I have flashed Corvus_v17.0-Vanguard-treble_arm64_ab-17122021-Beta-Official-0000 via TWRP in my Galaxy A205f U3
Now the phone only shows the initial boot logo, then the screen goes black. I can't enter into TWRP, cannot understand if the phone is still powered on, so I can't boot into download mode by pressing volume buttons together...
What could be the solution? Please help me out!

Hi
Mate check your power button ( also volume up and down) it may be stuck
i have the same problem with i9500
but all the buttons are clear no stuck button with me !!
I agree it could be your power button. Same thing happens to me sometimes.
It may not feel like it's stuck, but it is.
Put it on it's side w/the power button and gently keep tapping it on a flat hard surface. it should jolt the button loose and power on like normal.
Hi,
I have a Samsung XCover 2 (or GT-S7710) that is stuck in a boot loop. The phone has never been flashed or rooted.
I couldn't get the Samsung logo shown, just a not-spinning spinner.
Image I have : andre-k.at/img/image1.jpeg
Taken from thread : forum.xda-developers.com/android/help/gt-s7710-samsung-bootloop-t3015707
When I try to enter in recovery mode (vol up, home, power) nothing happens.
When I try to enter in download mode, I have download mode shown a few seconds, then reboot...
I tried to flash a stock rom with odin and download mode, but flashing was interrupted by a loop, and now I have "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again." shown a few seconds, and then reboot...
Any idea on how to get my phone working ?
Thanks
HI,
the real reason is maybe that the phone isnt charging
To fix it hold on charger after 1st shut down hold power volume down and home button. When you enter download mobe click on volume down button very fast before it turns off. It wll restart to fastboot ( samsung galaxy xcover 2 and model showed. It will shut down after it. So when you click on restart after 1 sec hold the volume up and home button. the power button will automaticly trigger and then when it showes the logo 1st time wait when the screen is black wait and when logo shows again release the buttons. then wait you whil enter recovery and dont do anything just let it charge it wont restart in this mode for some reason
reply me if you did it or there is an error
I actually have the same problem, but when I reboot it in fastboot and I press the volume up + home button, it displays the loading screen and it just doesn't work.
Am I doing it wrong ?
I updated TWRP to 3.1.1.2 inside TWRP. The issue I encounter now is that my S8 stucks on the very first booting screen. You know the very first screen where it stated "Samsung Galaxy S8" and down below "powered by android".
I can't do anything. It's just like the phone has frozen at that state. Nothing works anymore. Even If I try to turn it off by pressing Volume down + Bixby + power button, it just restart and get stucks at the boot screen again and again. There's NO boot loop.
I'm on europe version of the Galaxy S8
stock rom and rooted (Magisk)
Got TWRP installed but after updating TWRP the phone freeze at the very first booting screen.
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks for your efforts!
First of all - make sure you have the correct TWRP for your device. I know for myself that by searching google I got the S8+ twrp at first and flashed it by mistake without noticing.
Then try this-
Connect your device to a power socket (pc or wall, doesn't matter)
When you are on the very first screen, turn off the device by pressing Power + Volume down. Your device will shut down and you will see the charging animation.
Once you see it, disconnect the device from the USB and try one of the following:
Power + Volume up + Bixby for recovery mode
or
Power +Volume down + Bixby for download mode
I think the download mode will work, then just flash a stock rom or the correct recovery and try again
I failed right at the second step. Once I connect my S8 to power socket and tried to turn of the device by pressing Volume down + Power, the device turnt off for about 2 seconds and then reboot again to the very first screen. Even if my S8 is on power socket, I do not see the charging animation. So that is why I cannot continue with step 3.
Any Ideas buddy?
EDIT:
I got it enter the download mode
I downloaded the TWRP img from here https://eu.dl.twrp.me/dreamlte/
After enter the download mode, I flash TWRP via odin. It passed via Odin but my S8 doesn't enter TWRP but instead stuck at the very first boot screen.
Any ideas, buddy?
EDIT:
I've solved it myself. Thanks for your efforts!
I got the exact same problem but how did u do it please help me
Hi I just got the exact same problem as you but I cannot get how I would fix it please help???
Edit: I got it to download mode but I do nut understand how I would flash it
The only way around this I found was to Odin back to stock https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s8+/development/rom-galaxy-s8-t3749444
Then follow the instructions to reinstall twrp using odin https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...-s8-exynos-t3847712/post77735501#post77735501
Hi,
Have this old thing, and charged it up after years, and am trying to get into it, but realized I had a lock screen
and password I can't remember
So I'm trying to get into recovery to restore it to default, but when holding Home+Volume up + Power it boots to this screen
and not recovery. I am pretty sure I haven't moded the boot loader and firmware
Anyone know how to get into the recovery? or any other way to get past the lock screen?
In doing some research, that is the download mode. But someone else had the same problem and instead of holding the Volume Up, the Held the volume down on a Galaxy Tab and it worked.
When I try Volume down, If I keep the buttons held, it goes in a loop. And if I release them when I see the logo, it boots into a black screen powered on, but no menu shows up
if the recovery is incorrect for the device (wrong model) it'll send you straight to that screen.
solved by flashing one for the model you have.
Welp, I admit I kinda screwed up. I tried flashing a custom rom to my S8 and when it was finished it ended with a black screen, no lights, not able to access recovery mode or download mode. I do notice if I hold Power/Bixby/Down Vol that a white line appears briefly and goes away, otherwise thats it... nothing. No logo. No nothing.
