Motorola Lapdock (for Atrix, can be modded) - $60 - Member-Found Deals

Not sure if its been posted or if anyone even cares but here you go.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAP...67&ViewItem=&item=190668198386#ht_2240wt_1396

Ordered one the last time they ran the deal, shipping didn't take long like many people say about them. It was shipped UPS Basic but seemed just as fast as ground. They sent it in a box way too big and it came open sometime during shipping according to UPS. Luckily it wasn't damaged since the Motorola packaging is pretty good.

This isn't the lapdock 100, it's the Atrix 4g lapdock.

TV-out on the Galaxy S

So, what kind of cable should I get and where can one get it ?
A bit more googling turned up this link, which seems to be the right cable: http://www.blahdvd.com/Hw/Samsung-Original-Samsung-Micro-USB-TV-Out-Cable/AATCX10CBEC/product.htm
Still in the UK though, I wonder if they're available somewhere closer to home :/
the Nokia N95 TV Out cable works perfect.
I believe we have a winner (price-wise): http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.31498
4,73 American lollerdollarz and no shipping !
instead of the 3 colours is it possible to get the HDMI connection instead??

I too am wondering if this is possible.
thanks
I don't think its possible to do HDMI out I'm afraid.
Can confirm Nokia cables work perfectly, I have an old one that I'm using.
They can be purchased cheaply on Ebay.

You don't think buy your not sure, hmmm lets hope you can do it, the 3 colors seem to me so old now.
I gotta have to go to shops look for a hdmi cable and try b4 you buy.
Can anyone else confirm this, if it works or not for sure?
The phone will only output analogue audio/video as far as I am aware. While you might be able to find a headphone to HDMI lead, the picture won't be any better.
Ordered a lead this morning from eBay, £1.94 delivered from the UK rather than H.K.

Buy in the US, charge in Europe

I'm looking to buy a WIFI Xoom in the US and want to know if the standard charger it comes with also will work with our 220 volt/50 hertz system? I understand the Xoom does not charge via USB and need assuranse I'll be able to charge it back home.
Has your charger got the 100-240V~50/60Hz electrical specification printed on it?
Just bought a Xoom in the satetes some days ago. You will be fine charging it in europe, checked it.
Someone posted a picture of the actual charger. Check here!
Works fine, I even have 2 of the chargers as i bought the dock station as well. They are multi voltage and work in the UK just fine all you need is a plug adapter.
Lordao
Thank you guys! Just what I needed to know. My Xoom is now ordered!

I ordered a WIFI only Xoom from B&H Photo and Video (www.bhphotovideo.com) on 27 March. Tracking shows i should get it today or tomorrow, can't wait!
Thanks Poisike, ordered a Xoom Wi-Fi there today too ... ;-)
If I hadn't already pre-ordered from Dixons I'd be placing my order too! Taking into account shipping and taxes though the price difference is negligable, even though I'd probably get it sooner if I ordered from the States.
No offense, but I don't think any electronic device manufactured in the past 15 years doesn't have a multi voltage charger. My laptops in 1997 were multi charger.
Besides, if you really want the device and you weren't 100% sure, you could always get a converter.

Deal Alert - USB Adapter $11.38

I am not affiliated.
I ordered one. B&H Photo-Video: ASUSBKTF101
Me Too. Was searching for them yesterday and nobody seemed to have them in the US. Hopefully we'll actually get these!
That's interesting, out of curiosity, what do you plan on using it for?

It's for people without a dock, to connect external harddrives/thumbdrives, game controllers, 3G modem etc.
Could someone link? I can't find it anywhere.

I got one from Amazon.com (through TigerDirect).
Got it in about 5 days after ordering.
It was about 2 weeks ago so I don't know about stock right now
Thanks. Ordered my this morning. Already shipped. Should be getting it on Thursday.
Bought one. Sweet. This would come in handy, especially for USB storage and stuff. Shipping was expensive so total came to about $16.
Still not bad.
Status shipped. $14.x delivered, sweet as they’re ~$30 everywhere else.
I prefer this setup, expands to everyday USB without the bulk. Really had no intentions to pick one up, but returned my unopened $99 dock last night.
Hmmm… 128GB-SDXC, or next year 128GB-MicroSDXC.
I bought one a few weeks ago, including S&H and sales tax $43
uwaaaa
Guess I shoul have waited.
Awesome I ve been needing this good catch !!
I have been using the dongle for past 2 weeks with a Seagate Goflex 500 GB drive, at 100% charge I calculate that you can view 5 hrs of video from the USB HD doing nothing else.
Really have no way of measuring how big of a hit the drive sucks down batt power on the tablet. Wish the portfolio case designers had a pouch you can slip a 2.5 drive into so it would be easier to handle.
Temporarily out of stock

Do you need to be rooted to do this?
It won't read NTFS formated drives, is that correct?

Any idea where to get it in EU?

Nope! I use a similar 750GB USB drive formatted as NTFS and it works perfectly.

Though I'll skip it for now as 20Eur is a bit insane for a USB dongle.

[Q] MHL cables to connect the Note 3 to your HDTV through HDMI...

What is the best one for me to purchase? I looked online and they vary wildly in price, and some require external power to even function.
Anyone have some recommendations?

The cable from monoprice "mhl hdmi cable for android phones and tablets" works and doesn't need a power cord, it comes with everything you need including adapters. New here, so I can't post links

Whatever you do, Don't buy the super cheap ones off Amazon. Buy the more expensive Samsung one. I've bought several cheaper ones of Amazon and they always break or have super bad quality. They have "Samsung" branded ones on Amazon for 20$ but then you run the risk of getting counterfeit. I ordered this one straight from Samsung http://m.samsung.com/us/mobile/cell-phones-accessories/ET-H10FAUWESTA over 8 months ago, and have used it across 3 devices (S3, S4, and Note 3) and haven't had any problems. Good luck!

No problem, glad I could be helpful. Another thing I would recommend is the Samsung smart dock. Found herehttp://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B009QW3TBK/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1382314772&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX110_SY165_QL70 it has a whole bunch of features. It is a USB hub, MHL adaptor, dock and headphone jack all in one. It's a bit spendy but an amazing little gadget. You can put your phone on it and just plug an HDMI cable straight into it and it works. It's pretty freaking cool.

Still getting used to the cables

OK can anybody help me . I just need to by a type-c cable to regular USB so I can have charger in my car and work i dont care about fast charging at this places just need a charger but with all this talk about incompatible cables and all I don't k ow what to get I mean i m just gonna use my old regular chargers just need the cables ... So would any type -c on amazon work

What's wrong with getting a cable directly from the Google Store. You don't have to worry about compatible and you know it will work. It's only $12.99 at the moment which is cheaper than most of the USB C Cables that are on the USB C Complaint Website that has been vetted by Benson Leung

Unfortunately, the prices went up on these since Benson gave them a thumbs up review.

I can confirm it's a nice cable. I bought one for my car. It's a little long, but the braided cover is nice. Cable is a little stiffer than a regular USB but it's pretty thick, but not quite as flexible as the OEM cables.
