Hey there... firstly I am a noob...
The gyroscope sensor of my device is not working properly.... It has a delay issue... I checked that in "gyroscope test" app also.....the sensor is working but very very slowly and inaccurately...I first notice that problem in pubg mobile...i used "accelerometer calibration" app also...it didn't help.
Is there any solutions????
My device is unrooted and i didn't unlocked the bootloader also...
If i have to do that i am also able to root my device...

I apoligise in advance if this has been posted before but it's 4:30am and I don't have anymore time to search for this problem.
I've noticed ever since I've updated my phone to Darky's ROM (starting in dec 2010 with v8) my proximity sensor hasn't been turning my screen off during calls. I'm not sure if this is rom related or not but I ran some tests tonight (using SGS tools and sensor test/z-devicetest) and in all those apps my sensor doesn't seem to respond.
Does this mean it's broken?? Or am i missing some drivers or something??
I'm currently running DarkyROM v10.1.

Edit: found out that it is indeed working, however only when a bright light shines onto the sensors. Is this normal??

I have a i9500 phone.
I have this firmware installed onto my phone
I9500XXUEMJ5_I9500ODDEMJ5_I9500DDUEMJ5_HOME
2 days ago i got a push update, and then i updated my phone.
And then i see that automatic rotate isn't working, because the shealth walking mate wasn't counting the steps.
So i tried rotating my phone didn't work.
I did *#0*# to check the sensors and see that
Accelerometer sensor is showing 0 for everything
Proximity Sensor same
Barometer Sensor same
Light sensor working
Gyroscope Sensor same showing 0
Magnetic sensor same showing 0
I did a hard reset and didn't solve my problem, i then flashed the same firmware again and still didn't work.
Can you guys help me out?
Can't go to samsung tech since i didn't buy the phone their store and i'm from south america (Country Suriname) also

I tried to flash the latest version of arrow rom, and all the sensors worked for like 5 minutes then it stopped again.
I flashed the same rom again and same thing happening again.
hello, I come to you to present you a problem I encountered with my s7 edge .
Three times the brightness sensor stopped working . I also noticed that when I encounter this bug , the gyro sensors no longer work either and It's impossible to get the phone in landscape mode .
In the application cup- z no sensor is detected.
After the device restart everything is back in order.
Someone already encountered this problem ?

Next time to test the sensors dial *#0*# in the stock dialer app.

Any resolution? This started happening to me too, and nothing seems to fix it. I loaded the U rom, factory reset to the verizon rom and no dice. Samsung will replace my phone, but then I'm out a phone for 2 weeks and my screen protector.
After upgrading to DP4 directly from Marshmallow all my sensors have stopped working. Ambient light sensor isnt working, gyroscope isnt working, proximity sensor isnt working. Having bad luck with these N beta's, the last update stopped my device from booting up and now this update has messed all my sensors

Me too! I wish I could say I've found a fix. That's one reason I'm looking around here. But it is kinda nice to see that I'm not alone. Lol.

Hi guys, i hope everyone is doing great....this is my first post so if i post this in the wrong section or forum please do advise me or feel free to move it.
Alright i have a Samsung S5 SMG900i Australian one; unfortunately somehow the sensor stopped working what i mean is that gyro fails on screen test , auto rotation not working , neither when i play games that uses tilting , so yeah....phone seems broken, curious thing though is that if i reboot in safe mode and quicmyl get out of it and restar in normal mode, gyro will give readings and start working until it breaks down again within a few minutes; ive reinstalled using lates, old, experimental, nighlys. any room either official or stock still gyro and tilt sensor not working can anyone help me with this? Another thing is i love playing Airplane games now that gyro or tilt sensor is not working i want to see if i can either fox this issue , or i could get an app that draws a stick over the games and simulates the gyro with my movements? What i mean is; if i want to play a airplane simulator but the plane wont move because my phone is broken, anyone knows of an app that can simulate gyroscope or tilt movements with a simple joystick so i could move the planes as if i was moving the phone?.
