Do Canadian based Transformers use the US update off Asus Site?

Got a new transformer from the newer B6 series with the black seals, and have not been able to get the OTA update yet, I would like to just update to 3.1 from the Asus site but want to make sure I would just use the US based version as there does not seem to be a seperate Canadian version. Thanks for the info >
Yeah, North America basically gets the US SKU. Although only Canada and US count as North America (Canada is worthless to any big company as a profitable country in terms of sales so we're obviously non-existent)

SGSZ passes FCC with AT&T Bands

Well, isn't that interesting. Samsung said along they wouldn't have enough Exynos chips for worldwide distribution but I never thought they'd put an alternate in a U.S. variant. Maybe that explains the delay.
The Tegra has some advantages in gaming but otherwise can't touch the Exynos. I'm glad I went for the UK variant.

wow that's a rip, glad i didnt want and order the uk version also, now if i can just get mms to work im golden
i9103 is the Galaxy Z.
All the news sources are idiots and keep parroting each other with the wrong info.

guys, the model did pass FCC and it does have AT&T frequencies. But it is not for AT&T I think. Samsung has always said that KEY markets EU and America will be getting the Exynos/Amoled version.
Engadged actually concludes their news bit on this with "don't expect to pick one of these up at your local AT&T shop, unless your local store happens to be in St. Petersburg Russia".

And I'm an idiot for parroting them without looking further. I changed the title of the thread.
So with all these different versions, will roms work on all variants? Just different radios? Or will it be like the galaxy s?

[Question] What kind of S8 Version is SM-G950FZKADBT

My plan buy a phone which can be used with boon payment (see whitelist)
Since there is a dual sim version of the S8 called G950FD let's take that.
But according to the above mentioned site only some cryptic versions like SM-G950FZKADBT are cool to use.
So is this an abstraction of S8 Models?
Or is this the super secret ceo version?

I found all of the items on the on the Business Section in Samsung Germany's website: (Link is for SM-G950FZKADBT, but I checked all of them)
http : // www . s amsung. com /de /business / business-products / smartphones / smartphones / SM-G950FZKADBT / (<-- Remove Spaces)
From what I can decipher from the page (aka Using Google Chrome to translate), none of the versions (S8 and S8+) listed on boon have the hybrid/dual sim capability, and the variations in the model numbers is for the colour of the device. All of the extras on the model number seem to have to do with these devices being the German corporate variants of the Galaxy S8 and S8+.
SM-G950FZKADBT - S8 Midnight Black
SM-G950FZVADBT - S8 Orchid Gray
SM-G955FZKADBT - S8+ Midnight Black
SM-G955FZSADBT - S8+ Arctic Silver
SM-G955FZVADBT - S8+ Orchid Gray
The Hybrid Sim version was intended for markets in Asia (India in particular), and is therefore a rare sight in the west. (I'm really bummed about this, and I'm a little surprised that Samsung would exclude it from corporate versions of their phones, as I imagine those getting these phones via their business would really get some mileage out of this feature.)
Thanks for finding the information.
DuckDuckGo didn't find this.
A little OT:
I'm irritated that only these versions are green lid.
Would have thought that boon/Mastercard verifiys as much as possible.
Seems not.

The s/w on S8's vary by region. In the case of mobile payments the banks hold a great deal of control as to what countries they want their payment cards available in and what countries they want them used in. There are a ton of threads discussing how to use Samsung Pay in countries that differ from the phone's home country. For example it's difficult using a G950F phone with Samsung Pay in the U.S. There's no such thing as universal mobile payments.
Hi, lte bands of this mobile?

What really is the difference between "International" and "Latin America" variants?

What really is the difference between "International" and "Latin America" variants?
Same phone - G975F D/S.
Latin America is for, well - Latin America.
"International" version can be EMEA, Middle East, etc.
So pretty much 3-4 different world markets and the only two differences, from what I can see, is:
1. Where warranty is given (which countries)
2. How often and quick f/w updates are being pushed by Samsung.
A "seller" from NY (top notch reputation seller. No, it's not the eBay guy, it is a major electronic store) sells a Latin America variant and also an "international" version. There is no indication on the box which is which, so if you order an International phone it can be middle east, can be EMEA, etc. The phones are 100% genuine. As I said - top notch seller that has been in business for decades.
Am I correct, or am I missing something?
Thank you.
I think there is only one international model. The Hong Kong, China, Japan and Korean models are separate variants--not international models. On the other hand, the Latin American model seems to be exactly the same as the International Model with the exact same band support and specs. The Latin American model is basically the International Model specifically packaged for sale in Latin America.
As for updates I'm not sure what policy Samsung follows. Some people seem to think the international model receives updates based on region and claim to have gotten updates more quickly by using a VPN.
I've never read anything to indicate that the Latin American model doesn't receive the same updates as the International Model so it probably doesn't matter which one you purchase.

I believe that there are different "international" versions.
The seller I am referring to is B&H, by all means a top tier reputable seller.
They offer an International version and a Latin America version.
The Latin America one comes with literature in English and Spanish and the warranty card lists several central America countries where you can obtain warranty service.
The International version - at least the one they currently have - has Arabic printed on the box (in addition to English of course), and the literature inside is both English and Arabic. This version's warranty card lists middle east and African countries where service is provided. This phone also comes with a Type G power adapter which is used in the UK, as well as some middle eastern countries, Singapore and others.
I don't have have first hand knowledge but I am willing to bet money that phones sold in Europe for example have European countries listed in their warranty cards.
Again - both phones are G975F D/S.
So the logical conclusion is that there are several international versions of this phone which are probably similar to what you stated above (packaged to sell in a specific part of the world).
In regards to the updates - I didn't mean some don't get updates but rather how often/frequent and how soon. For example, TPA (Panama) received ASIG update on Sep. 24 and then ASJD on Oct. 29, whereas European phones (BTU, DBT, AUT, for example) received ASII in between and they are already on ASJG.
