two days ago i looked for the pixel browser/viewer here. found lot of info, mostly old and lots of "pity, that stop the development".
today i was browsing thru **** edited out by Menneisyys **** and i found it. it's AMAZING! the real zoom/pan/viewer all you evr dreamt to have for browsing and viewing and much more...
here u have it in all his splendor.

i think it's a freeware. i don't see any crack or serial on it.

I dont get it isnt this the same 1.0.5 version people are complaining about right now?

1.0.5 can handle some sites that 1.0.0 cant, but the opposite is also true. I havent seen any huge benefit in 0.5.
As far as it being freeware, that is laughable! It isnt protected, true, but Picsel certianly doesnt want it floating around. It is hilarious that the original poster is using the advertisment from Picsel's own site as incentive to download an illegitimate copy.
Anyway, since this software isnt for sale (it is strictly a program included on device ROMs), I think the forum mods are allowing these kinds of links to exist until Picsel complains. Which they do, with annoying perserverance.
Anyway, it is an amazing browser, so get it while you can. Perhaps if enough people pirate it Picsel will wake up and put it on sale.

Also, I am going to take this chance to beg again for anyone who has access to the Japanese langauge pack for this program to post or point to it.

But, you yourself said that you got it from a WAREZ site, and you put the link in the thread, that's a big no no. This will be locked soon.

understand the rules don't apply them blindly: warez means cracked/illegal soft. this one it is NOT illegal. it is from a warez site (don't go there!!!!!!! they eat ppll!!) 317 views! there is hope! hehehehe..
stop being so prudes and enjoy it. is for free and works wonderful. i played with it for hours in my trinity. it is fast, and very versatile. look what it can do for the e-mail. btw, it is not 1.05. this was a mistake of the original poster. you have (ooops, i have 'cose you still debate if it warez or not) 1.0.0 build 2319.

While it's an OEM app, it's still prohibited to distribute it. XDA-Devs has received several threats from the developers of Picsel.
All in all: no links to Picsel.

That particular Warez site seems to make very good use of this forum, all the cool apps from here are there, without any permissions I imagine. It is a nice browser however which having tested I would consider buying if they sold it. Since they don't sell the app. they don't lose any revenue from people ripping it off, or am I missing something?

I agree they don't need to protect their stuff because they don't sell it (this is how a lot of other OEM's act: they at least tolerate the community's distributing their ripped versions). Picsel, owever, is a (rare) exception.

all sites with freeware are full with apps from here. the positive thing is that all (warez included) give the credit to this forum.
there was a time when sites SOLD the stuff they downloaded from here.
i wish to have the money to hire a few of the geniuses that are lurching here.
we could make some serious $$$$!
anyway, i have to say that taking an OS and modifying/cooking.....well it is not 100% "something new". our cookers are not even ready to share before they cook and put their name on it. so...."who ever is pure let be the first to throw the stone".....

It's also, technically, software piracy. You're releasing software you have no right too. You may not be charging, and it may be free anyway, but that doesn't mean you can edit it and do what you want to it.

So if it is normal to hack any version of Windows Mobile, which is a commercial software, why it is a piracy to improve a buggy and free software?
If you do not want to use this version, please do not disturb others. Its your choice to use or not.

One of the program devs, Dorothyg07, asked that he remove it. When he posted it on the official forums, it was removed. More than sufficient justification to class it as piracy.
Last time I checked, the XDA-Developers forum did not condone warez; and have removed stuff in the past.

well this is not WAREZ..last time i checked the software was termed as Freeware..tell me one thing..Which mobile windows are u using..are u using the default windows Which came with ur ppc..if not than thats also called PIRACY in ur defination..why are u using other roms than the default..efsane has done a very great job..even his translated OS's are good

I'm using the factory shipped ROM on my Vario III. And it doesn't matter if it's free or not. PointUI own the software, and are the ONLY ones who can legally distribute it unless THEY grant permission. They haven't; ergo it's warez.

just a little post to said that i support efsane in this forum the htc dev and samsung dev and windows are hack to change language or other thing and there is no probleme for all the xda forum user .

I just find it incredibly hypocritical that in a site where people hack into and modify other's intellectual property to much herald, a guy who translated words gets slammed for copyright protection. Hacked roms, ripped software, modified programs and libraries, copied ideas and concepts galore, but this- oh no. Maybe if it was a translation of a korean utility into english, we would be thanking the guy for his service, for making a previously inaccessible tool available.

A tad OTT dude.
Warez isnt exactly a bonafide term anyway, theres MANY meanings of warez.
Since the PointUI devs have asked for it to be removed (although i aint seen that particular thread) then fair enough but unless they file a request here then i dont see it as much of a big deal as us modifying the WM2k3/5/6 builds we use on this site.
Its not as if we/us on here have Microsoft's permission to distribute modified versions of WM, and it makes no difference that MS happens to be a huge organisation compared to the PointUI guys.....the principle is the same.

Infact efsane just translated the lang. in this GREAT software, he did'nt changed or removed anything beside makin it more easy 2 POint UI to arrive to more users (in this case turkish users)....

