My a20 is randomly restarting during idle. It seems to happen when I receive a notification during idle, but not always. Any idea on why this would happen? (I'm on the unofficial Havoc 4.3 build from Eureka ROMs of you need to / want to know)

I am having a weird issue that the phone randomly reboots on android 5.1.
I have tried Euphoria and Terminus + 5.1 gapps. And the issue is still there.
I am using the stock kernel that came with these roms.
The reboot is spontaneous. Even with the phone in my pocket.
Anybody else is having this issue?
I flashed Resurrection Remix rom few days ago it was OK for a while until I started playing songs and at some point the song would skip and next to the other song, it kept doing that way until I close music app and open again, same thing would happen after few minutes.. And as from yesterday I have been having problem with random reboots and hanging when I type in whatsapp, Phone becomes laggy and freezes for a while and reboots by itself.. Plz anyone has this problem or a fix for this

Symtom 1:*At random times during typing the keyboard would hang, and the phone rebooted. My default keyboard is*TouchPal
Symptom 2:*My phone would get*very slow all of a sudden, very laggy and my RAM would run out and the phone would reboot.
Symptom 3:*Random reboots.
Try a custom kernel.
I'm on Resurrection Remix 5.5.5 and since day one, with alucard kernel, and haven't had any reboots.

Use Awesomeplayer instead of Nuplayer. Switch it in the developer settings. That should fix a lot of those issues.

I have recently flash latest Resurrection remix rom for Vince (redmi 5 plus) everything is very nice but randomly it restarts automatically again and again....

You'd probably have better luck asking in the Redmi 5 Plus forums: you posted this in Samsung land, and the hardware is totally different. That said, first recommendation is to perform a clean flash.
I searched around and couldn't find anyone with a similar issue.
I'm running the most recent Bliss build on my G900T Tmobile S5 using the stock kernel. I've tried (and love) Boeffla's klte kernel for CM13 on both Bliss and stock CM13 (as per his recommendation). On both builds, I encounter the same issues after flashing Boeffla kernel, and I was just wondering if anyone could offer some advice. Both test flashes are completely clean. I've tried flashing the kernel with and without gApps on both ROMs.
When I flash the kernel, I lose all of my pull-down toggles (Wifi, Bluetooth, location, etc), as well at the "gear" icon in the status bar. Additionally, no incoming notifications are displayed in the notification bar from any app, although the notification sound still fires off. I dug through the settings and the options to restore them have disappeared as well.
I also lose Bluetooth functionality and root. I tried to grab a log file to see what was happening, but the Bluetooth Share FC's would not let me do anything in the ROM after a few minutes of being powered on. Bluetooth will work fine for about 30 seconds, then start producing errors from the Bluetooth Share apk. Eventually the seetings toggle itself freezes and only restarting the phone "fixes" it. I tried re-installing root with many different apps (Chainfire's, SuperSU, etc), but to no avail.
For now, I'm back on Bliss with the stock kernel, running smoothly.
If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know! Boeffla Kernel is excellent, and I really miss intellidemand >.>

The Bluetooth issue is from the upstream cm13 code base it came about around 06/06 on the nightlies there are posts scattered throughout all of the builds based on cm13. So far haven't heard of a fix.

Hi everbody, i've used RR 5.7.4 for months, but about a week ago, i don't know why, ES file explorer began to crash randomly, and i managed to fix it (i also did a clean installation of rr but nothing changed). So i swithced some roms, but every rom that i tried doesen't support Real Time Clock (so if i set an alarm and turn down the phone it doesen't ring).
Could you advise me a rom (possibly based on nougat) which supports RTC? (i can't stand MIUI)

Why would you want to turn off your phone? If you are turning it off to save battery or to not receive calls, booting up will consume more than doze mode in airplane mode, wich only consumes 1 or 2 percent on the night. Is the ROM that i'm using currently, but RTC doesn't work as well as on tesla OS and mokee 7.1.2, but i don't know of it can be implemented or integrated maybe.
You should ask the developer to include RTC on its kernel
Is anyone else seeing random freeze + reboot events after the Oreo update. I seem to be getting them about once a day. Not sure if they are Oreo related or due to ElementalX
me too. On OB3+ElementalX 2.01 I have random reboots more 10 times per day but I try flash ElementalX 2.02 random reboots it gone.

On the first ob 03 with Oos kernel, i got 1 reboot. Phone was in my pocket in his cover. I feel vibrations from the phone. I pull the phone out & i see that it reboots.
Hmm, I am on the official Oreo with EX 2.02 and got a reboot 15 minutes ago. Kind of annoying, considering going back to Nougat, would have already done it had I not needed a full wipe.
It's because of ElementalEx. All custom kernels seem to be experiencing random reboot issues on OOS Oreo except Flash and Blu Spark. Boeffla won't even make an OOS Oreo kernel because he doesn't think the code is stable enough. The random reboots with custom kernels is supposed to be related to bad coding in OOS Oreo WiFi module. Flash doesn't use the stock WiFi module and Blu Spark probably doesn't either.
Same here. On OOS 5.0.1 and ElementalX 2.02. I get around 3-4 reboots per day. Very annoying.
