[Q] Help with my Android Head Unit (update and video-issue)

After searching al lot on this forum I can't seem to get some answers (maybe because there is a LOT of info!) I am trying to identify my Android Headunit so I can make some changes. First of all some info about the unit:
I bought the unit half a year ago from aliexpress for a Suzuki Swift (>2011).
- Android 4.4.2 OS, HD 1024*600 Pixels Capacitive Screen.
- Cortex A9 Quad Core 1.6GHz CPU.
- DDR3 1GB RAM, 16GB NAND Flash.
- Built-in WiFi

I need help with 2 issues:
- I would like to update is to a newer OS. Is this possible?
- Since I have a pair of rear headrest monitors in my car, there is a second thing I would like to change. ONLY when I use the DVD function the external monitors get an videosignal. Usualy this is no problem because this way my kids can watch a movie and I can use the navigation app. BUT when I want to show them media from, for instance, youtube of a USB stick, there is no videosignal sent to the monitors and the can only view it on my headunit . Is there a way to cure this? Maybe a way to emulate the DVD function?
- Is there a way to change the current orange illumination colour? (anyone know if there are a lot of led's and if it's do-able to solder red ones instead?)

video issue on Android head unit
HI i purchased my head unit in january of this year from a chinese manufacturer it works fine with one exception and that is i recently purchased a pair of head rest to add to my vehicle so that my kids can see movies ect. but my surprise only dvd shows on the monitors i checked the monitors against another source and they work fine so it took me back to the head unit i've reached the issue over the internet and found many others have the same issue.
Can anyone help solve the problem as it seems to be a programing/software issue i could be wrong. but i really need your help.

I need the mcu file for this same unit. Mine got wiped when I updated from 4.4.2 to 6.0.1. I found and am using an older version but its outdated and some hardware still has glitches. Can anyone help me?

MCU Identification help for Kunfine branded head unit

Hello,
I purchased a head unit last year from Kunfine only to be told by the reseller that the unit cannot be upgraded. I am hoping they are wrong as I chose the hardware due to the ability for it to handle future upgrades.
The head unit is for a 201i Toyota Prius and the Specs are as follows:

In addition, I should have checked here first before purchasing as I would have definitely chose a model that is supported by the manufacturer.
Edit - I also used Surfer63's HWgetinfo.apk to get the hardware information but am unable to post the link to the file

Allwinner T8 8 core? Or is it?

I ordered this unit from China and am having a tough time deciding exactly what it is. Settings say it's a T3-P1. Aliexpress showed that if it's 8 core it is a T8. The thing that's confusing me is the MCU Version which shows "stm32-20190924-11-kc1-38" instead of the normal T8 that I've been seeing with the T8 units discussed on here. STM32 seems to be common in the Rockchip PX6 units? My processor is listed as sun8iw11 but everything I search on that comes up for quad core and the settings info shows it to have 8 cores.
I was hoping someone could help lessen the confusion I have with this unit. I believe it to be the T8, but the STM32 MCU version has me scratching my head as it doesn't seem to match any of the T8 MCU's that all seem to start with T8 I've read about on here. All I really want to do is get the development settings enabled, which seem to be missing completely as far as I can tell, so I can set a mock location app. Also on that note, the extra settings on this unit is hidden, you have to tap os version then kernel version 3 times and it never prompts for password. Root would be cool too, but I'm not very hopeful that it is possible on this unit, although, figuring out exactly what I have is the first step to any mods anyways.
I've included a couple pictures of the settings pages on the unit and one for the technical specs that were listed on the aliexpress page when unit was purchased. All help is appreciated!

Should be noted as well, tapping on Kernel version, OS version 3 times to access the hidden settings is something I found in a RockChip PX6 thread. It's weird, I almost feel like it has T8 hardware running PX6 software and MCU or something.

Big screen headunit help

Hello everyone, new here and looking for suggestions and some help. Looking to purchase a big screen head unit and would like some help on making a decision as idk what exactly to look for. First its going in a 2010 jeep Grand Cherokee. i would like the 13.3 screen but those models are only motorized and dont adjust move around so i think my biggest only option is the 12.8. Now ive been looking at a few like the klyde (which seemed like my best one feature wise), phoenix automotive, joying, belsee, and seciaine. and most do have the same chip but noticing that they were running android 8 and would like to have one with 10 is there a way to update these? Also the klyde one seemed to offer different chips but im not familiar with any of that yet so i was wondering wich one yall would reccomend? I would like have the best features possible (i know the parts arent supper high end but thats alright) the hd screen possible hdmi and dsp (not an audiophile but ive heard it does help). Android head unit help JCAC canbus setting missing

It appears i have bought an android head unit that boots showing android 11, says its running android 12 in device information app but has API 27. Should i download an update to make this run better or just use it as is.

In addition to this I notice no canbus version...will I have to load anything to have the canbus work for my mercedes ml320?

Seems as if it's very bare bones as I don't even have any canbus settings under factory setup.
