Need a clean stable rom?

hi im currently using froyo darkstone series but there is a green line on the youtube camcorder not working properly.... is there any update to fix this or can you recommend one for me preferably desire ported thanks..

if your looking for a update why not look in that thread , or recommend a desire port it a big ass thread about desire hd port ...another thread wasnt honestly needed ......

correct, we already have a darkstone thread. and u can just look and run the build that fits you best.

Fix for premature flash in evo kernels

I have made a quick patch for premature flash problem in evo kernels. I have tested it with hastarin source taken from his git repository.
This is a quick patch and somebody with more knowledge in android kernels can make a better solution.
The problem is not in premature flash but in missing flash. In desire kernels camera flash is activated twice (function msm_camera_flash in msm_camera.c) first time with low intensity (MSM_CAMERA_LED_LOW) and second time, while taking a picture, with high intensity (MSM_CAMERA_LED_HIGH). In evo kernels flash is activated only once with low intensity and because of that we only see the first activation of flash/led. Maybe someone knows from where the function msm_camera_flash is called and add a second call to that function with high intensity.

it's a kernel patch. if you don't know how to use it, you'll have to wait till one of the kernal-builders will implement it. hastarin and michyprima are very quick at adopting patches.

Yes how do we use this patch file ?

First you need to know how to compile the kernel:
h__p://htc-linux.org/wiki/index.php?title=QuickDeveloperStartGuide#Kernel
Next you can apply the patch to the source you have downloaded from git and compile the kernel with, i hope, working flash.
You can use the patch with the next command (execute from your local git repository root directory)
patch -p1 < /path_to_patch/0001-Patch-for-premature-flash-missing-flash.patch

tested..work as it should be..
but we need .ko file error on wifi..

ups didn't see post above..so this is base on 7.3 no OC..

Fixed: Camera Flash and Green Image

make some copy/paste and i am lucky solved it, DEV may know the reason.
the problem is from the build.prop, this is the origin build.prop from DarkStone 3.2, he said he love making the build as stock as posible, so i guess maybe this is the reasons:
- this build.prop tell the system it is a real htc Desire
- this build.prop have some declaration about codec
just copy this to root/system and the camera work great with no more green picture when flash.
I am using MDJ FroYo Sense Revolution 1.6, tested with kernel MDJ 6.1 and Hastarin 8.4

Does anybody know which part of the build prop is responsible for the change? I want to keep my original build prop if poss too many changes.

edit build.prop and replace to:

[Q] Lewa ROM For U8800 WiFi Issue

This is a long shot, since it's fairly new, but I'll just try anyways... I just flashed LeWa's CM7-based ROM to my u8800... but my wifi won't turn on. And occasionally, I'll get a "not responding" popup box.
Anyone know a fix?

are you flash the newest rom?
maybe solved the problem.

Check what kernel is it running. If its .35 you need to use official 2.3 before it

I recommend you reflash your ROM with this ROM CM10.1 by jenkins build. This is latest build for CM10.1 and i am using this.
