I have referred the firmware from different sources but the error remained.
The i want to flash the old Firmware MJ1 but this have a Error, too.
SW REV CHECK FAIL : [aboot] Fused 2 > Binary 1
With Kies Emergency Firmware Recovery i have the same problem.

This means you are trying to flash a older firmware, Samsung does not allow for you to downgrade the bootloader.
You to need find a MJ3 firmware for your phone.
Thx for answer, but the problem is when i flash the MJ3 i have the error "Fail! (Size)" by flash the hidden.img.ext4

Hey, guys, I have a question: I HEARD that the original IMEI of the Note 4 (I have the N910C - TCE) is read from the motherboard, but I also heard that if you don't have a backup of your /efs folder from the original stock ROM then you're screwed?
Do anyone of you all know anything about this? Problem is: I flashed a ROM on my phone and it wiped my IMEI, replacing it with a generic IMEI (350050500009692), and now I can't get it back without a backup of the /EFS folder?
I would REALLY appreciate your guys' help as its been at least a week and a half since I lost network service... if you guys need more screenshots, just ask and I'll post them.
Flash stock rom with odine wipe everything using a pit file...
I hope that will resolve your problem.
My friend have done the same thing. I flashed stock ROM from sammobile with Odin and IMEI was back and network service was back.

@webmaster750, should it be my phone-specific firmware or just a stock firmware (regardless of region)? Thank you for the reassurance, man.
@jemis1983, should the .pit file be specific to my firmware region?

The pit file should be specific to your model of note 4
you have N910C EXYNOS try first to flash your stock rom without pit if that didn't fix it flash using the pit file.

Okay, thank you! I already tried to flash another region on 5.1.1 with and without the .pit file, but it would not fix the problem, so do you think I need to flash my firmware for my specific serial number? Like the firmware that would be downloaded from Kies or Samsung Smart Switch?

Okay, but why make a EFS backup before when my IMEI is all screwed up?

Yes, specific for Your country or/and provider.
In my friend case I download and flashed the 5.1.1. CROATIA(VIP) firmware.

Make it the same thing if you can make call if not you should not need it.
@jemis1983 and @webmaster750
Thank you, you guys ☺ Okay, let me get this straight: so, I'm going to flash my firmware for my phone's specific serial number (more specific than my own region) through Odin when available and enable "nand erase all" with my specific .pit file as well? With no backup of my EFS (cannot make a call at all)?

Unfortunately bro you will not get anything, l know my words very disappointing but efs or serial number is special information stored in your phone (emmc)by special partition and if you wiped that ,then you lost your serial number forever,
You have only two way?
1-go to Samsung service and they will repair your phone and will back your stock serial number but that will cost you much money (200) $ or more :crying::crying:
2-anyone with zx3 box or octopus box will fix it but another serial number you will get
Super imei and that will 50$or less

@medo sator, two questions:
1. How do I know if my emmc partition is ruined? What if it's just my EFS folders?
2. What is Super IMEI like you mentioned in your comment above?
I have the same IMEI problem and have used odin and samsung tools pro with no change, also i tried reseting efs and nothing. It's a model SM-G750A galaxy mega 2 and i'm out of ideas or exhausted every search, what can i do?
Thanks,
Ok first install https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24459283995315430 that is MM stock rom for N910C. In odin under options please check auto reboot, reparation, f. reset time, nand erase all, phone efs clear and phone bootloader update. Just in case it asks for the pit click on the pit tab and select the N910C pit you can extract in this firmware. I posted the pit as an attachment just encase you can not figure out how to get the pit file.
Will this work for my sm-g750a galaxy mega 2 also?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G750A using XDA Free mobile app
So the most recent update to Marshmallow OTA screwed up something in my phone, it started lagging, the WiFi wouldn't store passwords so every time I connected to WiFi it would ask me to enter the password and Private Mode was messed up giving the error "Failed to enable private mode, try again" so i figured maybe a Factory Reset would fix this did it to reboot and see the same exact errors, so try to do another factory reset and see the error "dm verity verification failed" on the boot up menu.
My phone is the N910G from india and I'm running it on EE in the U.K so Samsung say they can't do anything about it and I'd need to show it to someone in India, but would the network make a difference or cause this issue.
Anyone with any experience in this same situation?
Thanks a ton, appreciate it.

What Odin version are you using? Best to use version 3.10.7 or later.
You can try ticking the options Nand Erase All and Update Bootloader before flashing the Rom.
I was using the old Odin3_v3.09, but just downloaded the 3.11.1 now will try this and see what hppanes.
Thanks

Try going to stock recovery then wipe cache and data/factory reset.
Hope it can solve your problem.
Done over and over and no go, it's a very frustrating issue and I can not figure out what's up. I even did the update through Kies and still the same.

Is it possible my Note 4 N910G could be a different version like from Singapore even though I've brought it from India?
Are there any risks in flashing the N910G other country version oof the software?
Yes, most probably. You can try flashing another official firmware such as from Singapore. No risk AFAIK as long as the Rom is for the same variant N910G. Flashing will just fail if incompatible.
I experienced this when flashing a Singaporean Rom. Flashing always fails. Flashing Indian Roms however are always a success. My phone is Australian N910G.
Oh wow didn't know that, so you have an Australian N910G with an Indian Firmware. Cool will try that.
Thanks.

Hi guys, I bought an A5 with less than 15 days everything was ok but I wanted to root to release more RAM I passed a BL file that gave an error, but changed the KNOX counter until it was ok. The problem was that the ROM looked strange with two drum menus. I thought I will pass the stock rom until then it was but after that I do not have IMEI anymore. Does the serial number only appear that can do or need the same BOX?
find misc partition failed
Odin error BL
Help !!!!
I'm not sure what you did but it sounds like you downgraded the rest of the firmware without the bootloader part. If so, that's the cause why you're not having a valid IMEI.
Try flash the latest firmware for your country/carrier.
I understand, but when I try to pass the BL file the error below does not know why.
Nand write start fail on odin

Hello guys,
My note 4 was having some reboot problems and when I try to boot in recovery mode I was getting error that it couldn't boot in normal mode.
I read somewhere that I should be doing a clean flash for the PIT file and the stock Rom, I started with the PIT file and it went perfectly with Odin.
But later when I tried flashing the ROM, it fails with the following errors:
- ODIN: flash read failure
- ERROR: There is no pit binary
I'm sure I have used the exact pit file for my model, I've tried flashing the Rom and the pit file at the same time but always the same error, now even retrying to flash the PIT file fails.
I'm wondering if there is any way I can fix this problem.
Thank you

I bet 100$ (which you'll pay) that nobody can find in your message the hidden sentence about the model of your note 4.
If, by the grace of the literate and smart people here, someone can 100% say that your phone is a 910F or similar model with a Snapdragon CPU, then...
Maybe your phone has a health problem plague called eMMC failure.
Or so it looks like.
You want my paypal account ? :silly:
Did you try newer versions of Odin?
And try also the PC app of Samsung - SmartSwitch - it can flash the original firmware based on the SN of your phone (located under the battery).
Read some more about these steps and try.
Tho, it looks like a dead emmc.

Sorry man, I forgot to mention my phone model, which is N910F.
The eMMC failure error only showed once on the recovery mode.
I've tried different versions of Odin, 3.13, 3.10 and 3.09, same error.
I also tried with SmartSwitch but for some reason they say that my model is not supported.

Interesting, I have an 910C (Exynos) and the SmartSwitch worked for me - I've had a soft brick too.
Oh, well... don't have too many hopes for the emmc issue. As far as it's known this means death.
Sorry for your loss.
