These themes work with every providers release of the TP2/Rhodium in one easy .cab install GSM or CDMA It fixs any clock to a flip clock it removes the nasty orange icons from Sprint. it fixs the background for all tabs without any kind of hack has different walls for Port and Landscape. Dialer is fully skinned on all 3. Keyboards anything that could be skinned is skinned. The Home screens are fully functional on all providers nothing is not working everything looks nice and it is all one .cab per theme... no more 40 cabs to get a almost skinned interface. looks great. keep us updated. i have been havin fun with my current theme 4 awhile and will be wantin a new look soon. hopefully most everyone will be updating to 6.5 soon so it would be good to have options there.
The 6.5 update if its not rolled in with the new sense UI [TF3D] will not effect these themes at all I have my handsd on the att version that has 6.5 included and it does not look to contain Sense UI only TF3D 2.1 so it will not effect the use of my themes at all to upgrade to 6.5 will be fine. I will be maken themes for 6.5 very soon to match these themes to keep everything looking uniform. I also just updated my PRO2 to the euro offical update. It does contain the new Sense UI but not the same one from the Leo I am already working on this version to have ready for when it rolls out in the US. prolly wont be for a while so I have time. )

You must have had something installed that is messing with it. Yes it should say current selection on the tab but nothing should overlap did you have some kind of background for all tabs or something installed?
My themes have been extensivly tested on every provider on a stock install with no issues.

just hdwalls and I think, could that be the problem? also, the icon doesn't appear through the current selection window, just the text, i'll try uninstalling some apps tomorrow to see which one is causing it to act up
oh, I should also add that I'm not using a stock ROM, could possibly be the issue as well, great work though looks awesome
Yes that fact you are not on a stock rom is really hard for me to predict the behavior this is exactly why I stuck with the stock roms for all providers for building and testing. Its almost impossible for me to know how each rom chief will add or remove parts from other versions of touchflow or the sense UI I wanted a product that could be deployed to the mass's. The average user will not load custom roms. Esp on a device that works so well already with the stock rom. HD walls if it contains any manila files/ and it probably does could most deffinatly be causing wierd behavior If it contained some sort of wall for all tabs hacks My version does not run hacks to have wallpapers on all tabs.
And it's not only ROM chefs adding to this challenge, but also HTC and phone distributors themselves with the sheer amount of versions of TouchFLO plus additions from phone vendors - no standards and no documentations whatsoever. Everyone takes about how good for end users and for developers so called "open" is - here is the proof point that just the oppsite is the case.
I love Probex' work. It's design versus a mix of elements into a CAB file. And I can live with some glitches

hey probey yur boy dash just seeing what the talk is about over here on your themes.... glad i could once again be of assistance... and for the people that want it heard i have personally tested with the touch pro 2 through sprint and verizon and are now error free on both as well as the gsm version that probex tested on. all providers have been covered for and cared for accordingly. i have all three and boy oh boy am i loving them and the ladies first is off the hook as well.... great job buddy and you got the email address and the phone number if you need anything.

I have the ATT tilt 2, and it is great but i hate the stock ATT branded bloatware version. What is the best rom for it to date? I love the touch flo 3d and would like to keep it, but be able to remove all of the ATT logos in the background and everywhere else. Thanks for your help.

There are plenty of ROMs, and it's really depending on your own personal style, trial and error. I'm trying out EnergyROM from here, but you may also want to look at others in this forum.
First let me say I found the stock AT&T ROM very satisfactory. It was responsive and worked well. First I deleted much of the bloat using the wiki as a guide. But the weather clock proved too tempting and I flashed a custom ROM. I went with this one and am very satisfied:

Only thing is that for me YouTube isn't working. Others report it works for them and a few like my self have issues. You might not have the issue. I recommended you do a hard reset after the install.
I hear good things about the Energy ROM too. I like the ROM I'm using because it was less app pre-installed, so I can install them myself onto the storage card keeping my device relatively clean and with ample storage available.
Do you guys recommend HTC Sense 2.1 or 2.5?

Just my 2 cents. 2.5 has a few nice things like Twitter tab, new email tab. But the Contacts tab is ugly and the lack of landscape is a deal breaker. If I didnt want landscape I would go back to my tilt lol lol ok 2 cent spent lol

I believe they both have the weather animations. I like the contacts tab in 2.5 better but like the programs tab in 2.1.
Right now I'm using 2.5, but plan on giving 2.1 a try tonight.
Best thing is to try both and decide for yourself.
I have the energy rom, and it works great. But how do you change the background in all the tabs? I figured out the home screen, but i cant figure out how to change the background on all the other tabs in touchflow3d

There is a cab that will change all background tabs. BE WARNED!! When you change the background you lose the weather animation. Weather Animation only works with default background. You can use HD WALL to change it and not lose the animation. here is a link for 2.1 1919

not to start a flame war or anything but... do you REALLY need landscape in manila? really? it has landscape in photo and music AND just about every app (sms, email, web browser, etc.) but really? having landscape on the homescreen that important?
anyhow... you should try flashing the official clean europe WWE version first. then move up from there. im running 2.5 and its beautiful. i dont need landscape in manila. why would i? why would anyone? everything else has landscape...
btw: youtube works fine too. wifi/3g high/low quality. (and of course in landscape....)

