Now i can download several apps from the Playnow application!

Updated for Spain too but I cannot do anything (like before the update)

I don't have Play Now, I have urMusic which I can't use because I am not a Rogers customer.
Need to debrand but when I do I lose my MLB at bat 2010 in the market.

Or you can just slide upp app window, scroll down to P and click the angled white box with a green arrow pointing right inside.

same here,i dnt have playnow on my device
I called Ericcson and asked, and they told me that canada does not have play now, and will not get it any time in the forseeable future

in the downloads section of the market theres on the top apps, games, downloads.... if this was serious then go to youtube and start watching videos of the phone

it only shows me a 5 entries, on my G1 (1.5) it showed me everything.

its only gonna show you youre paid apps, it wont show you your old free apps cause your phone is differant

its not showing me everything though, i have purchased Openhome and it doesnt appear on the list, but searching for it shows that i have purchased it. I went to google checkout and that shows a full list.

I got to know that Microsoft has launched new version of MarketPlace which allows
1. Install softwares on Storage Card.
2. Choose different locations.

Hi,
Its not updating my marketplace.
Go to settings, and applications. Remove marketplace, then launch it using the icon in the Windows menu. Should reinstall the new updated version.

No problem, I was getting a little confused too! Thanks for the heads up. Only problem i'm having is that I have nowhere near as many apps when selecting the US Marketplace as the guy in the video.

Same here. I have more apps in the UK store than the US store.
Only showing 76 apps in the US marketplace for me....this is some bull****!
You are right. Marketplace is not having enough apps and very few free apps.
My friend with iphone keep on teasing me, they have app for every damn thing.. Now its diverting my mind towards iphone....

anyone notice its a bit tricky when trying to checkmark multiple messages to delete? a lot of the time it'll register a hit to open the message rather than checkmark

check in the downloads section of the market it should say "update available" if you don't have the latest version
I did that...I have version 1.1.3, but the market is version 1.2...yet it does not say update available, in fact Facebook does not show up in my Downloads section because it was installed on my phone when I got it a week ago.
It's there. It was just posted a bit ago.
Think you have to have installed it from the market before it'll inform you about an update.

Well it is not in my Downloads and I think I know the reason. I did not download the app. The app was pre-installed and not downloaded. So if I go into the market, into Downloads, there is no Facebook. I guess I have to install it from the market to get the update.
Makes me glad Google is taking apps out of the OS in the future.

Hmm... even though it came pre-installed, it still shows up in my Downloads. Applications like Google Voice and Google Maps, which were all pre-installed when I got my phone, all shows up in my Downloads. Weird.
that is weird. None of those are in my Downloads. I only have those apps I have installed. Maybe I am doing something wrong?

I have a hong kong xperia x10 (I dont think its branded) and i don't have Playnow. Is there a way to get Playnow on my phone?
me too does'nt have playnow and i'm also in HK. Why is HK xperia dont have any playnow? and it always says that your phone has already have the latest software, when i try to update it, Am i stuck to R1FA014. can someone enlighten me on this. btw my phone is also not branded.

hoping that I'm not stating the obvious here.. have you all gone into mediascape, press the Menu hard button, select "music home settings"; select show on-line service.. then when you come back out of MS it will be showing at the bottom of the music home screen.

PlayNow is not on Canadian Rogers X10a either If I activate the online service under Mediascape I got some stupid Rogers' urMusic service
the only thing i get when i press the menu is get album artwork.

wont install as an APK!
ERROR PARSING PACKAGE DATA (btw for reference it does not say install it says uninstall launch) its as though its installed but corrupted you cannot install nor uninstall
UPDATE got it working use OI file manager and then it installs yay!

i believe it is because there is no play now online store in your current market for xperia x10 yet. This happens to me in US. Only a few free apps and games. no others stuffs are available.

yeah, i figured after trying out the PlayNow exported from the taiwanese firmware in which they have music available. thanks anyways!
I am in Germany and got the update to 3.1 om my US WIFI
After the update:
+ Books: does not work anymore. Can read one of the three books, two other say: "failure when trying to open the book"
+ Books: shop does not work anymore, says "https:market.android.com/books" is unknown URL
+ Movie Studio Icon is broken, says "app not installed", app under myapps still works, fix: reinstall on home screen.
+ no Movie access in market at all
+ no sign of Google Music at all
Thats it so far

Backup everything and do a factory reset....
All these apps are only available in US, so this is not a bug.

I'd call it a bug anyway.
Could not recreate first Books issue. Movie studio issue is well known here, I think. Easy fix.
Rest are because we are not in USA.

Search for BooksTablet.apk and install it using ES File Explorer, then Uninstall updates. This worked for me.
The movie rental is a known issue by Google. The posted that it is not available at the moment for the Xoom Wi-Fi, even in US.
