2014812 is a global version,the updates stopped on 2018-09-07.
2014813 is a Chinese version,the updates stopped on 2015-03-29.

Do you have a link of the last update of the global version? My baseband is unknown and IMEI is lost.

And if I'd to restore the firmware from a twrp backup, it gives error 255, extracttarfailed. Anyway I can extract the firmware from the backup or any fix for that? I compressed the back up.

Here are the links but unfortunately no Fastboot rom to use Miflash.
https://xiaomirom.com/en/rom/redmi-...rom/#download-redmi-2-lte-stable-recovery-rom
https://xiaomirom.com/en/rom/redmi-...rom/#download-redmi-2-lte-stable-recovery-rom

The second link is 2014811. It's supposed to be 2014812 and can I flash using twrp?

At the top you have all the models.
Check if the current rom is in the "KHJCNBK" format.

Yotaphone getting too hot

Hello Everybody,
I bought a Yotaphone 2 model YD206 at Gearbest. The Smartphone arrived with Android KitKat, I used for some time and it was OK, but after updating to Android 5 ROM CN it started getting too hot while casual using such as Facebook, E-mail, Whatsapp.
Is that normal? I expected that it could get warm only while playing games or using GPS, but for my surprise it is getting too hot only for normal usage.
Is there anyone who get the same problem? If I change to another rom such RU or EU can solve the problem?
I already root the phone and also installed xposed together with L Speed to see if the problem persists, but it is still happening.
Thanks in advance!
Is there a chinese version of Lollipop?
Anyway, I see many people like you complaining about the phone getting hot after an upgrade. My guess is that its related to the baseband version. Since your model is YD206, are you sure you have flashed the correct chinese baseband with this so-called CN firmware (isn't it HK? Isn't it for YD201 models?)?

Yes, the model before updating was YD206 CN and after flashing to Android 5 it changed to YD201 HK 1.124d.
Is there a CN firmware running Android 5? I only found HK. Maybe this is the reason it is getting hot, the baseband / radio from these versions are different, can it be?
Yeah, I would definitely flash the YD206 baseband.
In this thread here (https://forum.xda-developers.com/yotaphone-one/help/guide-everything-to-yotaphone2-t3547194), there's a revamped version of the YotaFlasher attached to the first post. With this one, it is possible to select what to flash individually to the device, i.e, whether system+radio+userdata, or only system, or only radio etc. With that you can choose to flash only the radio files from YD206 firmwares.
Use this reworked YotaFlasher, download any chinese Kitkat firmware and make sure to allow to flash only the radio binaries when prompted.

should i upgrade to the latest firmware?

hey guys, im using the zenfone 3 ze552kl. and i rooted my z3 right after i updated my firmware to the first official nougat firmware for zenfone 3 which is Version WW-14.2015.1701.8.
and recently, i checked on this website https://www.asus.com/in/support/Download/39/1/0/28/CHukp94xOkwRMIP4/32/ the latest firmware for zenfone 3 is Version WW-14.2020.1708.56 which came out 20 days ago.
so my question is, should i update my zenfone 3 to the latest WW-14.2020.1708.56? or should i stay with WW-14.2015.1701.8 because WW-14.2020.1708.56 has a lot of bugs?
thank you in advance.
It's all good and fine except 3rd party theme no longer supported to which i wasn't able to retain my close to stock android quick setting. If it doesn't matter to you then go ahead.
I find the newer versions to be much more stable. Give it a try, re-rooting is easy.

Are you sure? Then why so many bad reviews at here https://www.asus.com/zentalk/in/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=152944&extra=page=1&page=2&mobile=2
The reason why I asked should I update to the latest firmware or not cause I'm rooted, I can't even checked if there's any system update in settings, so in order for me to update is to manually flash the firmware instead of installing it ota.
Anyway, my current version I'm using is nougat 14.2015.1701.8. it is the first ever official nougat firmware given to the ze552kl. And so far I'm using it, I have no issues at all, no bugs. But I'd like to stay up to date knowing there's a latest and recent firmware out there. But is it worth it? Since my current version is already stable for me.
Are u sure the latest firmware has no bugs? Or should I just stay on my current firmware version?

I've been testing each new version before it comes out through ASUS' beta program. I've found newer firmwares to fix more and more bugs, with no downsides.
Updating is super easy if you sideload the update via adb and simply install Magisk when you're done for root. I did it just the other day and it took me less than 15 minutes.
Edit: It's still 7.0, by the way.
The update is certainly pleasing and anyone agree that the camera takes better pictures in lack of light situation in auto mode ?

