One of the features of the 'Samsung Keyboard' is called 'Text shortcuts' and this feature allows one to save commonly used text and have it be retrieved by a short 'key'. I have an A20 but I think my question is Samsung generic because its a feature of the 'Samsung Keyboard'.
I acquired another A20 and would like to copy all my Text shortcuts across to it. Any one know how to do this?
I called Samsung support but they could not assist.

1.Does anyone know about attempts to program a Cab replicating Treo's "ignore with text message" feature? If only I could program I would do it myself=
2. I also like Treo's Search today plugin, but the one available on this forum is not navigatable through the Today screen (i.e. you need to select the search box with stylus)
3. The other good thing would be creating a special dialer for voicemail with the dedicated buttons.
Let's bribe someone at Palm to send us all those customizations like it's been done for Photo Dialer=

The only way to get these working together and only safe way to enable either without compromising other menu options in TouchFlo is to restore your 26948339_manila file back to the default and manually edit the XML in this file.

It's probably because they have the same place in 26948339_manila, if you don't mind renaissance iphone icons you could try my icon theme (it's just a cab) here, tell me what you think if you decide to do so. It is on the raphael side of the forum but I don't think it matters
Hi all!
I just installed the AT&T leaked test ROM + XboxMod Rhodium. I like the fact that the "Programs" TF3D tab is gone and instead pressing the Windows Start will bring me to my favorite apps.
However, the "All Programs" soft-button still flattens the contents of //Windows/Start Menu . There are many apps there to begin with and I'll have a crapload more installed soon - I don't want to flick through a long, flat list to run what I want. Frankly, I find it rather annoying to do that every time. I will be adding my most frequently used apps/games/utils to the favorites, but that has limited space.
So, here are my ideas for improvements (I wish I could hack it together myself, but I have neither the time, nor the in-depth knowledge):
1) The "All Programs" list should have an alphabetical vertical scroll, similar to the new "All People" list: touch a letter to go to the apps starting with that letter.
2) Make the "All Programs" list follow the folder hierarchy of //Windows/Start Menu with sub-lists. I can then re-arrange //Windows/Start Menu to my liking and it'd be instantly reflected in "All Programs".
3) Add the capability to add shortcuts to folders on the favorite apps button panel itself. Right now it allows me to add apps only from the "All Programs" list.
The above solutions are not mutually exclusive.
Basically, I am looking for a more organized, finger-friendly way to launch programs.
PS: Yes, I have used QuickMenu before, which I found to be a very good solution, unfortunately, it's not very finger-friendly and it doesn't fit into the TF3D2 theme and user experience at all.
This would be a fantastic enhancement to the Rhodium TF3D experience.
My additional/alternative requests would be more simple & straight-forward:
- Identify the exe for the WinMo Start screen, and create a .lnk to it and add it to programs folder, allowing me to set one of my favorites in Rhodium Start screen to be a link to the traditional WinMo Start Menu experience.
- In the All Programs TF3D screen, add a right soft-key to launch the traditional WinMo Start experience

Good news: someone already did point 2 and 3 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=442341)
Bad news: it does not work on new devices with VGA and WVGA display.
Love my HD2, but am wondering if anyone knows of a shortcut to get to call forwarding or an app to turn on and off call forwarding, without having to go through all the screens and toggle?
TY
Andrew
I would like to know this aswell, if anyone out there can help ??
any news on this one? It woul be a very handy app.
If you use Launcher Pro as your launcher then you can open that page with an activity shortcut.
Long-hold the home page to add a shortcut and go:
Shortcuts, Activities, Dialer, Call forwarding
It still takes a few seconds to populate that page, but it has to get the information from your provider every time you start it, so there's nothing you can do about that. It is, however, a shortcut to that page.
If you don't use Launcher Pro then I don't believe you have the ability to add activity shortcuts.
I know its been a while since this was requested. I have just changed my car and the new one has an old factory fitted Motorola startac fitted as a factory option. Rather than mess and fit a new hands free kit I was wanting to forward my HD2 to the Startac.
I have just found the way to do what you require. Firstly use your file explorer (i used resco) to unhide hidden files. Then look in the windows folder on your device and look for CMcallforward. You should then be able to send this to your start menu. Im using Cookies Home tab so I was then able to add this as a quick link.
Hope this helps, cant get much better than a one button option
ON previous phones I have used (S6, Note 5, Note 4 etc) you could re-activate hidden toggles by using SQlite Editor and going into "notification panel List" and typing the name of the toggle you wanted to add -
When I attempted to do this on the S7 Edge (G935F) I cannot find the correct location to add the toggles - it's like the database is missing completely or has been moved - I get a message that says "no data bases found" when I try looking in the normal path that I have always been able to do this in past -
Here are the steps that work on the Galaxy Note 5
OPen SQL Lite -
CLick FIles (along the top of the screen)
Click Data
Click Data again
Click Com.Android.Provider.Settings
CLick DataBases -
this is where things breatk down - after clicking databases, you get nothing - no settiongs and no options -so I can't continue at this point to add the toggles that are missing - Normally I would do the next several steps to finish what i was doing...
Click Settings
CLick System
Look for Notification_Panel_Active_App_List - and add the toggles you want to add....
Any help or suggestions about what I am doing wrong or another way to try to add missing toggles is greatly appreciated - I am looking to add "Network Booster" specifically - I don't have that toggle now (also know as Download booster - I also want to add the Multi-Window Toggle - it is missing too --
frankly this is very weird to me - don't know why I can't find the right database in Sqlite Editor - but your help in figuring this out or at least in getting those toggles back is greatly appreciated.
THis question is getting lost among all of the other questions about the S 7edge but personally I think many might benefit from a solution if there is one - hoping someone can outline how to activate certain toggles that are missing from the list of avaialble toggles on the S7 edge - please help - if you can
