No actually I emailed the seller and he said he and another seller were in a "listing war," and now they have worked it out. 5 other buyers also purchased the same unit for 659.. I guess we're the lucky ones!

Yes. Let's hope my transaction goes through otherwise I'm ready to leave a negative feedback.
EDIT:
It's marked shipped! This seller is awesome! I highly recommend him (techno.trading.house)!
I also bought a GS3 from him, he is indeed amazing!

well lucky you i already purchased from never-msrp for over 700 but i think techno prices went up to 699

now its at $725 what a bad marketing practice ! At this price i would rather wait for the lte version. As soon as the lte comes out this international version would drop the price drastically .

Im not sure about you guys but I rather wait it out and get a Note that actually works on LTE.

Im going to have to agree. Those international versions will be the bottom of the barrels here in the US. Ones the US version comes out the retail price on the international version will plummet.

Unlocking the galaxy line is always easy , only after a month you will see a lot of unlocking service on ebay for as low as $20 .
I also dont see the point of unlocking the note 2 as it would be available in almost all carriers .

I snagged my self one for 699. But I agree not great marketing but great business strategy snag a fish for less make him entice others. Still cheaper than Negri or expansys

That is terrible customer service on never-msrp's part. You bought it for 650, he should HONOR it. My seller, techno, he actually went so far as to give me a refund of 50 dollars when I purchased a note 2 for 709 a few hours before it went down to 659.. so yeah I bought 2 note 2's for 659. I'm so happy! Techno is now my favorite eBay seller and I'm telling everybody about his great services.

The reason for me to get a international HSPA version is to get faster firmware update. Unless N7100, N7105, or any LTE version share same firmware, n7100 most likely will get update first

My reasons are:
1. Unlimited HSPA+ on AT&T's network for just $10.
2. Faster firmware updates.
Those are the only reasons. I couldn't care less about LTE (whats the point of it when you're limited to only 3GB?)

[ALERT] Bell Listing Galaxy SII - Coming soon!

I'm not sure if anyone has posted or noticed this: http://galaxys2.bell.ca/en/
It's finally coming to Canada. (Probably July 14th)
Their homepage currently does not link to the SGS2 page.
Wow, they just launched the Sensation also. And you guys were *****ing that you're always last to get the cool phones.
YES
Its about time... man the wait is killing me...
thanks for this amazing post.
Day one buy for sure...
I wonder if it will be the actual 9100 or a slight variation? It looks like the full i9100 to me which is good
Photo Preview of SGSII
Check out the photo preview of the Canadian SGSII
http://www.rgbfilter.com/?p=15028
One picture shows the following info:
Baseband version: I9100MUGKF4
Kernel: 2.6.35.7-I9100MUGKF4-CL280592 [email protected]#10
Build Number: GINGERBREAD.UGKF4
It's model number is i9100M. I guess it'll have the same updating issues as the the i9100T in Australia. It'll be interesting to see what's different that earned it a new model designator.

The original Galaxy S on Bell is the I9000M. Virtually identical to the international version except with some Bell bloatware preinstalled and a compatible radio. The good news is that it is compatible with all the I9000 custom ROMs. Hopefully that will be the case with the SGS2 as well.
Was leaning towards getting a Galaxy tab 10.1 but this phone is soooo hot.

Yeah I'd be interested in seeing the differences as well. I know the i9000 Bell model was the i9000M so would make sense that their sgs2 would be the i9100M. If its the same as how the 9000M can flash 9000 roms/kernels, hopefully the 9100M will be compatible with all the same kernels and roms as the 9100. Its nice to have all the devs in one locations instead of it becoming scattered across variants
And I just bought one from the UK -_-

I've heard that they might be, but I'm surprised that they aren't advertising it at all. Perhaps they might be releasing it after Bell.
Does anyone know how difficult it might be to unlock the Bell variant?
Thanks!

Don't worry its money well spent: ) I've had mine for over a month and haven't looked back. Bell is still charging 599.95 for the Atrix so can only assume it will be that price off contract or possibly more. And with taxes will be close to 700 I would assume. So really buying from UK you're no further ahead or behind. Except maybe warranty claims. Unless of course you are with bell and have an upgrade coming. You can always sell the UK version if so. They're selling for a lot on kijiji

SGSII confirmed on three networks so far
SGSII will be released by Bell Canada, Virgin Mobile, and SaskTel.
They all use Bell's network so it is not that surprising... not sure about rogers or telus.
SaskTel is offering it for $79.99 w/ 3year contract. amazing price, hope bell would have something similar.
Its time to say bye-bye to Wind.

Yeah, it didn't lose value; you just paid inflated prices, because it wasn't available in the US.
I paid a little more ($15 more, after shipping+taxes) than this a month ago for the NTT Docomo version, and I'm OK with this. I still have a warranty through Negri, and now that it's officially available from Google, I'm hoping getting it repaired will be met with little-to-no resistance.

[Q] unlocked-mobiles.com - Samsung Galaxy S4

Has anyone bought from this site before http://www.unlocked-mobiles.com/
If so, what was your experience,
The Galaxy S4 is very cheap on this site http://www.unlocked-mobiles.com/sim-free-mobile-phones/samsung-galaxy-s4-sim-free-p-84354.html
I was thinking of getting it, reading some reviews the only problems customers have come across is after sales support, if the phone has a fault or is damaged in some way unlocked-mobiles are hard to deal with (apparently).
advertisement!
I've pre ordered mine with them. They have taken payment already, which some people don't like. I'm not bothered as I've paid by credit card. They seem legit and are registered with company's house under ulm.com. No sign of going bust or scammers. They have been around a while too.
The price they are charging appears to be the same as the "leaked" rrp price that was reported several days ago, a few weeks after they first listed at that price. Seems like everyone else are just greedy gits

Eh, I don't think they're all that good as a company to be honest, my USB port died on my GS2 after 13 months, I emailed to ask about the warranty and they told me even though they advertise that it comes with a 2 year warranty, it's really only 1 year, and anything after that I'd have to prove Samsung was at fault and that it wasn't due to wear and tear.
Their site is hosted by "uk-cheapest.co.uk" and the registrant for their domain name has a Yahoo! e-mail address. They're certainly no Clove or Handtec.

To be fair that's down to Samsung. It's their discretion on warranty cover. Although you could go down the legal route when goods don't last a reasonable amount of time for the price paid, which the supplier is responsible for.
I'm not sure many companies would help after more than a month or 2 without a push.
Even Game required a snotty letter (pointing out consumer law rights) before they agreed to fix an xbox 360 past its warranty period.

Careful with these guys - they charge a 15% restocking fee if you change your mind - check their T&Cs. You get a shock if you return the item.

I live in the UK and owned the PH-1 for around 2 months.
It has been a good purchase as far as I'm concerned.

What network you are on? Do you get good 4G speed?
O2
Good 4g, I've had no issues.
Looking to get one for my wife this Christmas. Got a mate in US who could buy one from BestBuy for 449 dollars and ship it across. Hoping within next few weeks even cheaper considering Christmas discounts.
Nice ?

Please I am also planning to do the same. I wanted to know if you have to pay any taxes when you receive the phone here in UK. If yes then how much.

Hi there,
Just wondering if you get the same issue as I do with the phone (I'm also on O2), when I put it into airplane mode I get a voicemail notification, which is false and annoying. Do you?
Anyone needing an Essential phone for international use send me a private message.
