Hi guys, I recently installed an Android head unit that comes with CarPlay using the TLINK app, my problem is that when I put the car in reverse the CarPlay audio stops but if I use another app like youtube or the default music player, the problem does not happen. It only happens with TLINK CarPlay.
I have looked in all the options in the unit but I can't find anything related to this.
Do any of you know what I can do to fix it?
Is it an MTCD unit, post Android system information including MCU version.

Facing the same issue here. Tried to contact the store I bought it from and they don't even know that u can keep the audio ON while reversing at all, which I find funny.
After a software update downloaded directly from the unit the problem is gone.

Hi, Sorry for the noob question but I am new to Android Headunits. My Car Honda City had a non-android head unit which stopped working so I had to replace it and I procured a new head unit from the local market and got it installed. Now the problem is that I want to use steering controls on Apps Such as Saavn, Spotify etc but I tried using the MTCDTools which didn't work for me. My Headunit has PX5 board but in the MCU field, there is something else. I am attaching the pictures of the same and will be very helpful If someone can help me figure out how I can make the steering controls work. They Work on Radio, Bluetooth and Native Music Player.
Also, Is it possible to root this android headunit as I was looking to install Viper4Android. It doesn't have any card slot there are only USB Slots available

Also, My Car doesn't have shades and In summers it heats up alot when parked and I have noticed the headunit's touch doesn't works when its parked in the heat and I have to reset it and then it starts working again. Is this normal ?

So the Android head unit on the family's Tucson is a Beryllium brand Head unit installed by the Hyundai showroom. It boots to a pure black screen, radio doesn't work but Bluetooth does. I think the cause was from a failed firmware update and would like to know how to put it in recovery mode or are there any software I could flash in my flash drive to fix it.
Apologies for the bad photo, the vehicle is in use atm and this is the best photo I could find in my phone
The unit if memory serves me right from the device info was rckPX2 I think? Android 4.4.4

Any update for this?
Just installed a new Mekede M400 4GB+64GB head unit and it comes with a TLink app (screenshot attached). CarPlay works intermittently over Wireless, but I really would like it to work wired (both for speed and for consistancy). As you can see in the screenshot, it says MODE: "Wireless-CarPlay".
Can anyone guide me on how to get wired CarPlay working, with this or any other app?

I found out some updated APKs in the 4pda forum, I'm sharing here if someone else needs it.
Beware this is for dingwei vendor, if you have another vendor and install this one you will get a mismatch channel error.
Is there any way of getting TLINK to stay on/open? Like if I use TLINK for applecarplay and then turn my car off and then back on again it just goes back to the normal android screen.
Hi, guys I'm new at this, so bear with me, I got a new android 10 unit from AliExpress, https://a.aliexpress.com/_mLwdGdk, the t7 with 4gb 64gb storage. I got here and checked and it's fine, same specs. My car is a Peugeot 508 2013.
Everything is working according to the specs, but the canbus setting are very different from what I've seen in other units alike this one. The seller has been trying to help me, but is hard due the language barrier and the time difference, 12 hours. I have the code for the factory settings. 3368, dunno if that is helpful.
First I can't seem to find how to put the front camera after reverse with the lines, I tried one option and swaps, but stays on it doesn't automatically turns off. Also there is no option to change the resolution of the camera in the radio.
I saw another video and that unit got messages from the car into the unit.
That's a canbus problem, if it is can I buy another one? Or can it be upgraded without bricking it. Is a launcher issue?, I'm lost.
Also is it safe to install any other launcher via the playstore?
Any tips are really appreciate it.

Here are the pics, according to the seller it cannot be used like that, if I change the canbus for another model of canbus that supports my 508? will the menu change of the canbus? or it has to be the software? Can I install for example the junsun or joying? That has the same CPU?

Hello, I am trying to fix my car microphone and ran across some YouTube videos about entering engineering mode under factory usb settings which I did, but it seems my hardware audio testing menu is both limited and not working at all, there is no “normal” settings and the settings that do show up have errors, does anyone have the APk for theirs that works on the vertical 1024x768 screen Tesla style or have a fix?

Thank you for the software, it replaced my mtk shortcut but did not seem to do anything else unfortunately, almost
seems like the engineer mode has incorrect permissions or settings itself?
Looking at the other topic did have some suggestions but it doesn’t seem to align with my interface either
