I flashed my HD2 the other day and forgot to backup my dictionary.
I installed an English rom and it is a big hustle to manualy input every single world.
is anyone kind enough to copy their Norwegian dictionary and send it to me?
it is three files located in My Device;
\Windows\eT9Cdb.Cdb
\Windows\eT9Rudb.Rdb
\Windows\eT9AsDb.Adb
I could help but need advice how to copy them. Find them on the phone but when connected through PC and Explorer, the Windows folder does not show up...

Uncheck Hide System files (or something like that) in explorer's View settings. Now the Windows folder will show up.

You'll have to check the option show all files like Dracoster said,
and mark those 3 files and copy them to you'r memory card, then you can plug you device to you'r computer
I now have copied the three files to my storage card and see them there when checking the phone.
When connected to the PC and using explorer from there however, I only see the eT9Cdb-file. The two other files on the card dont show up, although the phone-explorer confirm they are there. I also have ticked the Show hiden files and folders...??
Any further advice?

Hei Tunai - tks for input that did not help me much - at least I did not see the solution to my problem looking for some "hidden" fields.
If you Audin PM me your phone or so - you could maybe direct me as to how to "see" the files and then send them to you..

I have the WWE -ROM installed on my Leo, and I've just followed the steps in link above and got Norwegian XT9 without any issues.

This worked out for me. Did you do a Soft-Reset?
yes, did a soft reset, but nothing worked. have tried it 3 times.

I have an English version of the Imate, but I am dutch. Does anybody know if it is possible to import a dutch T9 dictionary from another phone or something and use it on my Imate?

i've donwloaded some files and made some testing, but no way to get it.
renamed the siemens t9 files name to T9(language)Ldb.lbd (that's the way they are in the windows folder) but even after soft reset they don't appear.
Looked at registry but i'm not a expert.
The files are named T9EnglishLdb.dll
But even if you replace those files, it wont work.
Probably because it has more info than just a simple LDB database.
There should be a tool for this!!

I found a list of dutch words on the web and inserted them into the intellipad.udb file. Not bad as a workaround until we have a real t9 database I think. Takes a few seconds to load the first time it is opened.
Is this udb file the library that holds the self-added words?

Should I just copy it to the Windows folder, thereby overwriting the existing intellipad.udb file, or should I in some way insert it in the exisiting file on my Compact? If yes, how? I would like to be able to simultaneously use English and Dutch T9. So is your file an English list + extra Dutch words, or only a Dutch library?

Anyone knows what is the Registry hack that will permit me to change the default Camra Themes to be read directly from the Storage Card. I have plenty of themese (like around 2 MB) and I do not want to put them on the main memory. One more thing I know how to change the directory from the camera options but once u close and relaunch the Camera app it goes back to the My Documents\Templates folder.

Yes sure... I was messing with my JAM the other day.. and I got it to work
just add these two values and u r done 8)
these values will change the default location from My Documents to Storage ( not Storage Card).... coz that's what I use.
if u wish to change it to Storage Card.. just edit the values..
Basically.. u can choose browse from the picture theme menu in the Camera Mode... and Choose the specific Folder....
Using the browse options was OK... But after I upgraded my JAM to 1.11...
it did not work at all... so I had to change it from the registry all by my self :wink:
BTW... could u give a link to the website u got these themes from???

after installed it on my t-mobile mda n' passed several difficult trouble on radiostack, this os such a great thing that i expect to figure on my pda. but, later i realized that the os didn't fit my expectation when its began to erase my files on the sdcard 'misteriously'.
a thing that make me become so so bad, the size of files doesn't match with the used area on the card, what kind of trouble is this? they erased my files but the space didn't change..
is there any idea to get my files back before i'm goin' to format it?
how to avoid it in the future?

The only way to avoid it is to write protect the memory card by moving the slider switch to lock position.

Only SDCard has a write protect slider, and U'r using MMC not SDCard.
I have a same problem before, my SDCard erased, it happened twice, and I run the SD_Fix registry file, since 2 months this problem never happen any more.
How do I run this file?

