Memory Questions - JASJAR, XDA Exec, MDA Pro General

Could someone explain the ROM/RAM situation for me please?
I currently use a XDA2 and have an application that needs a 30Mb FONT file which I installed to MyDevice/Windows/Font.
As I uderstand it the jasjar only has 64Mb SDRAM, does that mean I will only have 34Mb left after I install my font on that?

in JasJar,programs are installed in ROM,that's why it has 128 MB ROM.....
RAGO

Extended Rom cab files

hi guys..... first of all i would like to say that i finally got the big storage thing working and its cool! Now my question is..... do i have to install all of the cab files in the extended rom 1 by 1? because i clicked on auto RUN and nothing happened.....
Yes, you have to install them manually but you can choose which ones do you really want to have.

Cool, but is there a list or some sort that tell us what is actually installing for each cab that is in the extended rom ????? :?: :?: :?: :?:

2.26 Rom

I'm surprised no one here has said anything about this release... I made the leap to it and implemented all my 2.24 settings/tweaks. So far, very stable and fast!
From who is it? Qtek, iMate, T-Mobile....what AKU does it have?
Some more info please...
I think he is reffering to THIS thread here over at XDA Developers.
Havn't seen it before, so I think I might try it out with our new Dutch Conversion Package 8)

And i meant: And, did you try it? I like my OS in dutch, and knowing t-mobile, it will take them at least 6 months before releasing a Dutch AKU2.3.
Sorry i wasn't more clear in my question

hey jb4play how did you get back all your tweaks from 2.24? did you do it manually or did you extract it somehow

Did you install the tmobile extensions? If not how did you get around that?
I currently have 2.24. Do I have to do anything like downgrading before I upgrade to 2.26? Or can I go straight to 2.26?

I used Total Commander to extract the extended roms from 2.24 onto my storage card/pc. Then when I upgraded to 2.26 I reinstalled all the cabs and tweaks, works perfectly for me so far.

In TC, where you type in directory location (very top), type in-
\extended_rom
The directory with all the extended cab's should appear. Copy the cab's to outside directories (like my documents) then just copy those cab's to your PC for storage. You can later place them on your mda again after you upgrade to 2.26 and run/install them. Hope this helps!

when he says "memory" i think he means disk space, try sk tools, its not free but it does everything to keep your device optimised
+1 for SKTools a very useful app

Can you clarify whether its disk space or memory you seek as both have been answered already

it was a memory app...but cleanram seems the one for me.
Thanks for all the replies,
Steve.

[Q] Kyrillos' Rom - App2SD still optional?

Hey guys,
i have a question but I am not allowed to post in the development forum.
Is App2SD in V4.0 still optional or do I have to partition my sdcard?
Please can you help me?
Marcel
If you don't partition your sdcard, it won't use app2sd.
i know.
But I can use this rom without app2sd too. Is that right?

Thank you.
Your Rom is amazing.
I have another question:
Now I decided to use app2sd and it is really fast. But I have another problem. I can't add widgets to my screen except widgets by system apps.
Can anyone help me? Maybe I forgot a step after flashing my phone.
If im not wrong all apps that uses widgets must be on phone's memory in order to get full access to its functions

Thats because app2sd+ moves the /data folder to a sd's partition right?
