After rooting and flashing AEX v7.3(android10) on MiA1, the battery got drained too fast even though i restrict battery usage and data on every apps and system apps. I use fast charger yet its showing "Charge Slowly" and will takes 2days to completely fully charge the battery. Is it the rom? I charged it the whole day yesterday and still its only 37%. Can anyone guide me or help on how to fix this issue?
And what is the best rom to install for miA1 that can resolve this battery charging and drain issue? Thanks in advance if anyone can give me some guide
it happens to me too every other rom shows slow charging and after inserting usb pin to phone many times then it shows charging rapidly only Lineage OS 17 works fine never show slow charging and its best android 10 rom try it.

I was on quark os v.1. VoLTE, video calls, battery charging, and back up were fine. After that I clean flashed sanyam jain's n7.1. I faced very slow charging on standby, sometimes no increment in battery percentage while power off (after hours when I try to wake it up while power off it looks like it had forgotten to charge and starts like I put in the charging pin) and discharging( but slowly and some times remained at the same level) while using net .
then i clean flashed quark os v2. Same problems persisted again and also video call option disappeared. Finally I reverted to quark os v1 and the problems continued . I changed charger also but all in vain
Now I am charging my battery independently using self made butterfly and it gives good backup which perhaps proves battery is OK.
I think charging files have been deleted on my phone because during power off battery level only increases while keeping screen awake and it doesn't charge even by 1 % for full night charging during power off mode. I don't need solution for video calling, I only want my charging problem fixed. Hope you help me. Thanks
This is a bug, that I have nearly since I have my Redmi 3S. (So nearly since august.) I used global developer and xiaomi.eu weekly, but I noticed this on both. In battery stats "Android" keeps my phone awake immediately, after I plug out the charger and causes a high battery drain. The only solution is to restart the phone. It makes me crazy and this is the main reason, why I'm thinking to change to Lineage OS. Did anyone else noticed this bug? Do anyone know, how to solve this? Thank you for your answers!
Same as me
I have a same problem too in miui 8 7.3.16. And i'm thinking about to change to RR OS

Which variant of Redmi 3S do you have? Mine is the 2/16GB version (2016030).
I forgot to write, that I can't get rid of this bug, if I make a clean install, then I will be bug-free only until I install the next update. Maybe if I install the stable version, do a full backup with the built in app and do a clean install every update?

Facing the same problem in 7.3.16. I guess its the rom issue. I'm planning to downgrade to 7.3.9.

Thank you for your tip. I will try it.
Charging until 99% didn't solve the problem. But after some (more) googleing it looks like I found the solution: Until now I charged my phone using the charger and cable I got with the phone. Now I just charged my phone with an another cable, and there's no wakelock! By the way it's a Sony cable. Thank you for your answers!
Edit: Sorry, it looks like I didn't found the solution. I did a bugreport formerly, please confirm here: http://en.miui.com/thread-500015-1-1.html
Did anyone try stable ROM, who noticed this bug? Is this bug present on stable ROM?
I'm facing the same problem in MIUI 8 7.6.29 weekly updates... Did anyone got the solutions?

Well, if the source of your problem is the same as mine, then as I wrote, the only solution is to reboot your phone, because it's a kernel level problem, so apps can't help this. But if not, you can try this (I haven't tried it, for this you need unlocked bootloader and TWRP.) or the app named ForceDoze (For this you don't need unlocked bootloader, TWRP or root. But you need a PC with ADB drivers installed to activate this app.).
Hello friends!
I have charging problem with my S8 plus with...Everything was fine before i upgraded from LightRom Oreo to LightRom Pie. Than i realized that i dont like Pie rom than i revert it again to Oreo. Than suddenly i sow when i charging my phone it wont charge more than 80%, sometimes 74% or 70%. I have installed Battery charge limit app but without help. When i turn phone of it charge it properly 100%.
Does anyone have solution...?!
Delete the app. ???
That's what it's designed to do stop charging.
If not that make sure your device is not over heating Samsung has implented charging limits for over temps
I have deleted app long time before
No overheating, no games, actually i dont use phone much...

