Hi,
i am using windows vista home premium and i want to sync my contacts with my htc 3400i and windows mail or any other tool available with detailed contact like outlook.
Is there any option available i can sync my contacts with photo, b'day, anniversary, business and home details etc etc ?
i have arround 200+ contacts as vcf and wish to transfer to my htc but dont find option to do it.

Hello, I am using Vista Windows Mail and I have imported all my contacts to it´s address book (Windows Contacts). The problem now is how to send those contacts to the Wizard. When I syncronize it doesn´t send any of the Windows Mail / Windows COntacts to the device! help please
Install Outlook, then ActiveSync/WMDC can sync your contacts to Wizard.
Man I have never seen a worst program than Outlook! I can´t understand how it handles data...

I don't get the contacts synched with my pc.
Active Sync says its synching contacts. But when
I'm opening Outlook Express it won't show any of them.
Is there a posibility to download the Adress-Database
directly?

Contacts will not be sync with Outlook Express.... Do you have MS Outlook installed, if yes then it will available there....

So I've .VCF file for my contacts and I tried to sync them with outlook 2010 on my windows 7 but it doesn't sync the contacts or I can't click the contacts on the mobile device center, is there any other way to do it, I don't wanna pay for app like vcard expert or anything like that..

I'm using my windows mobile devices center on my computer at work to synchronize my emails and calendar with my htc touch hd.
However, I would like to synchronize my contacts with my personal computer. My contacts are stored in outlook 2010. It's hard to believe such a common task cannot be achieved using activesync/wmdc... and I cannot find another tool !
That's why I'm asking for some help here .

It's a small programm for WM and is saves your contacts, messages, call logs, appointments etc. File with that data you can save on a Storage and Backup anytime.

The Optimus 7 will only support the Syncing of outlook contacts through an Internet Exchange account.
The phone no longer uses Activesync (thank god) to sync to your PC, so syncing with a local Outlook install will not work.
There is a MSKB on how to import your contacts (a one-time deal) here though, although I have not tried it: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2454811
Thanks man, that saved me a lot of time. I started to sweat when i saw there is no way of directly syncing contacts from outlook to phone.
