[TOOL][WINDOWS] Simple Tool - Oppo Find 5

SIMPLE TOOL
This is a easy tool I made the other day. For now you can do simple enough tasks which just save you opening Command Prompt and flashing img’s etc. I do plan on expanding this a little and attempting to make it multi-device compatible. For now enjoy the limited function and let me know how you get on.
WHAT DOES IT DO?
Simple stuff, hence the name.
+ The buttons state what the do so you shouldn’t have any issues.

FAQ's
PHONE ISN'T RECOGNISED...
+ Make sure you have your device drivers installed.
++ If you are using Windows 8 then you need to Advanced Reboot and turn of driver signature verification.
+ Is USB Debugging Enabled and Root Access to ADB level, within Developer Options?
PHONE IS BOOTLOOPING...
+ Chances are you have flashed the wrong boot image or one that isn't compatible. This could be because your run a ROM that doesn't support it or that it's plain and simple for the wrong device. Have a check again and make sure you use the right one.
THIS TOOL DON'T DO NOTHING RIGHT...
+ Check to make sure you can run commands and get the phone recognised using the old fashioned command prompt way. Simple adb devices etc. If this works and the tool doesn't then feel free to post. Just bare in mind I test the functions on a Nexus 4, Nexus 7 & Oppo Find 5 with which the functions have all worked.

Thanks man. This will be getting a big update soon where you can one click - flash ROM's root, install recovery etc. So I guess it will move from simple to a little more advanced

Cheers and Happy New Year!!!!!!!!!!
Come on January 5th!!!!!!
Absolutely brilliant!
The SECOND this thing hits the intertubes, I'm all over it.
so glad to see this rooted before its even released. good news for us
Does this mean that current "preview"-nexus one phones DO have an unlocked SPL?
What happens if the one sold online DOESNT?
In that case I doubt you will be able to replace it easily if you don't have root or fastboot... (in case it only accepts signed update.zip files and no fastboot mode and such...)
I guess another hack/exploit would be required if that was the case...
Lol this topic title is a little misleading.
You can run "Homebrew" without root. You just need to make sure that the "Install from unknown sources" option is ticked.

assuming it works the same as other android phone, fastest wasy to get tether is using PDAnet by June Fabrics. its on the market and also available to download via their website http://www.junefabrics.com/android/index.php
its free trial and when the trial ends, you cannot use it to connect to https sites. http works fine.
drivers you need are just the std adb drivers, should be installed the first time you connect the phone to your pc.

I made the move from WinMo, which I used since the Cassiopeia days, to Android and have never looked back. Don't even think twice. Android has everything plus a whole lot more. You want file managers? There are so many different 5-star file managers that I have a hard time choosing between them.
Don't sweat the WinMo-to-Android move. It was the BEST gadget decision I've ever made. The only problem is that I am utterly and hopelessly addicted to playing with the platform. But I suppose there could be worse things.

Welcome to the Real World - it is not possible to do that.
Exe on Android? That's easy:
Just set up a VMWare-Virtual Machine with 154.7 Terabyte Memory and link it to the external SSD.
Then connect the high-voltage-cable from next power plant to your butt, switch on the Apollo-Kernel and...
... you are finished!
Man learn the basics and come back. Sorry if sounding harsh. But you can also ask how to teach an croc kissing.

No, this could end in a hardbrick.
You can use any dosbox-port to run old exe's. For new stuff just rdp to your computer using rdp or vnc.
I'm sure it's possible to hack together a way to do this, but I doubt it's worth the effort.
The real question is: Why would you WANT to run exe files on your phone?
Anyways, IF it is possible....Google would be your friend in this situation.

Ofcourse .exe can be run.
Trahzebuck shame on you for giving stupid advice.
U need to flash Half-Asylum build 0.3g. Reboot into recovery and then flash hydrawhore v7 beta.
Reboot.
Toggle Airplane mode precisely 3 times (MOST IMPORTANT STEP)
reboot again.
now you can simply push an exe file and enjoy your program.
Hope this helps.
Press Thanks if it does.

Root XXLS8 ( easy way )

I know there are 2 methods mentioned here for rooting XXLS8 but this one is different
for this method , we gonna use SiyahKernel S2-v6.0beta4 which is originally done for XXLSJ ( leaked 4.1.2 )
but it's totally working for this Rom,too, I tested it and it's perfect !
Grab the kernel from here here
flash via odin , download here

I don't think so, because every customization that you do will require root permission
and it will work when the phone is rooted, so when you un-root the phone
the customization will be gone.

Your customisation won't necessarily disappear, but the functionality will probably stop, with many mods requiring rooting in the first place. Anyway, why would you want to unroot after going to the bother of rooting and customising? The alterations possible are endless!

[NOTICE] I'm 'trying' Porting MIUI 7 for Titan

Oh, hey.
Since we doesn't have any candidate to patch and port MIUI 7 to Titan, I will do it by myself.
Um... I don't expect big returns for now... Actually, I've just synced Patchrom repo to my system. Then I'll start playing around. IF, only IF (not else or else if lol) the ROM runs sucessful-y I will create a proper Development thread later.

Funny Update
Okay, things are going on the right path. Sadly, I have to fix some errors so I can compile a zip file and test it.
Nice.. Looking forward to this :fingers-crossed:
Look, another update!
ROM got it's first zip. Stuck into bootloader. I flashed already knowing that it wouldn't boot up, just for testing purposes.
I will fix the remaining stuff and, about the RIL, I will ask for some outside help, just to make sure everything get's properly fixed.
Peace.

Let it rain! It's quite hard to get dual SIM working on MIUI. I made an simple port for Pocket Neo and it only works in single sim version >.<'
Anyway, good luck :v

But you are making progress to be sure. Glad to see this. I used MIUI back in the ICS days on my first smart phone (circa early 2013). I really liked it. Hopefully you will see great success!
Amazing!! I love MIUI!! I hope you or someone fix the RIL. One question, it's possible you post the link to download the ROM? I would like try the ROM!!

É complicado sim, cara. Vou tentar no que puder pra fazer esse Dual SIM funcionar, senão vou dumpar o projeto ou passar adiante xD

It's complicated indeed, dude. I will try what I can to make Dual SIM work, otherwise I will certainly dump the project or let another dev deal with it.

MIUI is around here for so much time... It's impressive on how hard it is port it to Titan. I think some people underrated this ROM nor had the interest to port it. Well, now I am here and I will try releasing ASAP.

Thank you! I will drop some download link as soon as everything is properly set. That screenshot I posted some hours ago was my first attempt on fixing RIL and softbar (which is clearly not appearing). I don't like to post non-ready stuff so, hang on just a while, I will drop it here soon!
At last, someone cared to bear MIUI for titan: D
Man, thank you very much for your work, for various devs already had given up this project ...
That you have a good future with this port
Thank you!
YOU ARE DOING AWESOME JOB BRO:good::good:

Thanks
As I said before, I will do whatever I can to make this ROM "usable", I'm dedicating a few hours per day just for MIUI, so here we go.

Nope, not yet. All went broken after the first boot, but it's still good news, as I started porting it 5 days ago. I'm really seeking for this ROM as much as you are, so keep checking!