The AT&T keyboard works without any additional cabs. Sense 2.1 supports screens in landscape mode.

Do i realy need landscape well no but sense my phone is normally on my desk woth the screen tilted it does make it awhole lot easier. mainly when i am stuck at a desk for 12 plus hours a day 6 days aweek. so to answer your question do I need it then now but will i live with out it if it is available well that is also a no. lol ok back on topic

lol ok. i wasnt trying to be rude. im guessing you're saying you wanna see the clock in landscape as that is pretty much the only thing that isnt landscape supported in 2.5. but for those that dont know, it can get confusing when people say "no landscape". 2.5 DOES have landscape. on everthing but the manila(home) screens. if you open the sms app, for example, and open the keyboard or tilt it sideways using the accelerometer it WILL go into landscape. same in web browser and every other app. not to bring up the "other" phone, but just to compare 2.5 is like the iphone os as in: homescreen stays upright no matter what but as soon as you open any app you can tilt it into landdscape. or, in the tp2, open the keyboard into landscape... so YES 2.5 has landscape. just not in home screens. (with the exception of you, how many times do most people have the keyboard out in the clock screen?)
as far as ROMS, and back on topic , if 2.1 is your cup of tea, then i say go with the official ones. pretty much as close to bug free as youre gonna get. instead of trading ATT's bloatware for someone elses. get an official one on there then install whatever app you DO use. i went from att's to the official europe WWE one from the htc website(you still have to hardspl, btw) and i gotta say: i dont even know if my tilt2 does "edge" anymore as it hasnt budge from HSPA since.. worst case is 1 or 2 bars of "H" inside buildings.. and everything works. i then went from that to 2.5 and its just beautiful. been on it since. bug free as far as i can tell... Rhodium_AF htc sense 2.5 by ark666.
IMO, the TPC ROM is the best ATT replacement. Since I got my Tilt2 I've been messing with all the ROMs and finally decided to stick with this one. It's clean, nice looking, and very stable. The only problem I see so far is that activesync shows up in the taskmanager, but that's not really a problem cause it's always running anyways.

aruppenthal is just getting started with his At&t based rom. It's still very beta but in the weeks to come it will be the rom of choice for Tilt2 owners.
If you're not wanting to test a beta I'd look to one of At0mAng's At&t roms (Sense 2.1 or 2.5)
Read both of the threads and see what looks good to you.

Sorry if this is a newbie type question but in flashing the euro rom, do you maintain US 3G?
i ended up using the energy rom, i liked it, especially the start menu at the bottom. but then i settled on the Rhodium_AF htc sense 2.5 by ark666.
i like this one the most, i will continue using it until i get the itch to change again. iused the HDwall to change the backgrounds and it looks great, it just wont do landscape when im in the htc sense 2.5, which isnt that big of a deal. Overall super happy with this phone, blows the old tilt out of the water (even though its not technically the next version of the tilt)

I'm using BlackSTONEhenge because it's really fast and not too heavy on the memory usage...

I was using cloudys rom, this is close to stock, very stable and fast, also low on memory useage.
I used to use his rom on my diamond back in the day.
Now flashed back to XannyTech Grid Leo 2.6 rom, as this rom is perfect for me. Fast, lots of tabs, eye candy, apps installed etc....
I am using XannyTech Grid Leo 2.4 as the version 2.5 and 2.6 seems to be a bit buggy to me.
I'll allow this thread to continue (for now), but I'll move it to general discussion forum as its not about rom development
As for which rom I use....see my sig ......as for why I use it, you'll just have to flash it to find out!!!

WM 6.1 today screen with launcher 79% free ram or 153 mb after reset, don't have to close anything, don't have to soft reset...maybe once a week...if that, most reliable OEM rom I've used in nearly ten years of ppc/WM use.

Occasionally google maps will have glitch where the screen doesn't refresh properly after the sip has been on there, but thats about it
XannyTech Grid Leo 2.4 is used here for the same reason as wind79, but in addition it's the only rom I've come across that can control the song playback forward and backward via volum control when the screen is turned off. XT lost something on the way from 2.4 onward. =(

I liked Miri's, but something (can't remember now what), made me look for better, tried Energyrom, but the Cookie thing messed with my volume buttons, and was a hassle to fix.
I expected Cloudyfa's to be amazing, but the radio was bad for me and I tried Miniterror on a whim.
I'm very happy. I just wish he included some of the apps (like GPS stuff and the action screen) like in the Energy ROM, then it would be perfect.
I'm planning on going to the current release, but so far, I'm problem free so I'm slow to move...

