is your phone rooted and what rom do you have ?
The phone is not rooted it has 2.3.5 swisscom Rom
By the way I want to put the original Rom but I think its not possible without downgrading the hboot I have 2.0 hboot as I remember

Idk check in the desire HD forums and its not a good idea to root with an apk its better to do it the proper way.
