Background:
My 2007 Jeep Commander has the factory REC navigation system with rear seat entertainment, back up camera, and Boston Acoustics sound. The REC head unit has and had its problems, and I'm excited about the idea of an Android HU, but I have many questions.
Questions:
Since my Jeep uses CANBUS, do I need a CANBUS adapter to install an Android HU?
Can these units play movies on the OEM rear seat video screen? Also, do they support wireless headphones? (I have kids! )
Is there a way to get my OEM back up camera to work with one of these HU's?
That's a few to get started. I appreciate any help/advice/experience anyone can share on any and all of my questions. thanks.
Hi guys! I have found that roadnav managed to integrate Ford active park assist system in their unit. As far as i know the canbus that cames with the MTCB/C/D units supports the active park assist system but the problem is the headunits dont interpretate the info and dont display nothing on the display. I have a Ford focus MK3 with active park assist system and all the sensors work perfect but when i press park assist button it does not display anything.
In this post is all the info i managed to found about the development of active park assist.

Maybe someone can port it. I think i should not be difficult but i have no idea how to do it...
Hello,
I can't help here but you have a s160 with Android? Can you tell me if front PDC is working with the focus mk3? And is it possible to connect a Subwoofer? I mean the Ford Subwoofer from the Sony Premium Sound System...
Thanks!
Christoph
Hello guys,
I'm thinking about installing aftermarket parking sensor (front and rear), and I wanted to know if it's possible to display park assist from aftermarket parking sensor output to an Android head unit.
I have a Fiat bravo 2 (2007+) and I saw that VW cars is able to display park assist thanks to can bus interface. So I wanted to know how I can do to display park assist on an android head unit (I don't have the head unit for the moment, so if I need a specific one, it's not a problem)
PS: I saw a can bus interface for parking sensor on "connects2" web site and I don't know if I need this to solve my problem.
PS: I unable to post link because it's my first post
Thanks a lot

Hello,
I ask for your help. I also bought a Chinese car radio, probably Junsun V1 with sticker "XT8102C DE".
I would like to input an analog video signal with sound, but it does not work with sound.
I suppose I have to activate the AV inputs. But unfortunately I do not know how to do that.
Thanks for your help and lots of greetings from Germany.
Wolf (Junsunowner)
