What's the best type of ROM for Tattoo?

Where's option "stock ROM"? It's better for now coz of working FM-Radio. After that I would consider Fyodor AOSP 1.6.

for me, stock ROM's are way from 'the best', because, for mac user like me, they have 2 minus things, the bluetooth and usb tether (mobile network share via usb), so the choice just the Coolbits (minus bluetooth only) or Fyodor AOSP ROM v 0.6.4.2 (minus FM radio only).. but then, i choose Fyodor's bcause i need more for bluetooth working then FM Radio.
but... i like every ROM in here, i'll keep watching every ROM progress, to be honest, i'm still waiting Abyzou ROM with camera working.. it would be great!! it will be just like Fyodor's but with eclair inside... plus, it can connected to an adhoc network!!
so... what should i choose for the best ROM???

any progress on bluetooth working on your ROM? it will be fully working Donut ROM if you can make the bluetooth work..

fyodor AOSP Tattoo is the best rom I've ever tryied 4 tattoo...soo quick, stable, bug-free and with awd launcher it's very eclair-style!
The browser is so much quicker than the Abyzou's and i guess it's because this rom have been developed for a long time, compliments fyodor!
Btw I use always Abyzou rom because it's eclair...and it's good too, either with some bug...but with all the good stuff that comes with it!
IMHO if fyodor and ikxdf works together we will have the perfect rom...
P.S. I noticed also that linpack and neocore scores exactly the same in 1.6 and 2.1 rom...can somebody explain me why? In my previous Acer Liquid switching from 1.6 to 2.1 the processor performance grew a lot..!

I voted CthulhuROM 1.7.
I've tried many, and this is fastest and most bug-less, with everything working. Only thing missing is tatoo hack for write permissions.
AND it got HTC SenseUI!!!

the first three are all great.
but right at this moment Abyzou is more stable and smooth.

yeah i used it before but i dont like the white theme is there anything how to change the kernel with an simpel update.zip for example on the nexus one it works like that i saw

Best Battery & Performance For Android HD2

ok so i have been using the android port for many months now and have not found a single WM 6.5 rom and android that work perfect together creating speed and great battery life.....UNTIL NOW...i was surfing looking for a WM rom and i found a rom that does just that and works well with android.....i have been going on for 11hrs of use on my HD2 and the battery life is at 77%..with the current widget when i come back from standby im getting from 3-5 mA.....alot better then anything else i have used in the past...and im also running the radio 2.15.50.14....and hastarin 8.2.....the android im running is Mdeejay_FroYo_Sense_v._2.7_NextSense.......and the WM rom is (MultiMedia WP7 TMO 3.14 Super ROM Multi Channel TV Movies TCPMP WiFi Router XM)......You Can find the ROM here___ (http://www.mobileunderground.info/showthread.php?t=704&page=1)....the download link is at the bottom...... Mattc's 1.8, hastarin 8.4 and ChuckyROM Lite give me also a standby drain of just 3-5mA, so there must be more combos, but I think no one will ever try everything

i cant even find a download link for the rom, that page is just pack!

i did try mattc's 1.8 with hastarin 7.7 stopped using mattc's after using Mdeejay's ports....will try it later and see how it goes.....

I'm using whats in my sig, and battery life seemed to have nothing to do with the windows ROM, just some fixes & tweaks for Android I came across in various threads to get 3ma in standby.

thats what i thought at first but it really does...i have read alot of these posts and it says that the wm rom doesnt make a difference....well i have run from the original stock rom to the new htc rom and chuckyrom to the one im currently running and im telling u there is a drastic difference.....

first flashed abyss kernel
dan reboot into recovery
full wipe
install the rom!!
But a few q' s and probs.....
1)can i install speed mod kernel nw?hw will it be
2)am having problems with MTP connc, when ever i am connecting using the d-cable the fone makes a sound but nothing shows up on the computer but on the phone it shows connected in media transfer mode,i have to select media transfer mode from the fone dan unplug and re plug the usb to the comp to make it work!!
any way out??

I won't judge which ROM is better or worst..try it for yourself and feel it..I would say it's pretty stable and fast.this ROM is my daily driver

It is a totally different ROM, Rocket ROM is based on Touchwiz framework, and Paranoid on CM9. Both are IMO excellent ROMs (although I haven't tried RR in a while), so whether it's better really depends on what you need!
RR is "better" if you want the Samsung stuff, especially anything related to the stylus like SNote, taking a screenshot with stylus and so on (although alternatives do exist on the CM9 side -- memo app developped using the SPen sdk, quill/papyrus instead of SNote). I'll admit I kind of miss these features since switching to CM9, but the alternatives are getting quite good, and this represents maybe 5% of my usage of the device.
On the other hand, Paranoid is "better" in the sense it has this unique feature that allows you to run your Note as both a phone and a tablet at the same time: to me, this is how the Note needs to truly shine as a "phablet" or whatever you call it these days

Wrong Kernel Showing on Pardus HDC 7.7

Hello i correctly flashed Pardus HD Rom Classic 7.7 i followed all the instructions well. But i seem to find a problem as i know it has a dorimanx kernel but its not showing there. Here's mine:

They're just showing the extended kernel info. If you have the st tweaks app, then your on dorimanx.

These roms also have location set to high accuracy by default. That's a huge drainer. Roms also need a bit of time to settle after you flash them before they start to perform more efficiently and finally dorimanx is not the most economic kernel on its default settings imho. Try bruce or simple kernel if your not into tweaking it.

Thank you for your reply sorry im new but i already tweaked the settings and seems to be fine after i calibrated the battery will give more info soon.

I'm trying to narrow the source of the infamous 1.4 Ghz scale CPU issue. For those who are not experience this, I will explain: on Tangerine ≥10 kernel versions, the CPU won't scale over 1458 Mhz. It works just fine on stock kernel or Tangerine pre-version 10.
I've erased and format everything, even removed the SD-card, fresh install of CM 12.1 and a few custom ROM that were reported as working nice with T-Kernel ≥10... not a change, it won't go over 1.4 Ghz. I'm trying to figure out what's causing this wild behavior, it might be the device subversion. So, please post your Xperia SP version and what's your case - it's your Tangerine (versions ≥10) allows for CPU frequencies over 1458 Mhz? Thank you!

It's happening with me too

@varioventus this is an old thread but I want to write this anyway. The issue appears only when using the "clean L2 frequency table".
The difference between the label on your SP and mine (on which the issue doesn't exist) is that on the right side I see:
Model: C5303
14W18
SI: 1272-2536
There's something different in the hardware. It's the only explanation!
