I have a Typhoon MyGuide 3500 mobile pocket pc, and looking for a ROM image for this device with windows mobile 5 or 6. I have a Windows Mobile 5 version here. Can this be flashed but nirgens. Can someone tell me where I have a rom image matches so bad and how can I get this flash? I would like the Windows Mobile 2003 to Windows Mobile 5 can replace but on the side typhoon also no support for this device. I hope someone here can help me. Thanks to all who participate

find a windows mobile 6.1 rom that u want to put on the phone (u can look in the rom development forum on this website)...then follow this video:

with a very old version of Windows Mobile - like Pocket PC 2002 / Windows
Mobile 2003 instead of the original Windows Mobile 6 Pro.

Well, i can't see the benefits in it,
but you would have to cook your own ROM.
If you're able to do so it may work.

i flashed my exec with windows mobile 6.1 vanilla but the device randomly crashes., mainly when using the camera or watching tv series from sd card
was wondering if would probably be better to use a lite version of 6.1 rom what's your thoughts on this, or does anyone have a decent fast 6.1 rom that i can try out stable please., not sure if 6.5 would work properly on the exec as not tried that yet
man how did you flash your xda exec? I'm getting my old vista laptop to flash tomal's 6.1 rom but i cant find the drivers needed for 32 bit vista. if you help me with this i can test my 6.1 rom for you

i used activesync 4.5 to connect to windows xp then mitty to wipe the device prior to flashing wasn't too hard to do., not sure how can share the files., if you have a idea on how i can help with sharing them if helps
