anyone has encountered this? I am using a atom exec now and it seems something is affecting outgoing call and also my ability to send out text messages. To reset this, i have to do a soft reset and somethings it is just inconvenient. Thanks.
GPRS affecting SMS and ....
I had the same problem on my Qtek S200 (Prophet).
This problem was solved with the latest update. So it seems to be a known issue.

I own a QTEK 2020 and is satisfied with the functionality of it. However there are one minor glitch and thats the problem to use certain prefix to make the telephone company (TeliaSonera) bill the right account (*140# = Privat, *141#=Work1 etc). When i try to make a phone using the prefix for example *140#07074876547 (just a dummy) I get the message "Bad String" . I suppose this is not a QTEK problem but rather a PC2003 mobile problem. Anyway, is there somebody out there that have a solution to my problem.

Hi, it seems nobody found a solution to this? We just boght a Qtek 9090 and this is more than a minor glitch to us. It's major ANyone know anything about this?
I am using a Qtek 9000 and have 4 pop mail boxes configured + the SMS, MMS, and A/S (which I don;t sync with desktop). Every now & then the pop boxes would vanish, and if I tried to set them up again using the same name, system would say name in use, but the mail boxes are no where to be found (except they show up in the PMail DB). I have done hard reset and this has happened again. Anyone know what may be causing this behavior?
I am running similar setup on a 9100 and honestly do not see the same amount of instability as well as rapid memory leak as I am experiencing on the 9000.
Delivered mine back today.
Forgot Mail, Gprs user/pass, Wlan settings on almost every soft reset.
Upgraded to the JasJar rom, diden't help.
The same as you with the mail name "Already in use".
I've the same experience and hope anybody can help me to delete those "Ghost Email A/C"! Thanks!!

i bought 4 qtek 9000
i have the same problem with email on all of them: on soft reset all mailboxex disappear. i can make them again, no error message but at the next soft reset .... it's happening again.

Got my Qtek 9000 back from service.
They installed a new Motherboard, and no info has gone missing yet (crossing my fingers here), hope it stays that way.

I didn't want to post this issue till it was confirmed (at least for me). If it happens to receive SMS while your PDA is doing the scheduled sync through GPRS, you will hear the notification sound but the PDA will hang and you will loose the SMS itself.
Has anyone experienced this before ? any clue or a workaround ?
Yes, I have occured with that problem sometime with my O2 Exec 2
However, I think that it may happen by chance that you are syncronizing you E-Mail part.
After I cancelled the syncronization of mail, it turned out to be fine.
I do think that all of the ROMs(exec, JJ, SPV ) need updates and currently they are not stable..
Anyhow, I have the patient hehe

This problem is on my mda compact II but it is basically the same software as the wizard.
I struggle to send or receive mms photo messages above 320x240. My phone tries many times but really struggles. 320x240 is fine every time.
The problem is I can't dictate what size other people send me.
Does anyone else have this problem or a cure.

since yesterday my Prophet don´t receive a SMS. I could send a SMS but not receive one.
My O2 Message Number is correct and after a Hardreset it is still the same. Has anyone the same problem or a solution for me?

Did you talk to your service provider? It's highly unlikely that it has to do with your device.
actually it happened to me sometimes that I receive messages late or after I reset the radio (through comm. manager) or of course after soft-resetting.
