Hello xda,
I have recently formated my phone N9000 around a week ago. Ever since i formatted my Note 3, I am getting these notifications after making any call
"UPLOADING SOFTWARE UPDATE LOGS... "
I have taken the screenshot, Please have a look on them. Also tell me how to turn off this, I couldn't find any option to turn this off.
Note : using stock Android 5.0
Thanks

Haven't used stock 5. Try in Update settings. Anything related to Samsung don't agree ? with it.
Okay, I've got quite the problem. I have the Asus Zenfone 3 Laser that I just got today in the mail. I am using Straight Talk and when I put the SIM card in, nothing happens. The phone detects the SIM card just fine, but I have no connection. No calls, no texts....nothing. Wifi is working just fine. I have tried the couple of fixes that are floating around the internet and none of them have even come close to fixing my problem. Is there anyone here that might be able to help me, or at least point me in the right direction?
The recovery says that I'm running WW_user_30.42.31.1_20170629. I know there's supposedly an official downgrade, but it says it downgrades from 14.40.144.6 to 13.40.104.1. I tried it anyway and the update fails every time stating that it can't update over the current firmware due to it being newer?
Also, all of these updates say they are for ZC551KL, yet my phone says it is Z01BDC.... Am I missing somethign here?
Please help, and thank you!
Please, I'm seriously at a loss here. Is there anyone here on this board at all? I really need this phone to work, so if there's anyone here that can help me, PLEASE help!
Possibly a stupid question, have you tried manually re-flashing WW_user_30.42.31.1_20170629 official ROM:
https://www.asus.com/us/support/Download/39/1/0/31/2rbGWI881cnm1Xro/32/
I think Z01BDC is a north American variant of ZC551KL.
I have a friend who purchased a Zenfone Max M1 Pro made for the market in India (and maybe elsewhere) for use in the US. He did not realize that the bands used overseas would not be helpful in the US. I am trying to help him. He is on T-Mobile and really needs LTE band 4 so he can use his CellSpot device at his home. Sadly, the device he bought lacks this band.
I have been reading and trying several things since I rooted this device. First I tried the well documented approach using the QXDM utility. It turned out this did not work on this device. Not entirely sure why. But this user <https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=79713339&postcount=3> claims it is because the phone in question "does not have a programmable radio firmware" and "Network parameters are pre-installed in mcfg_sw.mbn files, also the per carrier volte parameters are embedded in this folder". He then says "mcfg_sw.mbn files can be deleted and installed by QFIL in QPST. "
So I am willing to try going this route. In looking around, it seems that users looking to change their phone's Qualcomm configuration have been finding users with "compatible" phones online and getting ahold of their files of this type and installing them + some additional properties changes. Sadly, Asus did not make a version of the Zenfone Max M1 Pro for the US market and so I have been trying to find another Asus Zenfone that seems possibly compatible from which I could try to do the same.
This brings me to this forum and post... In looking at the specs, the Zenfone 5q and the Zenfone Max M1 Pro seem to share many common features. It is true that one uses the Snapdragon 636 while the other uses the 630. But from what I have read, they employ the same modem. So I am hoping that I may be able to succeed using files from the 5q.
So I am asking to see if some rooted (you need to be in order to access the folder/files in question) 5q owners/users might be able to help. On the M1 Pro, the files are all located under this folder: /firmware/image/modem_pr/mcfg/configs. So I am guessing/hoping that the same location will be used on the 5q. It it is, could someone possibly zip up the contents of that entire folder and make it available somehow? I could then compare what you have to what I have here and maybe try some file swapping.
Any other tips/suggestions are always welcome too.
Thanks