Sorry, I forgot to advise you to install Registry Editor Program on your PPC first. (e.g. PHM Reg edit)

it's quite good, i alo thought that but i had installed "regeditce" prog so the file doesn't associate .
I'd installed the PHM as u mentioned above and ran the SD_fix but it didn't react (install or import..ect), it just opened the PHM program. Hence, i dont know whether it's imported to the registry or not now i'm waiting and hope the problem will be solved.

Unfortunately, it doesn't work well, after running that file, i installed two programs on storage card (HandMap and E-dictionary). Then I tried to soft reset and my MMc card was erased. oh, what can i do now ?

It uses standard windows icons...
You can find *.ico files all over internet for windows, aslong as you use 32x32 and 48x48 for animated icon then its easy.
Tabs must be big enough for icons..

it would be nice to be able to use icon .dll files. currently i have an icons.dll that has a bunch of icons inside that i used for cLaunch. This program will only see the first icon. is there a way to make it use any of the other icons in the file?

Anyone having a problem with it freezing when it starts up? It happens to me when I have a voicemail. The active sync would open and then I can't do anything. I ended up hard reseting my phone to be able to run my phone again. I like this program. I just don't want to keeping hard reseting my phone everytime I get a voicemail and soft reseting before I clear it.

Anyone buy the full version yet? I tried this program and loved it, so I bought it from Handango.com. The registration seemed to work, but at some point I got "not activated" all over the screen. I went back into the configure program, and the registration code went back to all 0's. I've since been flashing a few different rom's (trying to find the best 6.1 for my 8525) so I haven't reloaded it yet. Hopefully it was a freak thing, and it'll work once I reload it.

If your talking about the stock plug ins then they aren't really plug ins. I have yet to find a 3rd party software that hey can be used with.

I guess he wanted to say if it was possible to chose Calendar and Tasks as a tab. I really don't know this isn't possible - it simply doesn't show in the plugins list

I had the same problem when i first installed it, phone freezes then activesync opens and the phone stops to respond, had to hard reset too .
I made sure that all active today plugins are not dsiplayed ( settings,today, uncheck them ) then installed ultimatelauncher, loaded those plugins into seperate ultimatelauncher tabs. been working fine so far, I had no problems ,been two days now .
For the *.ico files, i converted few *.tga icons to *.ico , ultimatelauncher would see them but won't load them .. so i figured it could be the size of the icon, a bit big for ultimatelauncher ( 40 X 40 ) .. will try with smaller icons later .
Edit : tried with ( 16 X 16 ) icons and still ultimatelauncher won't load them

I have read that amongst other things it will allow me to not have sim contacts listed as well as phone contacts, as well as improve the volume of incoming calls, so I am keen to try it out, as long as there is absolutely NO RISK FACTOR (I can make do without it!).
2. HOW DO I INSTALL IT? I save it to my desktop. It's a zip file which when opened presents me with the 3 files "HTcustom.000", "ooocab90.001", and "setup.xml". What do I do now???

If it is .cab so just copy it to your PDA and install it there.. don't extract the .cab

It's not a zip, it's a cab, just that you have cab files associated with your archiver. Just copy the file to the device and tap it.

Doesn't matter for copying, install it to your device though!
I've installed it, it did warn me that it may not work with Windows Mobile 6.1, and it seems it doesn't. Doesn't work on my device anyway, whatever the reason...
When I attempt to select any tweaks and save it, it just says error and asks me to quit the program! I'll contact Shadowmite and see if there is a WM6.1 version.
All I really want is to NOT have SIM contacts appear as well as phone contacts (so suprised there is not an option.. what's the point in having duplicates???)
Also, apparently there is a fix out there that improves the volume of incoming calls?
Advice anyone?

It must have something to do with Framework. Do you have it installed?
As for the sound issue, do you have WOW SRS installed? If not, what's your ROM version?
