Preview3 contained workaround for preview rotation. Preview5 fixes this issue.

The first release is a full ROM at this point. This will be the base for the next preview releases until we reach the functional level of preview15 for ICS. Then I'll work on getting this stuff merged to CM10 (as happened today for CM9).

that depends if you have installed cm9 using acmeinstaller2 or 3. if you were using acmeinstaller2 you have to run acmeuninstaller to uninstall the cm9 and then acmeinstaller3 to install cm9 or cm10.
I would recommend you to create a backup, uninstall cm9, install cm9 using acmeinstaller3 and then restore the backup so you will have all your settings. then you can install cm10 (as usual with clearing dalvik/cache). but if you would like to downgrade to cm9 you need to restore the backup (as the cm10 upgrades the cm9's configuration database to the newer format that cm9 doesn't recognize)

It's based on the latest sources except the yesterdays jcsullins commit to the kernel (it's been built before the commit). The audio driver is from jcsullins preview. Generally the sources are newer but may perform a little worst than jcsullins preview. Will be upgraded in preview2 version.

The CM team has been working around the clock getting CM9 running on devices. I'm currently responsible for the Nexus S. Everything seems to be running great so far, and this ROM can easily be a daily driver for most enthusiasts. This thread will be updated until the build bot starts popping out nightly builds again.

This one has been build by @ bluefa1con so all the champagne & beer bottles goes to him. Is the same build as mines! I decided to release my version when I have most of the bugs fixed. HERE IS STILL PRESENT THE CHOPPY TEXT BUG! We think is caused by hardware-composition, we don't know right now.
Let's get started. First of all, WIPE YOUR DEVICE & FORMAT /SYSTEM, /CACHE, /PRELOAD! Then:
1. Download this build of Ubuntu Touch: http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-to...c-demo/quantal-preinstalled-phablet-armhf.zip
2. The both files from here: http://goo.im/devs/bluefa1con/ubuntutouch
3. Copy them to your internal / external memory. Note that dual-boot is not yet supported!
4. Wipe everything you can.
5. Install CM10.1 zip - DON'T REBOOT!
6. Flash quantal(...).zip file - AGAIN, DON'T REBOOT!
7. Finally, flash hdpi_overlay.zip and then you can reboot safely.
8. Enjoy!

Right now I'm doing a very beta test of my own build for Ubuntu Touch. So far it looks stable over the UI. Perfomances are not so great because I can't manage to get working all the 2-cores. latest rootbox is based on cm10.1??..if it is u can't dual boot it
No, Ubuntu requires specific kernel options. Until kernelbuilders are including these into their builds it won't work

AFAIK...dual boot will not be functional ..
bubble-be is right the kernel for Ubuntu touch requires some special properties
FYI guys, I have tested it only as a second rom (like boot2gecko). I test it right now as a primary rom and I have problems with the text as well. I don't really know what is happening but the screen looks like there are some ''dead'' pixels. You cannot read the entire text. I tried different kernel entries but no success, also wiped cache / dalvik cache. Let me see how fast can I fix it.
PS: try bluefa1con's build. Mine is not so far from it.

Battery performance is resolved! The CM10 source is current, and includes the most recent development not included in the official source by some of the best dev's here on XDA including: _Dorregaray_, jcsullins, and shumash!

Any suggestions on what Gapps build to install. Been using Rolands Lite V3 JB-4.2 Gapps Extras for most of my JB updates and it has been pretty reliable, but curious if there is something better or more appropriate for 4.1.2? Thanks, Sorli...

I recommend the 4.1.X series GAPPs package. However, I have seen 4.2.X series work without much issue, I just don't like the clock app.

I'm guessing by your question in the other thread that you haven't increased your partition size yet so the answer is yes although you should change the name so that it begins " update- "
You can just run acmeinstaller3 with nothing and it will resize your partition.
I trust you are running the latest recovery of either CMW or TWRP if so you can use either to flash after resizing.
The Android AOSP keyboard keeps crashing.
This is from a fresh install and full wipe. Anyone else having this issue?
[EDIT] Installed es file explorer and installed an alternate keyboard. Upon setting up my google account, account manager and gmail gave me the "Unfortunately ________ has stopped" errors.
SGA - Love your roms but 2 wipes/reinstalls and this is persistent.

No problem with the keyboard although I have just installed my SwiftKey keyboard as I prefer it.

As per an earlier post and on SGA recommendation I've used 20121011 and fingers crossed it's all working fine.

