Video Editor / Editing App for Galaxy S4 - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshootin

Maybe I'm not using the right keywords to search because I can't seem to find any info
I know the Galaxy S4 has an option within Video clips for Edit which downloads a Video Editor from Samsung Apps. I checked out the specs on it and it's a pretty hefty-sized app 100+ MBs I believe. I didn't see any "great" or "highly recommend" reviews for it.
So I googled and found nothing on recommended apps for video editors / video editing on the Galaxy S4. I'm looking for something that will include the basics like trimming and maybe orientation flip from horizontal/vertical. More advanced editing I know will be much better on a comp but something that I can use on the go say if I shot a lengthy video and I want to trim a piece and change the orientation, maybe add a quick title and/or a fade effect and upload to youtube, instagram or facebook.
Any recommendations at all out there?
Thanks!
Maria

Easy Fix
The app for the S4's default video editor is in Samsung Apps. You may have the application disabled, so go ahead and enable it.
But if you want to fix the orientation for a video, I'd suggest you use
"Fast Video Rotate Trial," made by YCdroid in the Play Store
because that's the app I used (for only one video, of course. This app is a trial version of the full one).

I can tell you that you are incorrect about the Samsung editing app (at least for MDL and earlier builds). You must download it (as the OP stated) from Samsung. It does not come installed with the firmware. Maybe this has changed with later firmwares, however, because it is available as a download from Samsung, I doubt it. Maybe someone with MF3 or MK2 can confirm?

Inspire-SS check this site out http://ytpocket.com/
Just follow the instructions where it says "Click Here to Install the YouTube Player!" The player mentioned is just a plugin for TCPMP. But unlike the way described in the thread posted by Rudegar you dont have to download the video from YouTube's main site using a downloader and then play it. You can just search YouTube from the http://ytpocket.com/ search box and when you click the thumbnail it simply streams the video from TCPMP straight away.
I tried it today and i can confirm that it does work. Plus the site is mobile friendly and can do the whole thing from your device as i did during a lecture this afternoon...
Nice and simple!

YouTube Downloading

Hi, i know the touch diamond has a you tube application, but does it allow you actually download the videos and watch it later without any connections. or is there any other application that will allow me to download youtube videos??
Thanks !
Well I know you can paste the youtube url of the video on a site like keepvid.com and it lets u dl the file in mp4 format, and use the built in video player to play it smoothest
No, the YouTube application does not allow one to save the videos to the device, though I can say it is a great little application. They seem to have kept it rather basic, yet done a great job with it.
You have access to what I believe is all the videos from YouTube, so not like with the iPhone where you had videos compressed and put into a format suitable for iPhone.
With the YouTube application, you can Bookmark your favourite videos, search videos, see lists of top rated, featured and most popular videos, you can send someone links to the videos by email (not really looked at that feature) and there is the setting where you can have it on fast download or higher quality streaming and then there is auto which I think is based upon your internet connection speed.
To watch the videos, there is no better application out there that I am aware of. I also use CorePlayer occasionally too.
As the previous poster mentioned, you can access YouTube through your web browser, take the URL, copy and paste it in at Keepvid.com and then save the file to your device that way.
Here is Youtube downloader found on the xda
I found a Youtube downloader found on the forum

[Q] Does the Note 3 have a built in video editor, and what is it like

I know that there isn't much point editing video on mobile, but I like to trim/ tweak my videos, and have a bit of a mess around. So I was just wondering about this
By default there is only a trimming tool. If you are watching a video file and hit menu button > edit > Video Editor, it says the video editor isn't installed and offers you to download it (most likely from a Samsung store so the device will need to be reg with samsung account). I haven't downloaded it so can't comment if it's any good, will probably be good enough for some simple editing. The installed trimming tool is only good for - you guessed it - trimming.

Recommend a video editing app

I am wanting to be able to take multiple video clips, merge them into one movie, and be able to post them on youtube as a finished "movie"... this isn't that hard to ask for but I have searched for an hour in the play store and can't find something that actually works and will do these things. Can you post a recommendation?

Kinemaster Pro is a great app for that.
Cheers!
I must say that you should use Viva Video App which is one of the best one available for Android Smartphone but I must say that you really can't expect professional like editing tool for any smartphone because there is certain limitations in that we all know that. But I must that this app is really excellent!

Video Player

I came from the Galaxy S5 and the the S5 video player had a nice fetcher that you could take screen captures and go frame by frame forward or reverse. Anyone know how I could install that video player or know of another video player that has the same functions?
It's there but you have to click on editor in the menu and also download video editor from the galaxy app store
