I bought a Sandisk 8gb micro sd card from Costco and loaded it into the phone. I'm assuming the phone automatically formats the card? Is there any way of checking what format the card is on the phone? I don't have a PC. Thanks!
is there any way to switch sd cards on 7008?
I have upgraded my phone to marshmallow. I formatted my sd card to use as external storage. Now I want to change my sd card to class 10 type. I bought one memory card. How can I transfer all files from previous card to new card without any data loss? I have not tried anything as while formatting present sd as internal storage it showed that card would not be recogniged by any other system from now.
I was doing rooting flashing roms etc and my samsung 64gb evo+ sd card died. When i connect sd card to pc i can see contents but its freezing after it and i can not format it. Now question is should i eject SD card when doing these stuff or it was a coincidence?

I would say always eject just incase. Saves it getting corrupted
I have recently purchased a SanDisk Extreme Micro SD 64gb SD card for my S7 Edge.
On Android 6.0 I had various issues writing to it. Since the Nougat upgrade it has worked faultlessly until this morning. The phone will not detect it at all.
Is there a compatibility issue with this card or is it simply faulty ?
Sounds like the issue could be the card. It's happened to me with the same SD card.
Connect the sd card to a computer using a SD card reader.
Backup all your data.
Put the SD card in the phone and choose to format it.
Connect SD card to computer and put all files back on the SD card.
Put SD card back in the phone and should work as normal.
That worked for me.
