Why does fast charging work on some Custom Roms while it doesn't on others?
It worked on Lineage os, Hades Rom.
It didn't on Havoc OS, Bliss Rom, CrDroid and Corvus.
I have a rooted Samsung s8 (SM 950 FD).
Is there a way to force fast charging?

Hi guys,
I was wondering if there are any 100% stable 7.1.1 roms out there that are not cyanogen or lineage? I hate the setting menus on the cyanogen or lineage interfaces and I really want a rom that is as close to Samsungs original as possible.
What would be great would be a ported s7 nougat rom
EDIT: or anyway a ported s7 nougat TouchWiz framework on a nougat ROM like Lineage

Lineage OS 14.1 or RR 5.8.5
LOS is faster but has not so many customization options, RR is slower but you can customize it to the max
As the title says, are there any ROMs for the G950F without TouchWiz?
Hi !
There is Lineage OS 14.1 and RR (based on LOS 14.1).
It's available on XDA
But ROMs still under development
There is a stable Google Edition Oreo rom for the s8 g950fd
Check it out.
Which Custom ROM are you using currently? Comment below if you are using some other than the options.

Didn't find any good daily driver Pie ROM which is stable enough. I'm thinking of downgrading it to nought tho LOL.
CarbonROM Oreo
LineageOS 14 (Android 7.1.2)
crDroid v5.8 (Android 9)
Blissroms v 12.2 Android 10
Ressurection remix oreo and agni kernel
aex 4.6 with agni 13.8 best battery backup i had till now
Lineage os 17.1 - it's the most stable android 10 rom for my device. Bliss has a couple of bugs. The other rom i keep shifting to is evolution X. That's also relatively bug free - although you might have to flash volte fix zip. But nonetheless performance wise, its nice.

I am still running Resurrection Remix Nougat on my Redmi note 3 with radon kernal. Its stable and have no problem at all.
However, I have also old version of magisk installed as I use Dolby sound mod which is not compatible with the newer magisk version. Can anyone point me out a good sound mod that work both for the latest version and nougat?

Hi, I've been using Havoc OS 3.5 arm64-ab version for a year and I wanted to try some new roms, but when I install any android 11 rom it just ends up in a bootloop. The only one that I could successfully install was Havoc 4.3 from a thread here in xda, even from sourceforge I couldn't install Havoc 4.1. Is there any way to successfully install an Evolution X or Corvus OS android 11 arm64-ab rom? My stock rom is Android 10 U9.
try this
GSI for the Galaxy A20 (Android 10)
What is GSI? GSI stands for Generic System Image and will allow you to install an alternative ROM on your Galaxy A20? No longer will we be restricted to the Samsung ROM. These ones worked for me. If they don't work for you, go to the list of...

Hi, thanks for your answer, that's how I've been doing the installation but unfortunately doesn't work. Everything goes fine until I install the android 11 corvus/evox gsi, which are supposed to be arm64 ab, same as the havoc rom I've used for almost a year, but it always ends up in a bootloop.
Gsi is very tricky
