Smart youtube stutters when playing video on my LG TV nanocell. How to fix it?

So, the YouTube app finally supports 60fps video, and it defaults to it whenever I'm on Wi-Fi, however, whenever it tries to display any video at 60fps, it just freezes on the first frame it buffers and all I get is the audio playing over that frozen frame. I have to switch it to 480p/30 to start properly watching the video again.
Is anyone else having this issue? Is this can be fixed, how do I go about doing that?
I'm on stock 4.2.2 rooted.
Thanks!
I was trying out playing some mkv files on my Gold Galaxy S7 Edge and I noticed some horrible issue in playing videos, whether it be with the video player app on board or third party like MX Player. The audio will play and the video is about a second off afterwards and it irritates me how could this happen on a top 2016 flagship. Has anyone else encountered the same issue and know if there's a fix? I've tried other mkv files and the same thing happens to them too.

Hello, i'm trying to watch Netflix from my MLA-L11 EMUI5 to an LG smart TV. Everything works fine until the movie starts, and i get only audio, subs, but no video at all. That happens with every movie/tvshow on Netflix, but, for example, i can normally watch a YouTube video with no problems.
I've googled and in Nflix support page they assume you have colour correction on, or eye protection etc.
But that's not my case. Hints?
Merry Christmas
