How to flash merruk kernel 2.0 pre final? - Galaxy Y GT-S5360 and Duos 6102 Q&A, Help & Troubl

I knw marac has specified it there vut i cant understand it bcz of his bad english
Sent from my GT-S5360 using xda app-developers app

1) Merruk hasn't specified the method to flash since its too beginner of a task and most android advanced users know that
2) Merruk's English is 100x better than yours
Read the 3rd post by Ronnie Ryan in that thread, it contains detailed explanation of how to flash the kernel, just follow the steps there

First of all his name isn't marac its Maroc-OS and "vut" should be "but" and "I" shall be capital and "can't" I won't talk about it
So don't say that his English is bad but your's is the bad one
secondly just follow the hitme987's post and press Thanks to him
Finally stop asking questions in development thread

TO THE OP:
YOU DARE MOCK SOMEONE BECAUSE OF HIS LANGUAGE?,
Merruk's kernel has been installed thousands of times, and you're the only one complaining about his "english",
let me see what you done so far,
you always create threads for every question you have in mind,
you are wasting air and space in this forum,
learn something and try to do the things yourself,
don't remain ignorant and be like others who try and learn the methods,
Merruk's instructions were clear and good,
I don't see you bragging about your global lexical repertoire? so don't discriminate someone and look yourself in the mirror first or at least get a brain

Srry but whats wrong with u guys.....xda is made fr asking q. And i m making all these threads to get info for my rom which i will start after my exams are over!! I want to knw bcz i want that kernel in my rom cz its the best one out there and i m not mocking or discriminating anyone......i asked him 5 times on how to install but he always ignored and never answered so i created this thread......whats wrong galaxy y community i just asked a simple q. And u guys got to my head....and by saying someone doesnt speak good english doesnt mean i m mocking him bcz no one is perfect.....PEACE OUT:banghead:

Chill down, OP and all other guys. This isn't a place to fight. OP, i suppose you've got your answer (by hitme987). Read the third post in the merruk kernel thread by ronnieryan. It contains tuts on how to flash the kernel via Odin and CWM. Go through it.
I don't mean to lash out on you like the others, so don't take this the wrong way. You've created many threads, obviously nothing wrong in asking questions, but in most of them, you haven't thanked the users who gave you the answers. Please do it, starting with hitme987 in this one.
And best of luck for your rom!:good:

Well, the way you asked isnt a decent way to ask, you mentioned "bad english" in your post, can you quote me ANY word of Maroc-OS thats bad English? May be the thread has too much technical terms, but "bad english" is NOT a way to describe that.
The reason why he ignored your posts is that the query of yours is too SMALL, you often should try to read the whole post before commenting on the topic, the 3rd post there was very clear in the installation procedure, do your homework, no ones gonna do that for you (well, reading the topic literally doesnt take more than 10 mins)
All members of XDA and particularly in our forum always try to help out people, but we also dont encourage disrespecting others (saying his english is bad is a way of disrespecting maroc-os).
You got queries? Post it, we all here are always glad to help others, but try to be more specific about what you post and avoid flaming

Thnx and i installed it!! And i meant technical words....since i m a noob....thnx fr understanding me...all others didnt get me

Cyanogen mod supported kennels

Correct me if I am wrong but I think for kernels and roms to be used together they must be compatible with each other which galaxy s 2 kernels does the cyanogen rom supports?
Sent from my GT-I9100
If you're looking for questions and answers, a good place to start is the Q&A section.
When you get there, you'll see a thread called CyanogenMod 7 (w/ Gingerbread 2.3.5) for Galaxy SII Q&A.
Thanx for the answer I saw the post but it would be really supportive of you if you would tell me if we can instal l it with any kernel or not
Sent from my GT-I9100
No, as mentioned several times in the thread linked above, there are no custom cm7 kernels available and the ones for samsung based roms do not work. The search function is a wonderful tool by the way....

Will Hardcore release T14 kernel for JVT?

