put the libskia.so file into sdcard while you are in windows mobile. then boot into android download a file manager from market. then simply copy the .so file into system/lib (overwrite) and thats it.
and for arabic keyboard download one from market.

Yeah, Letters are separated for me as well
I downloaded the arabic folder and placed SYSTEM folder in my root of my SD card.
Rebooted device, yet, nothing has changed.

the right way to arabriz your Loedroid
Any easy and guaranteed way to make your device support Arabic see the below link
http://www.ce4arab.com/vb7/showthread.php?t=245275

What I got actually changed the font to a nicer one and connected the letters. There is still the oddness of the right-to-left writing but overall it works.
Step 1 - download this from ardroid.com
http://www.mediafire.com/?cfc0irjf5flkuer
Step 2 - Extract the .zip on your desktop somewhere.
Create a folder INSIDE the Android folder on your SD card and call it "root" (without the marks)
Step 3 - Take the extracted files and place them in the "root" folder. Then start up your flavor of Android. The "root" folder works because it thinks it's flashing that onto your phone.
Step 4 - Enjoy. Do not delete or move the "root" folder. Just leave it be.
Then just download an Arabic keyboard off the Market and enjoy.

First download yamato_panel.txt from Xda. then copy the file to sdcard. Execute Resco Explorer, go to your sdcard directory an select the file "move to" My device (Resco can do it, Windows mobile cant do it).

Doesn't need to be in a special place on the card, but Its helps to keep all your apk's in a folder for easy finding. Once you've copied the file to your card, you can use any file manager from the market to locate and install the apk. Don't know how much you know but .apk files are to Android what .cab files are to Windows mobile and .ipa files are to Iphone OS. Cheers.
Sounds simple enough thanks guys appreciate it!

What if you want to install it to /system/app? If you simply use a file manager to open the apk file won't it install to /cache?
To install to system do I simply adb push it or adb install it?
You can grab the keyboard you want out of/system/app from your old build and then put it into the androidapps folder of your new build and then reboot. Should work, please let me know though

Arabic Language Support in MDJ Desire Rom

Hi Guys,
I just want to inform you that, Yesterday I've been able toget the full Arabic support on my HD2 Device (Orignal SMS, Mail, Google Mail, FaceBook, Twitter, Calendar, Contacts....) the only thing I've removed the Intrenet Application and I'm using now the Delphin Browser with full Arabic Support.
I'm using MDJ Froyo Sense Revolution V 1.7
Steps to do so:
1. Download the suitable update based on your Rom from ardoid dot com
(Download the Arabization update only not the Rom it has to be from 5MB to 15MB not more than this)
2. use any root explorer application to copy the content of ".\System\fonts" and ".\system\lib" Only from the downloaded update folder.
3. Restart and Enjoy....
Notes:
1. Don't copy the content of the Framework Folder for me, When i did this, it stuck on Boot
2. for me to work, I've formatted the SD Card and start copying the MDJ Rom from scratch with a new Data Image.
3. Take full SD Card Backup Before start because you may need it.
4. Do it on your own RISK
Enjoy the Full Arabic Support.....

are you sure you were able to replace the original file? You can confirm the replacement by comparing the file size from your sd card and the file size from your resource folder. Also, better check that you don't have the same file located on Android/root/system/customize/resource
This is what I observed with some builds also, you need to do the copy process 2-3 times before file will be copied. Also, make sure system folder is R/w.

Change Stock Arabic Font

Hello guys
As we all know, Samsung uses the FlipFont library in system fonts, which provides a new way of font customizations. But in the same time, this library does not give us the benefit of having two desired fonts together (unless we build our custom font). Samsung has also replaced the stock Android ICS Arabic font with an ugly looking font type.
Samsung uses a system Arabic font stored within "/system/fonts" folder under the name of "GS45_Arab_AndroidOS" as their stock Arabic font, which is the classical font in even older Samsung phones.
Here, I am posting this thread to those people who would like to install their custom "English FlipFont" whether from the market or internet and in the same time want a permanent good Arabic font. This procedure needs root!
1- Choose a TTF font that you would like to use as Arabic font. In this tutorial, I have used the "Adobe Arabic" font. You can find it in the attachments.
2- Rename this file into "GS45_Arab_AndroidOS.ttf".
3- Copy this font into your mobile SD Card (whether internal or external).
4- Using a root explorer on the device, navigate to the font. Copy the font.
5- Navigate now to "/system/fonts" and paste the font there.
6- Fix file permissions into "rw-r--r--".
7- Reboot your device.
8- Enjoy!
Some TTF fonts may fail. If you have an Open-Type Font (OTF), you may use an online font converter to convert it to TTF.
Screenshots are provided.
I hope I could help

i followed all the steps with the included font but the Original file seems to be read only so it can't be replaced. What i did is:
1. unpack the rom.zip
2. put the ttf in the fonts folder (system - fonts) -as you mentioned it has to be renamed into "GS45_Arab_AndroidOS.ttf"-
3. zipped it again.
4. flashed the rom

I have actually applied all the steps mentioned by tweetatoo to install a new font instead of the default one shipped on Samsung Galaxy Note 2. In fact I couldn't paste the new font in /fonts/ directory since it is a system file that cannot be changed. I tried to change permissions of font directory, but still in vain. Therefore, pasting the new font which has the same name of the old one, could not be completed and no replacement of the old font with the new one has taken place.
Do you have any idea how I can allow pasting the new font in /fonts/ directory?
Many thanks.

Getting into a protected system folder does not need root actually. Any folder explorer can reach the topmost folder in the system. But writing to a system folder requires root permissions.
Use this root explorer: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.speedsoftware.rootexplorer&hl=en
Google for downloadable versions
Open this program, copy the font file, then navigate to /system/fonts/ folder. After that, you will find on the top side of the screen "Mount R/W". Click on it and paste now.
After that, reboot and enjoy

This is supposed to work on your device, since it supports Arabic natively. Just locate the Arabic font used by your LG device. Personally, I am a Samsung professional, and not an LG professional. Sorry

After replacing the font, it is better to fix permissions back into rw-r--r-- instead of the rw-rw-rw. Then, reboot your phone
The rectangles should now appear good. In case the problem persists:
1- Try to make your phone language "English".
2- Reboot the phone.
3- Replace the font again and fix permissions.
4- Reboot again.
Arabic should now work perfectly.
Logically, even if you use Galaxy S 4, this method shall work perfectly, since the method uses a universal Android trick instead of the FlipFont library.

Hi, Will this solution work with the galaxy tab 3.8.0 ?
i followed your steps exactly. Arabic is still showing on my device but the problem is not in the font, it's in the size of the font.
is this supposed to be solved with the replacement of the font? or the size has nothing to do with the font?
