If you want to have the same rom as out of the box use the branded one...if not u can use the unbranded one.

you are prompted to stay S-OFF or revert to S-ON. Re run the option, but this time choose S-ON yes

i think s-on stays on with the later radios... im not sure tho lol and for the clockwork thing can you just update it from the rom manager app? just reflash the clockwork recovery through it.. i personally hate cwm though i prefer the RA-dream from cyan

why do you want v3 ?
you don't need it, v2 works just fine and is more compatible
S-off means security off btw and doesn't have any thing to do with the radio. It's the spl u have. Engineering spl is s-off. U don't need the ne'er version though as posted above.

You don't need the RUU to flash the bootloader. To unlock the bootloader you just need to update the hboot and if you are able or not with your current rom it depends on the Main Version you are running.
Regardless the above, you can try using the AAHK2 to gain S-OFF, Root, SuperCID and Sim unlock.

Best thing you can do is to S-OFF your terminal and then change de CID to HTC__621
I did that and restore my HTC One M9+ back to stock recovery, stock rom with OTA.

Oh no , i tried too many times to update my phone to lollipop and no result
The 1 thing that maybe be reason is s-off.
It was a mistake to bought this phone , i must bought a Z Ultra sony.
Bigger screen , powerful S800 SOC , higher resolution , slim , very better development support in XDA & many other reasons.
Relock bootloader doesn't work ?
I love the One Plus X I think it will be my next phone

You need to have the right build.prop to receive the OTA.
CID, OS build and build.prop all of them need to be matched for installation.

when i installed india RUU the phone show me 70mb update and after download finished it verify the downloaded zip and show me the system variant error that said me phone is customized ( trying with : Relocked , with Root AND without , Stock Recovery )

and it doesn't show me any update available when i try check software update.

If you are able to get super-cid, then you should be able to flash any firmware.zip from lollipop ota and then restore lollipop backup with twrp. Did you try this way?
But you must find FW for your model, mistake or experiment may result in malfunction or brick.

I get super CID and no result when i try to download 70mb pre lollipop update.
It's download complete but shows a variant error that means my phone customized. but i have relocked / no root / and have super CID .

For India OTA to install, you need -
MID = 0PFJ10000
CID = HTC__038
and untouched system files.

Impossible to modify the system image using the stock kernel. You will fail dmverity. That's why you need the eng boot.

There is a fix for flash in the thread. So you are using the PG1 eng boot? Which firmware are you currently running?

So you've also tried the Eng root boot image on that page also.?
If so it may just be an incompatibility with the current firmware.
However I haven't seen anyone else report the same issue, so maybe your issue is related to something else?