Hi.
Yesterday I was using my Nubia z17s as always and before going to bed I decided to charge it, since battery was at around 20%.
When I connected the charger, the screen went off and it didn't wake up, no matter what I did, although I could feel the fingerprint scanner vibration when I used any of the registered fingers. So I decided to hard reboot the phone by keeping the power button pressed.
To my surprise, when the phone booted again, the battery percentage showed 3%. I left it charging overnight and now it's working but the battery percentage is stuck on 3%. I'm pretty sure it's more than that, since I've been using the phone for more than 6 hours and the battery percentage hasn't dropped a bit, and the phone is working (I've made an received a few calls).
A guy at work suggested letting the battery drain completely until the point the phone shuts itself down, and then charging the phone up to 100% while off, so the battery is calibrated and the percentage is fixed. But I've always heard that it's not a good idea to let a battery drain so much. Another problem is that I fear not being able to charge the phone again once the battery gets below 3%.
Any ideas? The phone is running latest Mokee 9 Premium.
Thanks in advance.
Remove "batterystats.bin" in the System folder

I had already tried that. But deleting that file just resets the battery usage statistics. It has nothing to do with the battery percentage
It seems to me that you will have to make a full data backup and perform a factory reset.
ps and which firmware in use?
Hi, I forgot replying.
I finally got the phone up and running again, and the issue seemed to be firmware related.
I was running the phone on Android Pie based Mokee ROM. I finally let the phone discharge until it shut down and charged it while off. Battery got up to 100% and the phone seemed to work fine. But, a few weeks later, something similar happened again, so I reverted to the stock firmware (still stuck at Android 7.1.1) and the battery issues went away.
I recently tested the Android 10 based Mokee and found that it reports battery level very differently than the stock firmware. Before flashing TWRP and the Mokee ROM, the phone was showing 88% battery left. Just after booting Mokee, the phone had apperently dropped to 78% and I also felt quite a huge battery drain. And it had only taken me around 5 minutes to install the recovery and firmware. So I guess the Mokee firmware doesn't handle the battery very well on Nubia z17s. It's a pity, since all the rest works very well, and I quite liked the Android 10 experience. On the other side, I was unable to make Magisk work under Android 10, and Google Pay is a must for me now, so I once again went back to stock firmware.
I'm on Lineage OS 15.1 [lineage-15.1-20200816-UNOFFICIAL-athene], magisk installed, no extra mods or custom kernal, just the one that comes with lineage
This problem started occurring around a month ago. i was on arrow os 10 when i first noticed this happen, then installed havoc android 9, but after noticing that the phone died around 50%, i installed lineage 15.1.
my phone dies around 30 to 40% charge but i can still use it in the twrp, it just wont boot to android, shutsdown saying the battery is 0%. i have tried battery calibration but that doesnt seem to help.
Also, if it dies around 30% and i charge it for 2 minutes, then unplug, then i can use the remaining 30% of the battery.
My usage is just facebook, whatsapp and reading manga. i dont game or watch much videos on my phone.
Moto battery calibration issue.
It is a known issue with Moto g4 and g4 plus, unplugging and reinserting of battery fixes this issue for around 15-30days until it happens again. The only solution for this is replacing the motherboard or purchasing a t4 screwdriver and reinserting the battery every 15-30days. And remember changing to a new battery does not help I am speaking from experience ?. Hope it helps

It's not risky right ? Like, unplugging and reinserting the battery is easy ? Or do I need to go to a shop for the battery every 15 to 30 days .
And does it get worse after some time that you have to reinsert battery every week or even every day ?
Thanks for you reply!
I'm having the same issue, and it seems as though quite a few other people do as well, even with the stock rom and no modifications. Strangely, it started happening for me when I flashed AOSiP 9.0_r44, which was the first 64 bit rom I've used. The random shutdowns because of 'low battery' persist even on the stock 32 bit rom. All the suggestions of doing a battery calibration don't seem to do crap so it seems like a lost cause at the moment...