It seems t13 kernel works well on JVT.
Does anybody konw whether Hardcore will release the new kernel for JVT?
Due to my level is not enough and I try to send a private message to hardcoe, Following is his reply. F.U.R
Hi, thanks.
The K13 should work find with JVT as there is probably no change in the kernel between JVS and JVT. So, you don't need to wait for a T14 with JVT modules to use it with JVT.
In the future if I release another update, I might also update the modules from JVT. But I don't think there will be much (or any) difference.

Maybe, as u know, samsung has released the latest ROM JVT, and we're waitting for you update for this version.
Do u have plan to update the kernel for this?
Currently, we have to use t13 and it seems there is no problem for JVT.
Thanks for your hard work!

WTF? A whole new thread to ask something about another thread?
You shouldn't need permissions for anything but to post links. Try again, just click "Quote" on someone else's post in that thread.

If you have less than 10 posts you are not allowed to write in dev forums. So you can either start reasonable threads for example here or write 10 bulls**t posts to get permission.

Wasn't aware of that rule, I started on XDA posting on the general section so I guess I never experienced that problem when I started digging into dev threads.
Sorry, am i reading this right???? You HAVE a reply directly from hardcore regarding this question, and THEN you go and start a thread asking the same question?
Why?
Why? The answer is very simple: to make 10.000 useless posts....

I read a lot, and found a post I wanted to thank him in the topic of my ROM. I registered just to find out, that you need at least 1 Post to thank. Ok, no problem. The last post was someone asking a question I could answer anyways. So i clicked on reply...
Please Read: New members (those with fewer than 10 posts) are not permitted to post to development-related forums. The developer forums are intended for experienced users and developers to discuss ways to improve technical aspects related to ROMs and Software. While you may be an expert, we ask ALL users to avoid posting questions about using or installing ROMs and software in the Development Forums. To encourage this new Users can read but not post in these forums.

I can understand that, I just wanted to point that out (and do my first post to do thanks ).
It would be cool to have another possibilty. Maybe a quiz or something like that to test qualifications.

Well, I finding a bit difficult to understand your thread...I don’t see point of unlocking the Dev area unless you are in the field. As far as I am concern the dev area will not give me much, especially with the silly questions I am still to ask.
"...to test qualifications..." what is the point? Many like me turn to XDA to find an answer to a problem and likely will to have the knowledge to stand an examination.
To finalize, my idea with the thread was to provide some information, there are plenty of people going under with their phones due to stupid mistakes.
People stuffing the forum with “spam” threads should check themselves, do a full wipe and then reboot…if you know what I mean.
one additional suggestion: "[GUIDE] How to Flash ICS and Survive"
This is what I said:

This is what really happened:
I registered [because i wanted to thank a post]. I logged in (after email confirmation) and searched for the thank button, but couldn't find it. So i went to google picture search, typed in "xda thank button" (there is always at least one person making a screenshot and a arrow on it) and found http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1590190
and on page 2:
It works now - seems that one at least needs one post before "Thanks" is unlocked.
So...nothing for quiet readers like me

Why should I have made a new topic about it?
I usually search first at google, than xda (because of localisation) and when I still haven't found an answer there have already 3 hours passed and I might really have a problem/question noone else ever had before.
Forums are no chat. Every Question and their answers will be saved. Asking a question again and waiting for answers takes usually much longer than just google it.

i understand your concern,
however,
not being replied is not a valid reason to spam a thread in the development forum,
if you have questions go to Q&A, better yet
use the search function,
if nobody will reply to your concern, try to find a way yourself or maybe you did not do the steps correctly
ask yourself,
think twice before posting....
i forgot to post in the Q and A so i am sorry guys an ty for understanding deathnotice

XDA is not a place where you can just ask for something like a boss and we shall obey. Learn how to theme.. were just devs not your personal servant/boss whatever. Look for threads, learn to de/recompile apks, edit smali, change oe theme framework etc instead of asking a theme... or maybe try a rom like cm7 since it has stock gb ui...