There was a short period where they were accepting applications. Only a few people got in, myself included. They might open it up again when there's a beta version of Android Oreo for your model.
By the way, the ZE520KL has 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage. The ZE552KL model has 4GB RAM and 64GB storage.

Which baseband version you have in your device?

Which Baseband version you have is your device??? (check in about device/phone)
Also tell about how good or bad is your network reception, wifi, gps and volte, Video call via dialler, etc is working.
Don't forget to mention your device model and device name??? (ex- x820, x821, x829, China Model, India Modal, USA Model etc.)
Also mention about which custom rom or eui you are using and which version of rom your using.
Also Mention if your flashed any modem firmware by yourself in your device.
Let's work together to find the best version for your device and your country.
Thanks.
( TIP - You can upload a picture of your about device section in setting but don't forget to hide or blur your private and personal details and device identity.)

You should know how old is latest indian eu, using china update ( you will need disable chinas apps ) is much better, new apps more stable, better translation for country language and beter modem which mean better id reader, signal, wifi.. i can say it beacuse i have x821, but do what you want )

x829, x820 and x821 are same devices, (820 is china, 821 is inda) (they have only different lte, lte is definied in cpu, so rom cant change it, so dont be scared) only what flashing firmware for another country can do is changing name of your model ( it doenst matter for waranty ) or add some bloatware, latest eui 5.9 for china have few china apps ( oyu can disable them i guess ) change splashscreen.

But for flashing that he need custom recovery.
And he is also worried about warranty.
Because of that i am suggesting him to update eui and keep using offical Indian version of eui.

that is true, but you dont need flash twrp, you can only boot it, so after restart you will have your eui recovery as before and bootloader can be relocked, but s you said he should try latest indian eui for his problem,
my opinion will be same, indian eui is ald and suck

I had the same issue while buying this phone. It's a vendor rom. I fixed the same problem using a fastboot china rom. But now I am using a custom rom.
Yesterday I upgraded to 19s and that problem is solved. But one problem isn't solved yet that whenever I keep 4G VoLTE on, Internet speed bar keeps showing speed and Internet also works even when Data is off and that drains battery too.

Hi,
I believe that the only current, up to date twrp is listed in this thread for the US997.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g6/development/recovery-twrp-3-2-1-unofficial-fixes-t3722199
damn backups dont work on that version
Current Known issues:
Restoring backups does not work, due to tar process terminating with error 255.
You must format data when coming from a stock ROM due to LG using forceencrypt.

Here is a link to my Megadrive. If you only need the modem flash the non.hlos.bin
https://mega.nz/#F!NJ5VHS7Z!p0iO7bDiZ4kXny03EiAlWw
Use TWRP to backup EFS, it includes IMEI. You could use qpst to back up the QCN
Helpful Tip:
Search before making these kinds of post. These files have been shared thousands of times. Also, I have a clean Recovery page that has everything you need to restore your phone.
Thank you. I've flashed the non hlos modem after backing up my efs in twrp but haven't seen any difference in connectivity issues. Even my baseband version seems to be the same. Do you know if this modem is different to the one I had? Are there any other modem files I could test?
Thanks again for hosting these files. You've been a life saver

LeEco stopped updates at 21S, whereas int'l variants saw continued support. They sold their HQ to Yahoo, or some other company if memory serves (back in 2017). They didn't update the modem between 20S and 21S, with the latter releasing around Feb 2017.
Edit: I believe there's an EFS option in TWRP, not currently on my Pro 3.
Thanks ... for trying to help, but;
No one actually answered the questions the OP asked.
No one actually pointed OP to the latest modem in a flashable format.
So, where can one find the latest working modem for the Le Pro 3?
What version is that, and how can we tell if we have it, or not?
Also, is there a more update modem from the internations versions that work for the le pro 3

727 only received 19, 20, and 21S. The last two share the same modem, as I already mentioned. The string listed above is the final version before LeEco USA crumbled in 2017. It ends in 00010. Check about phone section to see current one.
Otherwise, Tso linked the latest revision from his Mega account. Code and Mosimchah also have flashable 727 modems in their threads. IMG files can be installed via "fastboot" commands.
Int'l variants have newer versions of EUI up to 28S or 30S. You'll probably lose LTE+CA by flashing firmware for another variant.