Are there any monetary losses here? Any disassembled code floating around? I don't think so. PointUI, you and their fan club should be grateful for the FREE viral marketing efsane's hard work is providing. At the very least you should STFU.

Wm 6.1 Thought?

This may be a really idiotic question but in my mind it really makes sense. But, I only know some basic things about programming and things of that nature, and not to much about ROM's. But anyway, here goes.
I called Htc earlier today, as I do every week to see if there was any new news on a release date for the very , very elusive Official Windows Mobile 6.1 upgrade for my Htc Touch/Vougue, from Alltel. Knowing that Alltel is usually one of the last carriers to get things done,
I tried to get a release date from him with no prevail. But he mentioned that Wm6.1 had already been released in a few other countries(Im in the US), which Im sure quite a few of you knew, but I did not. I had actually never heard this, or read about it here, so I called back and brought it up to another tech and he said the same thing, so I am assuming it's true. If they have misled me , then I'm extremely sorry for the waste of space.
Now I dont know what countries he's talking about, no clue actually ,but heres my thought. If it has already been released in an official form from some overseas cell provider, why couldn't someone download the ROM, and somehow add language support for other countries? Couldn't they just remove the Radio portion of the ROM and release an actual wm6.1 ROM.
Now, like I said , I know nothing or ROM's other than what Ive read here over the past few months, and only what little Ive understood of that. But there are Wm6.1 threads everywhere , of people wanting a stock/orig version, so this just crossed my mind. Maybe that where these custom 6.1 roms on here come from? Im not sure. But its just a thought. Anyone care to correct me or comment? Dont be harsh though, I seriously didn't know if this was possible, and thought if it was, why hasnt it been done. Thanks guys.

i think wm6.1 roms are available here for a long time..

It's been realesed in various countries outside of the US most likely because of a higher demand, and HTC operates from Taiwan. The update itself is per carrier and country.

Try the "Upgrading, Modifying and Unlocking" section, or the section dedicated to your phone, and you might find what your looking for.
I too am suprised to see curious george hasn't told you to stop thinking, maybe he's been kidnapped or something?

for the first, respect my work or leave out my threads. this is not the level that i like it
different ROM, different people. know you what a lot of free time you need to make a ROM? if you do not like-then flash a another ROM.

That statement is coming from a user who had never ever flashed a single rom before (I presume!)
It was his big mistake because he tried a ROM which he din't know if he would like!!
Piperetti - Mirolg, has got more than 14 roms in this forum - so I would say, using any one of his rom - is good!
Same goes to the razwanwin95 who made a comment of 'bad bad mistake'!! - mate, if there is something wrong with the ROM, you are welcome to share the feedback. mirolg is a human, not god - just in case you din't realise this. He is not going to come and read your mind when you post ONE, just ONE line about his ROM.
REMEMBER:
a) Not all ROMs made here are going to be the way you want it.
b) These ROMs are made by someone who thinks they will be beneficial to other and hence THEY decide to share THEIR work with EVERYONE, not just YOU.
c) They share it for F-R-E-E
d) You are not forced to use any ROMs, it is your choice.
e) ALL the technical aspects of the ROM are listed in 1st posts, if not, you can always PM and get more info that you might want to know BEFORE flashing the ROM.
If you don't like a ROM - Sorry your tastes don't match to the creator of ROM - They say even two twins are not the same
If you think it's a big big mistake - LEARN FROM IT and stick with stock roms that you get on your phone - you should realise you can't handle surprises.
In short, mirolg is a legend. you try things at your own risk. mirolg can't cook 300,000,000 ROMS - one for taste of each user. period.

Yeh! totally agree. He should be grateful that there are ROMs to use for free; not be ungrateful and selfish about it. If he has a problem, he should try and explain to the cook in a nice manner.
Anyway, on the side note, i finally have some free time today, i'm trying the ROM! Big thanks Miro!

This rom is the best i ever tried. At least for my needs. And its so fast...which is probably a feature everyone likes

uuu yeah, i get it on friday. is very, very well maintained-like "New" not a scratch, nowhere now over "finish" sense2019

yes, but the repair not so easy, but now i have time for this! ....next week i get a htc hd desire from my company- but android, and galaxy tab, too is good and fast- but much, much more fun i have with different ROMs and UIs on my tg01

I would hold off on doing that if you plan on using WP7 on the HD2, apparently Windows Genuine Phone won't work, so you won't have access to most "features"...

Maybe, maybe not.... as we don't have access to the latest build, how do we know what works or doesn't? All we know is that "a previous build" didn't work.

Ok.. Seems my first warning wasn't enough. This is not the place to discuss illegal activities such as cracking pvk on WP7. I'm not going to deny that it is being done but it is surely going to create a problem at some point down the road. Is this for real. Nothing has been said on XDA about the rom being release soon. More news on DFT forum about the excitement brewing about the release. Can't wait and thanks for all the hard work DFT!!!!

Yes everyone is exciting on DFT. For some reasons (don't know why) they believe WP7 will be out in some hours.
As I understand this screenshot was found on a microbloging client from DFT.
But I can't take it bigger because I can't log on DFT Forum.
Edit: Is the DFT Forum accessible now for you? because it said to me "Bad Request - Invalid Hostname", it was online 10 min ago
