recover files but could not understand as it was for another device;

It should work the fine for our device too... Go ahead with that procedure.

Help, tablet rooting ( LenovoA1000L-F)

Hi to everyone
ok, Im a begginer in this area of rooting and this kind of stuffs but recently the idea of rooting my device came to my mind ( Tablet lenovo A1000L-f) which is been 1 year since i bought this device... but lets get it to my doubt and questions about rooting.
. I want to root my device ( with kingo root) and maybe install a different ROM because my tablet is very slow and sometimes it crash and i have to make a hard reset and yes i would like to use apps that only rooted devices can use1
. i have heard that once you root your device the warrantly is void and there is the chance of make of my tablet a brick so, i want to know how could i back up my system ( the original from factory before root) in case anything goes wrong just unistall the rooted system and install back the original image from factory
i would be very...very thankful if anyone could help and excuse me for any foolish, i have said above! :silly:

Can someone help me out with some links?

I'm completely ignorant when it comes to rooting, but I've just finished up my warranty and I'm looking to root & bootload my phone.
I have the Exynos model of the Galaxy S8+, can someone please give me the necessary links to properly inform myself and complete the operation?
PS: I want someone to tell me if this will wipe my phone, because I really want to avoid that, I have so much data and I can't go through the process of redownloading and sorting it all out. Is there a recovery option to avoid losing my data? Please inform me on that, too,
Thank you in advance!

1. There are many threads on rooting one of the better ones is:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/sa...w-to/guide-root-install-twrp-samsung-t3747535
2. If you install TWRP you will have to format the data partition. You will lose all you apps and data in the process.
3. I don't have a recommended backup method myself ( except for twrp ) but you can use something like Google backup service or use smart switch.( PC app ).
