[Q] Any Droid Band Unlock yet? - Droid Pro General

Is there any way to unlock the droid pro out for use on Mobile yet? Would it work if we were to put a custom rom on it maybe? Is there any company that sells the unlock?

Unlock Dell Streak - AT&T

hi to all i have some question...
i am ITALIAN AND LIVE IN ITALY i have buy an Dell Streak from USA with lock from AT&T..
searching on internet i have found 2 mode for unlock it.
1) Rebel SIM II
2) some site and some seller on ebay sell a code for unlock the phone..
my question are:
1) if i root the phone and install a New ROM, maybe an Froyo 2.2, using Clockwork Recovery or Nandroid, the mobile the phone will be locked?
2) if i buy a code, and i upgrade the Version of Android, the phone will be unlocked?
3) if i buy a Rebel Sim, and i upgrade the version of Android, the Rebel work again?
and last
4) there is some other method for unlock the device? maybe without buy a code or Rebel SIM?
thanks to all

Yes if you unlock with code and upgrade, device will still be unlocked. And if it does relock somehow, just re-enter the code

If a phone is unlocked by the code, it remains unlocked for life... no matter what ever you try to do.... rooting.... modding.... any thing.
So dont worry and just push ahead with modding.

depends on firmware you have and you have diff options
v1.6 & 2.1 can use Rebel sim II with v1.2 for Full Usage but cant yet upgrade to 2.2 unless use dj steve no base band update for 2.2
v2.1 & 2.2 users can user special software from home to read out the unlock code and can upgrade to new Android OS in future

[Q] Does Flashed Rom Equal Unlock?

I Flashed a TMobile Hd2 to Markinux HD eXTRA cLEAN
Now does that make it unlocked to other carriers?
Or do I still need to do something else?
Thanks ahead of time!

No it does not unlock your phone. You will need to call Tmobile and ask for unlock code. Also you can go to ebay and get unlock code from there...
No. your phone is still locked to the carrier, you have to unlock the phone with a code number, either from the carrier or buy one from online company.

the easiest way to check is to put a different sim card into it(like att) and it will ask you for sim unlock pin if it's locked, if it doesn't and get's mobile signal right away then it's unlocked.
I don't think installing CM7 ROM will unlock the phone. The best way is to call T-mobile to get the phone unlocked. It's free and super easy if you have an voice plan in good standing.

if you unlocked it when using windows then it should be permanent no matter what operating system you put on

Doesn't matter. Unlocking the phone is based on the IMEI number of the phone and not the build it is using. The IMEI number will not change no matter what build you load onto the phone.

Nokia TA-1083 (6.1 plus) free bootloader unlock

Hello,
so I have been looking for a free method to unlock the bootloader on this nokia. In the developer section there is a greyed out "unlock bootloader" option, but can't press it to work. I have registered in official HMD site and also downloaded and installed the application. It sayd that it does not work. So could please anyone tell me how to unlock the BL for free? I have been looking around for long and found some pages but those seems to be a scam.
Greetings.
There's no way to unlock the bootloader on Nokia phones for free, the only way is a paid service.

Hmm.. in this case if I would like to root my phone I do need to unlock BL, right? Who is making this service and how does it cost? What about the tutorials on the internet?

Yes you'll need to unlock bootloader to do any sort of modification to system or even flash a stock rom by yourself there's no recovery tool nothing.
You should contact @singhnsk for paid unlocks. Frankly any tutorial you'll find on the internet is fake or old those worked on Android 8 and that also you'd need unlock keys which you'll have to buy.
