I an using the phone on T-Mobile in SW Florida. 5G connects as often as it does on my pixel 7 phone. I have not had any issues yet.

The Z2 is on the Sony USA website! I can't link directly to it, but if you go to www.sony.com and click on the picture of the smartphone to the right of the a6000 camera and left of the PS4, it's the XPERA Z2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you look at the link carefully, though, it's on the global site, not the us one. However, the phone does seem to support some us networks like tmobile and att, since their particular frequencies are listed as compatible in the specs.

Since the international version supports all bands better to buy it than the specific tmo version unless you need wifi calling.

If you read the faq's it let's us know that this primarily due to certain carriers.
The article was posted on July 1st. Ever since then, another variant has been rooted, so there is still hope.