Using this one too. Tried several WM 6.5 ROMs. I do not see what do I gain with WM 6.5 but see clearly what I lose: A lot of RAM and speed.
in Topix 3.5 WM6.1 I start with 35% RAM used and with Opera opened it's on 55%, not 80% like WM 6.5.

I'm a Dutty rom fan... see my current rom in my signature. This rom seems to endure anything, it's fast, reliable and I found no bugs whatsoever! You just need to take it easy on installing apps and pay some attention to running processes and close useless ones from time to time. With this rom seem to work any Sense 2.5 mod (and I tried allot of them). Oh, I'm not a wm6.5.x follower (don't like that stupid bottom bar, and also that stupidly narrow taskbar) so I'll stick to 6.5, it's more appropriate for our Blascktone.

I was using miris until he stopped support for them.
I also had GPS problems (maybe it was my radio...) 5 seconds lock - 5 seconds no lock - really frustrating.
Reflashed with latest radio and energys latest titanium last weekend (I like my HD minimal)
It's got 90% of the apps I need (I added pocket player and SKTools), is super fast, and I get a GPS lock within seconds everywhere now - great because I work abroad (and I get lost a lot).
Miris roms served me well, but this new energy rom is even faster - very very happy with it so far.

I use the same Duttys ROM ....... really fast and stable .... I did last soft reset about 3 weeks ago and my ram load is still only 58% ....... that's why I have always used only Duttys ROM.
P.S. I have tried many ROMs myself, but none so stable.

Cell Evo Roms are all GSM sim roms rite...i like Energy Rom 2...which rom do u think is really great for battery life for u...i meant 2.5 roms...n for ringtone i use to use Htc mp3 rip software 2...i got a cool funny ringtone u might like..

Just a thought but maybe you might want to change the title of your thread. Judging by the questions you asked, you're not asking what is the best "ROM" available. You want opinions. Opinions on thinks that do not pertain to the ROM itself.
Well in my opinion I believe McCune's Cosmik Debris is the fastest ROM out there. After a clean flash, the screen rotates in like less than a second lol and EVERYTHING on it works fine.
It's super clean and if you want sense 2.1 or 2.5 there's cabs out there that install it onto your phone and you can then install the cookie home tab or what have you.
That's just my 2 cents though ;p.

Hi all I am new here.
Anyway I downloaded a rom I think was from here for my wildfire that was a gingerbread one, but I had to reinstall a stock one shortly after I cant remember why now but I did.
Anyway I cant find the original rom I downloaded and have had to put the horible cynogen mod on untill I can find the rom I liked, problem is I cant remember what it was called.
The layout was like a proper android stock layout with the proper desk clock ect, the battery meter looked like that of the Lotus mod and it was the latest version of gingerbread. The closest one I have found upto now is the Lotus Mod.
I am sure it was called somthing like carbon or carbon fibre, somthing along those lines.
Does anyone know what rom it was I cant find it

What exactly is the difference between this rom and cyanogen? Cyanogen is like the exact same. I wish I could be helpful with locating what rom you are looking for but what's the point? What's better about this mystery rom than cyanogen?
Besides, I don't recall any ROM by the name of "Carbon fibre" or something. Closest would be JokerDroid v3 Carbon Edition but that is a Sense 2.2 ROM. If there was one though, I guess it was a kang with paid apps, and hence, removed.

I finaly managed to find it it's the jockerdroid carbon mod
I have had to download the 4.1 version because they have compleatly changed the layout of the latest one with the crap clock and a crap battery meter, had the latest version kept the battery meter and clock from version 4.1 I would have downloaded that.
To me cynogen mod is rubish its got horible looking icons and athat rubish clock I like the original android desk clock with weather that is always on the screen no having to push a buton to get the clock up + it has crap weather thingy I like the original with windsreen wipers and stuff.
I am not knocking the hard work anyone puts in creating thease mods and roms it is just that I dont get on with or like the layout of cynogen mod, I supose it is personal tast but I just dont get on with it.
Your first post is completely flawed in that case. Jokerdroid is a Sense based Android 2.2 FroYo ROM. Not "Stock looking latest version of Gingerbread". And please learn a bit of respect. Simply saying "Cyanogenmod doesn't suit me" is enough. No one wants a run down of your personal likes and dislikes. (Which are worth nothing in any which way)
@OP - cm is stock android. the one you like is skinned one.

To me cynogen mod is rubish its got horible looking icons and athat rubish clock I like the original android desk clock with weather that is always on the screen no having to push a buton to get the clock up + it has crap weather thingy I like the original windsreen wipers and stuff.
I am not knocking the hard work anyone puts in creating thease mods and roms it is just that I dont get on with or like the layout of cynogen mod, I supose it is personal tast but I just dont get on with it.

Wow, he should definitely have bought an iPhone, the whole point of aosp is to promote creativity.
If you don't like the icons change em......
If you don't like the layout change it.......
If you don't like the clock/weather widget guess what.............. I have cm7 and also have that clock with the original windscreen wipers animation and stuff.