Edit :Goo Manager also gives me the option to Dl the latest gapps and it too came up with 20121011

I seem to have lost streaming video after updating from jcsullins latest. YouTube, Netflix and MLB At Bat all have the audio but only the black screen for video. Anyone else?
Nevermind - must have been something with Kernel tuner settings.... Uninstalled it, reflashed and works awesome!

Try to increase your system partition to 380mb and then try to reflash it.
Most problem are solved by it.

Wifi is ok , i heard there are many problems with rom.
Can you share how you installed it, i mean tmous or eu, nand or native sd , sys partition.
It has problems with wake up, i don't know why.

Increase your system partition size and then try it out
After few minutes it runs smoother, and there is no problem with wake up.
I think i have to change sdcard to faster and it will work perfectly. I didn't tested bt, camera etc yet.

Even i want to try it but waiting for seaman2k to update link because other two link are not working.
Camera works good, but at second attempt (at first there was white stripes across screen)
Bluetooth works.

i tested 2 days latest 4.2.2 Roms. partition 400mb with class 10 sdcard (NAND dataonext4). My antutu score drop down to 2600~2800 1130 mghz. No big bugs in Roms but is not enough responsive and thinking time by start from apps it longer as 4.1.2 roms (Antutu 3400~3600) 1130 mghz. Launcher little bit buggy. All other stuff works. Anywhere have this to?

This are initial release so it is bit laggy, it will take a bit long to behave like 4.1.2.
Have you tried xylon rom, i think by far it is most smoothest 4.2.2 rom, with not much bug or lag.
if your looking for 4.2.2 then xylon rom is good with both data and wifi, try to increase you partition size.
If your happy with 4.1.2 then undoubtely tytung nexushd2 4.12 is best rom. smooth as butter and very responsive and consistent.
AW: Finally JB 4.2.2 with wifi.
You say it. Im on tytung Rom 4.1.2 1.4a at the Moment. For me its a best ROM for daily usage.

You are right, its the best ROM.
Even i am sticking to same rom and will flash 4.2.2 when there will be release from tytung.:good:
I did flash the Seaman2k's 4.2.2 roms....i tried both of them, the PA and the normal version....alot of bugs and i would not recommend for daily use....not against it because i have been waiting for it for a very very long time...and i am using it because i like flashing different roms everyn week..

CM 10.2.1 has been branched and released, officially ending our planned release process for Jellybean (Android 4.3) code. Included in the release are various devices that did not see a 10.2.0 build, such as the Droid RAZR HD, Photon Q, Nexus Q, Nook, Nook HD & HD+ and more. This release does not bring a wealth of new features on top of 10.2.0, but instead focuses on bug fixes, APN updates, localization (translations), and some back port of code (and fixes) from CM11 (Android 4.4 Kitkat).

i wrote this for people that who didn't realized about Add ROW scheduler (android_kernel_samsung_crespo)
To activate it Setting/Performance settings/ i/o scheluder/ change it ROW instead of deadline and check the box which write apply at startup.

However, if you like have a try, and tell me what you think.
Flash as usual via recovery. DO NOT wipe anything before and DO A BACKUP FIRST !!!

I've been using it for an hour and there is no issues with the apps I use at least.
p.s. why is this not in the development section?
i can't open market or something with wi-fi and some times had camera problem not so much.

IMHO you should re-enable system property 'ro.sys.fw.bg_apps_limit' in crespo build because it's very useful on low memory devices. So revert the 'revert' patch ( ) http://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/c/48640/

wifi problem not related with the nightly it was my modem.
Everything (that I use) running smoothly.
Upgraded from @noloukos unofficial builds.
Dirty flash from cm10.1 nightly. Focal kinda force closes a lot and Nova gets killed almost all the time. Facebook app giving only ANR. But the ROM seems smoother.
Will probably do a full wipe when I get home

focal just once worked for me when i open the normal camera first.
Been testing for almost five hours. Had all my user apps from 4.2 installed on the ROM. I have to admit the ROM is pretty smooth compared to 4.2.2. The only bug I noticed is the FC when switching from primary cam to secondary(back) cam and back to primary cam again. Also, data connection upstream and downstream arrows don't show up on the signal bars when enabling 3G.
Yes, cameras are a bit buggy.
Anyone using Nova Launcher? Is it getting killed a lot? Like after going back from any app?
Focal and camera not working for me.
Also, cant redefine the lockscreen shortcuts.
