I am in the UK using above phone. Can I setup and use PTT ? How does it work how can I do it ? My Wife has an MDA Compact III (standard wm5) can she use PTT as well ? I am assuming I could use it to talk to her then ?

Is there anybody out ther who has already experience with unlocking the new XDA / MDA / QTEK device (T-Mobile version is called the MDA COMPACT) please let me know becourse I am about to by this new device but don't want to be pushed into another SIM/ provider contract.

Got a german MDA pro to Ukraine. Tried standard procedure / local GSM operator- UMC/ of GPRS setting - didn't work, althoug for Qtek 9090 it did! Then flashed device to jasjar - same result.
Any ideas? :roll:

It's a magician (compact) with WM2005 from what I understand. I could be, and normally am, horribly wrong so please please double check before doing anything ROM-wise!

I currently have a blackberry on O2. I am looking toupgrade to XDA Exec (o2) or MDA Pro. XDA Exec says its Windows 5 and pushemil.
MDA pro (which seems the same phione as XDA Exec) doesn't. Does this mean that I won't get my exchange emails with MDA Pro.
MDA Pro seems a good bet as it has the unlimited walk and surf tarif. O2 data on the otherhand is expensive.
Any help appreciated.

T-Mobile are yet to release the ROM upgrade which enables support of push e-mail. I have the XDA myself, but I believe it is possible to the iMate or QTek rom with the MDA. Have a search through the forum.
I just got an MDA II but I can't find the wi-fi. I know the O2 XDA II has it, so I can only assume the MDA II has it, too! I found an MDA II on eBay that says it has built in wi-fi but I am not able to contact the seller. Maybe I need a different ROM?
